PC Warehouse is NOT permanently closed! I called PC Warehouse, today and I briefly explained the issue I was having with my Hewlett Packard PC and was told I would need to bring it in for diagnostic testing, before they could tell me whether it could be repaired or not. So, I took a quick drive from West Hartford to Wethersfield to their shop, conveniently located on Silas Dean Highway. I met with Jose and he told me to give him a day or two and he would be able to tell me what's going on with my PC. Fair enough. I drove home, walked my dog and when I got back to my house, the phone rang and it was Jose, calling to tell me my PC was fixed and ready to be picked up! I was pleasantly surprised as I was not expecting to hear from him so soon. I drove back to Wethersfield, to picked up the PC, spoke with Jose, who explained what the issue was and went home, where I hooked it up and it's working perfectly! Thanks to Jose for his speedy and courteous service. I will recommend PC Warehouse to all of my friends! read more

I was facing disaster - loss of all of my files- but a friend recommended PC Warehouse and they were tremendous. It took time but they had patience with my lack of IT sophistication, compassion for my plight and the knowledge to address my problem. It took a couple of hours and trying multiple avenues but they were able to identify the source of the dreaded blue screens and provide a fix. All with a smile and no making me feel ignorant or incompetent. I will be forever grateful AND be sure to back up everything! went in there for a black screen problem. told me he'll look into it and see what the issues is, couples hours later and called me to come pick it up and show what the problem was and did a few patch ups on my pc. would highly recommend to others for similar problems. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I brought my laptop in for for repair task bar was broken). The owner called me 4 hours later and stated that it was fixed (I was so happy at first). He charged me $80 and told me " I put a little glue so be careful with it- got home and tried to use it, had the same problem. I brought it back to the store and the owner stated " I fixed the problem, this is another problem." I was left with a broken laptop and $80 less in my pocket. read more

My 7-year old HP Envy laptop was running very slow. Jose checked it out and saw that the processor was still good, and saw my hard drive was nearly full and operating system updates were way behind. Rather than try to sell me a laptop, Jose installed a new 2 terabyte SSD drive and updated Windows 10. However, after picking it up and trying it for a few days, it was running slow again. Jose told me just bring it back in. He then proceeded to trouble shoot which wound up being a very tricky and time-consuming situation until he found out the problem. The hard drive was defective, which is very rare. He got a new one for me, spent another few weeks testing it to make sure everything was up to speed, and fixed what wound up being a difficult problem. The cost was reasonable, and Jose did all the extra work on warranty, which was very honorable and rare these days. I can highly recommend PC Warehouse. read more

I purchased a MacBook Pro that was refurbished from PC Warehouse. The unit stopped working after about 5 minutes. They wouldn't return it, and come to find out they used scotch tape to fix this unit. I will never go back to this establishment again. The owner doesn't have the ability to work on Macs himself, but his employees are very good. Exceptional staff and service. The only reason I didn't rate them 5 stars is because some of the product they use as OEM replacements are cheap and I end up having to replace it again (such as a power cord). José is definitely a skilled computer technician and he has gone above and beyond for me in terms of repairs. He's an excellent source of knowledge and the rest of the staff are very friendly. I came in for a broken screen on my laptop. I was immediately helped by a young girl named Lulu. She fixed my screen right in front of me and had it finished in less than 20 minutes. The customer service was pristine and the price was more reasonable than the other shops I called. I appreciate that they didn't force a diagnostic on me like a lot of other shops do and was more than happy with the service. read more

I had an issue with an iPhone charging port. I thought I needed to have the port replaced, but they saw that the problem was not as serious. They fixed it fast and charged a very fair price. They are honest and good at what they do--excellent service. read more

