    Cappuccino and crème brûlée

Bobby Boy Bakeshop is one of those places that reminds you why simple things, when done really well, can be unforgettable. My wife ordered a cappuccino and the crème brûlée, while I went with a cortado and the chocolate hazelnut éclair. The coffee was smooth, balanced, and exactly what you'd hope for from a great café. The pastries were outstanding--beautifully made without being overly sweet. That chocolate hazelnut éclair was easily one of the best I've had, and my wife's crème brûlée disappeared so quickly I think that says everything. If you appreciate quality coffee and pastries made with real care, Bobby Boy is absolutely worth the stop. We'll definitely be making this a regular place whenever we're in Winston-Salem.

    Yummy looking pastries!

Bobby Boy Bake Shop is the best! This is why they won bakery of the year for the nation a few years back! Everything they make is so flaky, rich and flavorful with just the amount of spices and seasonings! Today I asked for an almond croissant for my boss, but she said the only one they had was the chocolate almond croissant, which is the best of both worlds! I have had both the chocolate and the almond croissant and they are so good and so why wouldn't the combination be even better! First of all it is huge and filled with their yummy Housemade chocolate and almonds! It also had a crunchy Ish outer part of the bread, and the inner part was soft and flavorful as the almond and chocolate flavors were present. of course the place has the coolest vibe with lively music playing. It's an open beautiful spot and it's very accessible for everyone who wants to enjoy and experience at Bobby Boy Bake Shop! Each time I go, it is truly an experience! The seating is ample, and there are sofa like seats on the back sides of wooden tables with wooden chairs. There is also a very large and long communal table. their coffee is also extremely good! My Cafe iced mocha is always so delicious with the espresso that mixes so well with the oat milk and Housemade chocolate. It's never ever overly sweet and so the richness of the chocolate and the boldness of the espresso with the oat milk and the cinnamon powder are heavenly! All of the employees, including Al, who is a fantastic barista are always so kind , helpful and energetic. If you haven't already, you have to try Bobby Boy Bake Shop at 845 South Poplar St. in downtown Winston-Salem! There is another location on Robin Hood and Reynolda Rhodes but this is definitely my favorite spot between the two. Some may say it's a little pricey, however it's such extremely high-quality that it's worth every penny! today I decided to try a new coffee and it's the meal latte that's with their Housemade cinnamon honey syrup and I think it has become my new go to Coffee! I started writing this review at a time before and decided to finish it today as I was prompted too. I didn't even ask for extra cinnamon to be added as it did not need it! Good job team Bobby Boy Bake Shop!

Excellence in everything they do and all they endeavor. I can't think of a more potent way to sum up my review than that. This is the second location for Bobby Boy Bakeshop, but the same could be said about the first, or any of their restaurant concepts such as Grandpa Joe's Slaberia or Noodle Ju'b. Never had a pastry or a sandwich that fell short of my expectations. The quality is evident in the presentation and taste. This most recent stop was a simple post-lunch treat, where I left with a chocolate croissant and a oatmeal creme pie like sandwich cookie. Neither one had a chance once they got home. Will continue to support this place and all of their endeavors!

I saw their Instagram post about their Easter desserts and didn't want to miss them like I did for the Valentine's Day desserts so I stopped by before lunchtime on a weekday. Everything was available in the case and they were all so adorable! I had been hoping they would make a dessert with matcha and they finally did! One of the Bunny Bottom cakes had matcha cake inside so that's the one I chose. I also picked up the coconut cake since coconut is my husband's favorite. They were both excellent!

Had a great bakery experience at the newest Bobby boys bake shop. Super clean and well stocked even at 4pm on a Friday. Lots of the things they are known for and some savory items . The specialty cakes looked amazing. I was here for the croissant though! There is no parking as such at the location just street parking which I found easily. Walked up to the bakery and stood in line which can take a second as people take awhile to choose from the array of goodies. I got the raspberry key lime croissant which I assume is a seasonal offering. Anyway had my name written all over it ! Plus I got a cappuccino. I went and grabbed a seat outside as it was a nice sunny afternoon. They bought my coffee out which was nice. The croissant was perfectly balanced , raspberry sweetness meshed well with the tart key lime and the crispy outside of the croissant. Inside they layers become softer as it mixes with the curd and raspberry . A must try if you enjoy these flavors. I savored every bite . The coffee was perfectly made with the pretty design:) A fabulous afternoon treat as I usually working at that time! Great place, great space inside and outside. Honestly only thing I'd maybe say was maybe the staff could smile . Bobby boys has this pastry thing down pat though .

