I've been dealing with Kent for over 20 years. Never have I had any problem with his work. I've had many repairs and updates to my computers and haven't any problems. I've purchased five computers as well as accessories from Kent and had no problems with anything. I had a computer and printer go totally wonky, it was a mess, and he fixed it in two days. Kent is direct with his answers, you ask him and he'll tell you if you need it or not, or why bother repairing it if it's going to be a Band-Aid fix or become obsolete in a matter of time. The first time around I didn't listen to him. I told him to do just the board repair and re-download. I guess I didn't like him telling me the computer board was on it's way out.. Two months later I was back because the fix I told him to do didn't last. I bought a rebuilt tower of his and I was back in business. Purchased a game at the Microsoft store/Xbox store which never loaded. When I received my credit card statement I was charged $63.30. Sent Xbox/support 5 requests to review the case. They told me once you have the game for more than 14 day, no refunds. I NEVER GOT THE GAME, IT DID NOT DOWN LOAD. I asked for purchase #s, order #s, usage dates & times, any info they had that showed I got & used the game. NO REPLY!!! I've checked the reviews and thousands of people have the same complaint. We need a young lawyer to start a class action and make Microsoft return the money they have stolen. read more

I have used Compatible Computers for at least a dozen years. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my computer problems and purchases. The staff has always been knowledgeable, obliging and efficient. Kent is extremely good at what he does, and he is very understanding and always patient with my ignorance and my usual "I need it NOW" attitude. HORRIBLE!! RUDE!! INCAPABLE! OBNOXIOUS! Kent takes on jobs he is not capable of doing and then gets angry and argues with you when you ask why he said he originally could do the job. He kept pretending like he did what we asked, when he did nothing but mess up our computer! Now you cant spend more than five minutes on it without the screen freezing and having to restart it. read more