PC Warehouse owner Robert mistreats customers - I do not recommend this place unless you are desperate to fix something AND are willing to be ripped off. Here's what happened to me: PC Warehouse replaced my cracked iphone 6 screen with a faulty one. When I asked for a refund, they told me to sue them for it. They refused to refund me the full amount -- screen plus labor -- if I handed over the faulty iphone screen. They refused to refund ANY part of the amount if I kept it. They claimed no one else complained about the screen, but also said that their supplier only provides them with faulty screens. Seems pretty unlikely that both are true. Selling faulty iPhone screens at full price is bad business. I won't be going back to PC Warehouse and neither should you. read more

Do not come here for computer repair under any conditions. I generally prefer to help support local businesses, and I wanted a virus scan/diagnostic run. Their prices were listed as reasonable on their website, so in I went. I dropped off my laptop on Tuesday night, and even though it was a simple item, I was given Friday as a timeline: longer than I would have liked, but I can deal with it. Friday came and I had not heard from them at around 5 pm, so I called them. I get connected to the laptop tech, explain what the computer was in for, the tech prevaricates and tells me the scan is currently being run and it should be ready the next day. Irritating, but I can deal with it. I call Saturday at 1:30, get connected with the tech, and he tells me it is in process but the work order didn't say it was supposed to be done that day, but would get back to me when it was done. At this point I'm starting to get a bit concerned about them from a competency perspective as I have not heard that there was anything wrong, but have no choice as they have the machine. On Sunday, the tech from Saturday followed up like he said he would, point in his favor. He was also honest: he said there were no viruses or any other issues found, but the prior tech had deleted my firewall (without requesting permission or even touching base), and due to the way the firewall works he may need to reinstall Windows. Fast forward to Thursday (in for a week and two days), and I get a call stating that it is finished and ready for pickup. I come in, and am told that there were no viruses, it should be good to go, they changed a setting and the bill is $80. I had only requested a virus scan/diagnostic, and pointed out that their website listed that for $30: the female owner looked confused and repeated that yes, the virus scan was $80 (she had tried to state that was the minimum charge when I dropped it off and a tech had corrected her in front of me). Now, quite frankly, I don't have a problem with them charging $70 or $80 to look at a computer, but don't try to bait and switch. I pointed out what I had brought the machine in for (just the diagnostic), that they did not actually do anything for the machine, and that it took 3x as long as they said it would, and was visibly irritated: the woman then knocked $10 off (actually gave me $10 cash as she had already run my card, as I just wanted to get out of there). I get back home, and boot up the computer: doesn't connect to the internet (which it did just fine before I brought it in). I end up nuking it and bringing it back to factory spec: 1 hr total to get back to functional. It may feel stupid to pay Best Buy their rates, but at least there would be someone backing up their work with professional standards... read more

I went there on a Tuesday with my macbook pro and they had it done in 2 days. they charged me half price less then apple was going to charge me. the tech also showed me some ways to keep my laptop running smooth and fast. if i ever have another problem i will go there again and again. i recommend this place to everyone read more

I have been using PC Warehouse since it opened. They have successfully repaired the multiple issues I have had on my PC's as well as my Macs. Some of the problems they fixed were even problems that other repair places and the Apple store misdiagnosed or said were unrepairable. True, the store looks like a repair shop inside, but that's because it is a repair shop. Also, the people that work there may be a little rough around the edges, but so is my auto mechanic and my handyman. That may offend some of the more sensitive folks out there, but the bottom line is they're honest, they know what they're doing, and they do it for a reasonable price. In the end, that's what I Iook for in a computer repair shop. read more

These guys fix your computer problems in a fast efficient and cheap manner. It is definitely a shady entrance and there are towers stacked up everywhere but they fixed my problem in a few days for $50 where best buy wanted $100 just to look at it read more

We HIGHLY discourage a visit to PC Warehouse. We paid for a problem that was never fixed. The service was HORRIBLE. Lots of foul language, poor listening skills, excuses for being incompetent and insults to top it off! This was an unbelievable experience and we wanted to warn others. Don't waste your money; if it's simple enough for them to handle, it's simple enough to do yourself. The owner is rude and does not honor his time estimates.