Stopped in for some sweet treats the other day. Was welcomed walking in the door. Walk through the line service, I got a box of bakery treats to go. Inside an old revamped industrial complex with several other businesses. High ceilings, modern minimalist interior. After looking at all the days offerings, went for half a dozen treats of various styles and flavors. Of course the fair amount of chocolate treats to go with my other fruit and cream filled ones. Well worth a stop and the time it takes to park and walk in. A parking lot is directly across the street from the high fence gate entrance. 4 Stars a solid choice for fresh made bakery goods 01151

With a great reputation I was glad to drop in to new location. I ordered a hot chai latte & cinnamon roll. If I'm honest the latte was not very hot but tasted great- cinnamon roll was delicious. The seating is nice & when it warms up the outdoor seating will be perfect!

I would give Bobby Boy ten stars if I could. It is such a delight to go visit the bakeshop and enjoy their amazing goodies. I have tried so many pastries, pies, breads, and coffee from both locations and I have not found anything I haven't liked. They are very friendly and everyone is eager to answer any questions or make recommendations if you're overwhelmed by the options. My favorite has to be the Key Lime Pie they have regularly. My family and I often go for lunch as they have great daily options. We pick up some sweets and coffee. The bakery is beautiful and a great place to sit and enjoy your food. Even our little one loves to eat in. Highly recommend

I love this place! Both locations are great but the new location is just awesome! Very bright and airy. The people are always kind and very well informed. And then there is the food. OMG! I have eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. Everything is fresh and is made with the highest quality ingredients. The Italian beef sandwich was sooo good. Meat was tender, bread was perfect! I had one of the Christmas pastries (forgot to get a picture) and it was so good. Croissant with cream and strawberries inside. Just amazing. I also had a Chai Latte that was incredible. One of the best in the Triad! Also want to shout out the Cubano sandwich the have sometimes. It is my favorite sandwich there!!

This new location is right by my work, so I had to pay them a visit. The shop looks so pretty, cozy, warm, and inviting. It really makes me happy just waking in a Bakeshop decorated like this. Their treats are displayed beautifully too. We got a classic butter croissant and a mushroom danish. The croissant had the perfect crunch on the outside and fluffy layers inside. While the danish tasted amazing, reminding me of a mushroom patty I loved in India. I'm definitely going to be stopping by again!

We had only visited the original Bobby Boy once before, but when we heard they opened a new location in the Salem Bottleworks complex, we knew we had to stop in. After enjoying lunch at nearby Grandpa Joe's, we headed over for something sweet. There was a short line when we arrived, which gave us time to admire the space--it's beautifully designed, with every detail thoughtfully done. The pastry case was full of tempting options, and my wife immediately zeroed in on the Peanut Butter Buckeye Brownie. We also picked up two ginger cookies. Prices felt very reasonable, especially given the quality. The cookies were soft and flavorful, but the Buckeye stole the show--it was rich, perfectly balanced, and absolutely incredible. We also noticed they serve soups and sandwiches, so we're already planning a return visit to try lunch. Parking is easy, with a free customer lot located at the corner of Poplar and Walnut. Overall, this new Bobby Boy location is a fantastic addition to the Bottleworks, and we can't wait to come back!

I was asked what I was feeling to experience energetically out of the various programs available and I chose "Release". I didn't know what to expect and it turned out to be quite profound and healing on many levels so I want to share my experience. I was taken to a beautiful dark teal room with Tibetan prayer flags overhead...tranquil and inviting. I put on some padded headphones while the program was being initiated, and made myself comfortable on my back on an ergonomically sculpted bed. Resonant music came through the headphones as the bed began to vibrate and undulate, my back and legs receiving a massage-like experience as my entire body felt the resonance of sound healing. My first impression was feeling I was a garden being tilled...old stagnant energy was being lifted and shaken and I felt a renewed energy pouring through me. In time, I connected my experience with the elements, grounding energy of Earth, sinking and flowing as Water, lifting and moving in spirals as Air, and the warmth and blaze of Fire...as these blended into Spirit I began to journey and fell into what felt like a sleep state. I came out of the sleep state as the resonance shifted, and it gently brought me to stillness over several minutes, softening and slowing until the program ended.
