While the service here has been mixed on my visits, the fact that they are offering "home made" prepared frozen food is a big help when you need to take a meal to someone who is sick, had a baby, etc. and don't have a lot of time to prepare. Sometimes when I've stopped in, they were out of items listed so I've learned you need to call in advance to reserve or get there early. They also offer fresh items daily (posted on FB) which and have a limited amount of fresh baked goods in the store. They also offer "staples" such as chicken salad, pimento cheese, and various spreads/dips for parties/entertaining. The goat cheese with cranberry spread is divine! I've posted photos of the descriptions of menu item listed on their website and social media, since it's difficult to know the ingredients if you're not familiar with an entree just by its name. They have a large customer base and every time I've visited, there was a small line, so it's obvious others love Company's Coming, too! read more

If you call and find out when they are making them, you can get it fresh to take home and cook. (never frozen).....I have never had frozen veggies. The all time number 1 item I absolutely love, and take to many cookouts -get togethers- friend's house, is the Cranberry Almond Goat Cheese Spread. HOLY GOAT-BATMAN ! This stuff is wonderful ! My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with the food we purchased from Company's Coming. We purchased a chicken pie without vegetables that we had for dinner last night and it was delicious! The crust was flaky and the chicken was moist and flavorful! Prep was extremely easy. All I had to do was remove the plastic wrap and wrap it in foil and put in the oven on 350 for 45-60 minutes. I did 50 and it came out perfect! I also purchased some sausage balls that I had this morning for breakfast and they were great! I reheated them in the oven on a baking sheet. They tasted so fresh! You couldn't even tell they were frozen beforehand. This place is most definitely worth the drive from Greensboro. I can see us becoming regulars! read more

You can get it with or without veggies and I like that. In my opinion the chicken salad is the best in town. Every time my Social Security check comes in I go pick up a pound. That and a box of Town House crackers makes four meals. I have been so many times that they just look at me and ask, "Chicken salad?" What can I say? I love it.
