Stopped by for dinner tonight because we were in the area & it did not disappoint! We started with the brisket tater tots, which were probably my favorite part. They were soo good - the cheese on top was really flavorful & the brisket was really good too. I ordered a grilled cheese with bacon with hot chips and really enjoyed that too. The chips were well salted and perfectly cooked. They were also thinly sliced & perfectly crispy. I highly recommend ordering beer cheese to dip them in - it was so delicious! The service was great. Everyone was so nice & our waiter made sure we had everything we needed. Parking was easy because there's a parking lot in the back. They had a really big menu so I'm excited to go back and try more. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere grabbed our attention. The bottle-cap tables, Grateful Dead memorabilia, vintage signs, exposed wood beams, and eclectic décor give the restaurant so much personality. It feels welcoming, relaxed, and unlike your typical burger place. You can tell this isn't a chain restaurant, it's a place with character. Our server, Hannah, was absolutely fantastic. She greeted us with a smile, knew the menu inside and out, made great recommendations, checked on us throughout the meal, and somehow managed to be attentive without hovering. Great service can make or break an experience, and she absolutely made ours even better. We started with the Brisket Tots, and wow...these are a MUST order. Crispy tater tots covered with tender smoked brisket, creamy beer cheese, scallions, parmesan, and chipotle lime aioli. Every bite was loaded with flavor, and honestly, this appetizer could have been a meal all by itself. The drinks were just as impressive. I started with a perfectly made Manhattan, then switched to a Long Island Iced Tea that was properly strong without tasting overpowering. My husband ordered an Apple Tini, and we even had a funny moment when our drinks almost got switched at the table. We topped it all off by sharing a tequila shot together, making it the perfect way to kick off our date night. For dinner, I ordered the Jam Session Burger, and hubby ordered the Black & Blue Burger. Both burgers were cooked perfectly, juicy, and piled high with fresh toppings. My burger had incredible flavor with bacon, grilled onions, pepper jack cheese, bacon jam, and just the right balance of sweet and savory. Hubby loved the Black & Blue! The portions were incredibly generous. Between the Brisket Tots and our burgers, we were completely stuffed and ended up taking nearly half of our food home. That's always a bonus because lunch the next day was just as good. Before we left, Hannah recommended the Peanut Butter Cheesecake, and I'm so glad I listened. Rich, creamy, decadent, and the perfect ending to an already amazing meal. Everything about this place was on point. The food arrived hot and beautifully presented. The cocktails were excellent. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was fun, and the service never slowed down even though they were busy. My husband even ran into an old coworker while we were there, which made the evening even more memorable. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and the portion sizes. You can tell they put pride into what they serve, and it shows. Whether you're looking for an amazing burger, smoked brisket, handcrafted cocktails, a casual date night, or just a fun place to unwind after work, Frady's absolutely delivers. Don't let the small, unassuming appearance fool you: If you're looking for some dang good food, a full belly, and good service, Frady's is your place! We've been a few times but I've been too busy eating to do pictures or a review in the past. Tonight, I had a craving for a good burger and knew Frady's would hook me up. Despite the restaurant being packed, we were seated within a few minutes of arrival, and greeted with a smile. Service was kind and prompt our entire visit. I started off with a glass of whiskey, which is a nice treat since they have a comprehensive and fairly priced list of options. It's a nice way to try something (especially among the allocated options) that you might not have at home. For food, we got the Frady's ultimate cheeseburger and the All-American cheeseburger. Both were huge, served fresh, and fantastic. They really use fresh high-quality meat here and it shows. My wife also had had a side salad which was delicious and fresh, and I enjoyed the perfectly crispy tots. I've never had a disappointing meal here, and continue to recommend it to friends. They could use a larger location (a good problem to have because their popularity is well-earned) but otherwise I have nothing but praise! read more

Came here for dinner because we were in the area and it was packed. We had to wait maybe 5 minutes for a table which wasn't bad at all. I decided to get the Renegade with a side of chips. The sandwich was good and had a good amount of brisket in it and sooo much cheese. The chips tasted freshly made and had the perfect amount of seasoning and were so thin and crispy. Stopped in for a quick lunch and enjoyed the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had in the area. I was on my own, so just sat myself, at the bar. The bartender was quick to provide a menu, on top of my drink refills the whole time, and checked in regularly. It was a bit busy, being lunch time on a Friday, but the kitchen was getting food out quickly, and the staff were friendly as usual. If you're never been, I 100% suggest checking them out. Since I was the first to review Frady's in 2022,alot has changed and the best parts have stayed the same. This is really a hometown bar food restaurant. The food is limited but consistently delicious. I am hooked on the brisket quesadilla. I was disappointed on their house chips, they lacked salt and were soggy. The choice of bourbons rivals the bourbon trail and their service is lightening fast. In fact, you can order your meal, get it and eat it faster then getting a burger at McDonald's. This is the best fast food you can get. We eat here at least twice a month. read more

