You are allowed to opt out of their insurance, but after repeatedly providing their offfice with a copy of my own insurance company's invoice clearly showing the effective dates of coverage, I am continuing to be charged for their insurance. There are many noticeable areas of damage to door weatherstripping, downspout drain hoses etc. which are never repaired. Not recommended.

The staff there were super friendly and extremely helpful. The use of the moving truck - for free!! - was a surprise added bonus. I was supposed to keep a single 10 x 20 unit for a month, but ended up with 4 units for two months (to date) Michell Riggs was awesome to work with. She made sure my units were close together for my ease of use and made the whole chaotic and difficult situation a little better - which was very much appreciated! Someone needs to give that lady a raise! :) I've visited the location numerous times to move my belongings out a little at a time and every time, Michell and Julie are friendly and happy to help me in any way possible. Seriously, I can't recommend this place enough. I hope to never have to use it again though! :)

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location. Their approach to customer service and retention feels dismissive and unprofessional. Rates seem to increase arbitrarily, and there is no willingness to work with customers, even when the facility is not at full occupancy. It's frustrating to see a business risk losing a long‑term customer over a small amount, especially when maintaining relationships should be a priority. The staff has consistently come across as rude and unhelpful. While the building is climate‑controlled, it's far from high‑end. The carts are broken, the units are dark with no lighting, and overall, the facility lacks attention to customer experience. In short, the service and management have made this a disappointing place to store my belongings. After making a complaint to the district manager, it is evident that the rates are more important that customers and I will be removing my items asap. This is the worst u-haul location I have ever been to. The website indicated the location opened…read moreat 7am. No one showed up until 730 to service customers. When they finally open the doors, there were 8-10 people waiting. There was only one person working the counter, so the check-in process moved ridiculously slow. After a long wait, I finally was assigned a truck, only to find that it was parked behind another and I could not exit. I spoke to a U-Haul worker, It took him over 15 minutes to move the other truck so I could exit. During that time I spoke to another client that was also waiting for a u-haul worker to move a truck so he could also leave. To add insult to injury, the cab of my assigned truck smelled like fish. When I returned the truck, after my move, the agent receiving the trucks said he was unable to check me in, and that he would do it later and I would get an email. While the work ethic and attitude of the workers was extremely poor, I blame the site manager for making bad hires, poor training, and not creating a client focused culture.

The tanks were filled quickly without any issue. The credit card machine that is built onto the propane station was not working, but a second employee was standing by with a mobile device that was able to run my credit card and send me an E text receipt without any delays. I was very satisfied with how quickly I was able to get in and out at this location and the staff were very polite and professional.

In dealing with both of them during this Pandemic while I had medical problems and lost work is like dealing with two polar opposites. Ray Self Storage have been angels. They answer calls and will keep trying you back to discuss your account. They have worked everything out and now I'm back on track. Securcare however, does not return calls and in fact routs your call to a system where you have to pay and not discuss your account. They are stuck on late charges and liens. You would think after 17 years of being a customer it might make a difference to them but it doesn't. Pandemic or not they're out to make you suffer. If NSA hadn't bought the company they would have gone under. I give them an F.

That was definitely beyond the call of duty. Highly recommended.
