The first time we walked in, they asked if we had a reservation. We said no, and they still sat us--thankfully--the wine selection was out of this world, and the frutti di mare was to die for. The kids had spaghetti Bolognese, and it was fantastic. The place was always busy. On our second visit , we called to make a reservation and they said that it was first come first served for the night, we had to wait - we thought, hey let's just walk around and see if there is availability somewhere else - everywhere else was dead ..(we had to go back), I tried the catch of the day--perfectly pulled fish with a fresh seasonal salad. I'm sure this is one of the best restaurants in Ravello. Just a tip: don't go too late. The service slipped from so-so to completely unattended for long stretches, which really took away from the experience. I got the mushroom ravioli and it was a good sized portion and well flavored but everything was a little bit more expensive for the type of meal you got. I think the biggest draw was the views and going at the end of the season, by the time you got to dinner, it was totally dark and the plastic covers were down to keep the wind and cold out, removing the views you were paying for. I will say, we still very much enjoyed everything but I would have appreciated being able to enjoy the view with the meal! I probably won't go back if visiting Ravello again, but that's only because there are so many places to enjoy.

Seating a group of 7 family members Mothers, Daughters, Nieces and Nephews all gathered to celebrate family. Mamma brought out a plate of meatballs for the table. Immediately I knew what I was going to order! A bottle of white wine and pasta for everyone! Each bite boasted of flavors you just don't find at home! Tomato sauce (or gravy) so fresh with basil and mozzarella cheese! We returned the next evening to try the pizza!