The veggie menu was a little sparse, but that's okay because this is top 5 best veggie quesadillas that I've ever had. The filling was cooked perfectly and the cheese melted right in with the dish. We really enjoyed our meal at this absolutely hopping little pub in high point. The decor is very eclectic and fun, the wait staff were cheerful and welcoming and all of the food was pretty great! I chose the Cuban and side salad, the ranch dressing was house made and very good, the salad was super fresh and satisfying on a hot day, good quality ingredients. The nachos were maybe the only slight disappointment in that the chips are fresh but extremely delicate and break super easily making it extra challenging and messy to eat. Stopped by for a casual meal and honestly... we were pleasantly shocked. The service? Impeccable. Our server was actually friendly -- like, smiling-on-purpose friendly, not the "I need tips to survive" kind. It was unsettling... in a good way. We sat outside, soaked up the sun (and probably some gnats), and every one of us got a burger -- because we're predictable like that. But guess what? Every single burger slapped. Perfectly cooked, nicely dressed, and none of that sad, soggy bun energy. 4/5 stars because nothing's perfect -- but this came pretty close. First time at Frady's, and they were busy at lunch rush. Parking was limited at that time, but we did get lucky enough to be able to park and to get a table for 6 despite the rush. Elongated wait time aside, the service was very friendly, and the seating was deceptively spacious and comfortable at the booth. I enjoyed checking out some of the random posters and other collectibles they had strewn about. I got the Cuban sandwich and the nachos. Neither item was the best I've ever had, but I also don't have a ton of complaints. Just seemed a bit on the bland side for my liking. The chips were made fresh but also pretty weak and crumbly for the nacho dish. Cuban could've used more melty cheese and more mustard. The nachos had a rather uneven distribution of the ingredients, but all of it was good enough that I wasn't mad at my lunch. read more

We stumbled upon Frady's while driving through High Point. We were out and about on Sunday and wanted to get lunch. After doing a quick search for local eateries we were impressed with the rating and reviews and decided to stop in. They are Located in a small retail/commercial strip mall named Times Square at the corner of Lexington Avenue and Main Street in High Point. The parking lot is located behind the building and seems to have ample parking. There is a small outdoor patio as well, which looked inviting and taken care of. Inside, there are approximately 15 tables along with a small bar area. We immediately noticed the various Grateful Dead posters which were framed and hanging on the walls. We were told we could pick a table and we were immediately greeted by Savannah. She asked if we had been there before because she did not recognize us. From the very start, Savannah was incredible. She had a big smile, was friendly and was quick to share some of her favorites from the menu when asked. She also told us a little about the owner and how some of menu items came about. She took our drink orders while we looked over the menu and we were impressed on the variety. Starter options were plentiful and included items such as chips and salsa, truffle fries, nachos and a redneck charcuterie board. Salads and Handhelds included such favorites as a Crispy Asian Salad, Southwestern Chicken Salad, Nashville Hot Sandwich, Cuban or Brisket Sandwich. Frady's offers several hamburgers to chose from featuring 1/2 pound USDA select Black Angus, Short Rib and Brisket ground fresh and made to order. Finally, there are a handful of various Quesadilla options and Smoked Mac and Cheese bowls. We asked Savannah about a hot chips appetizer because we only saw the hot chips option as a side. She told us that wasn't a problem to order it as an appetizer served with ranch. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Mac while my wife ordered the Smoked Brisket Salad. Savannah brought our hot chips out and they looked amazing! We instantly dug in and felt they were seasoned perfectly. Our entrees arrived in a timely manner and also looked delicious. We enjoyed each and every bite. Everything about Frady's was a 5 star experience, from our incredible server, Savannah to the quality of our meals. We also felt the prices were very reasonable. Nestled right by HPU this taphouse had plenty of options as far as food, appetizers, and drinks go! I got a royal flush for my drink, it was made very nicely probably the best one I've ever had, and for food we got the nachos! The service was quick our waitress always made sure we were good, and it didn't seem like they had much staff but they were rolling! Food came out quick and it was very fresh. The nachos had beer cheese, lettuce, black beans, pickled onions and some other stuff! Their tortilla chips were homemade as well! The bar area had a couple games to play and overall it was a very quaint spot, perfect for a date night or a night out with friends! It's in the perfect location. read more

We went to Frady's while exploring High Point one day. When walking in I wish there was a sign saying "seat yourself" because if you are unfamiliar like I was you just stand for a second until someone directs you haha! After sitting down we ordered a couple of teas and perused the menu. We ordered the 90 miles to Cuba and the Renegade. Both were great. They came with multiple side options but we both chose Tots (because who doesn't?) the Cuban was hot, thin, the ham was also sliced thin to my liking. I wish the bread was a bit more crunchy/crusty but that is just me being picky. The renegade was also good. The cheese didn't melt together too well but overall the sandwich was good. I could have used maybe some more sauce on it because it felt like it was missing a certain something BUT overall both sandwiches were great! Definitely want to come back to try more on their big menu! I felt that it was just a little bit pricey for the amount but for a small business I understand. 5/5 definitely recommend! read more

Great spot! Fun interior with ample seating. Space at the bar and outside. Service was good. We had several waitresses helping us. Food came out quickly. We even ordered the pretzel with the brisket and beer cheese and other toppings to go. Tried the grilled chicken nachos and they were awesome! The chips were super fresh, the chicken was tasty, and the cheese sauce hit just right. Only thing I didn't love was the random salad piled on top -- kinda weird for nachos. Other than that, they were seriously good. I'd totally get them again, just without all the greens next time.
