Buy a laptop somewhere else, very unfortunate interaction with the owner at this place. - Peeled off a sticker from my laptop brought in for a consult without permission. - Bought a refurbished machine from him, installed a different internet browser other than google chrome and the machine flipped out. - Brought back to tech to fix, tech said he fixed it, charged me, then bring it home find out it's not fixed. (Charge was refunded thankfully). - Brought in the next day to owner who spent the entire time talking over me, getting louder and louder at me intimidating me into believing that it was my fault for changing a single thing on the computer that must have messed it up. I had to tell him multiple times that I was not there to argue and that I needed the machine he sold me two days ago to be fixed, replaced, or refunded. - Only reason no 1 star is he replaced the machine with an identical one. -Then he called me "a very paranoid individual" when I asked for a receipt for the machine trade. Being a young woman and a nursing student I've dealt with my fair share of intimidating narcissists but that's not really how you run a successful business. It would have been better if he had listened to me and what the problem was without immediately jumping to "this is all your fault for changing a single thing on the machine I sold you." If you're going to buy a new laptop, just go somewhere else. read more

I had a 5 year old desktop Dell that refused to start up. Brought it in to Computer Heads and had them do a quick eval on it. Turns out a component on the motherboard was gone, not repairable. They had a nice mini tower Windows 10 (and ready for Win 11) with much faster processor and SSD. They transferred all my data over, and installed my existing 1Tb SSD into the new computer. This thing FLIES ! It had an Nvidia graphics card, plus the 2Tb of SSD's. It is so fast it's unbelievable! All this for 400 bucks... and they did it the same day I brought my dead computer in. Outstanding service, friendly people, excellent prices - I can't recommend them enough. read more

The customer service was okay, but not the work itself. I gave them a laptop to put in 2 small parts. They called me and said they are attempting to figure it out, but it didn't seem they knew exactly what they were looking for, so I even reccomended a website that gave information and videos of the parts and installation. After that, I went to pick it up after about a week, and they Informed me that the laptop no longer worked and the motherboard was fried. They then pointed to the "terms of service" saying that it's "not their fault". After purchasing a $1700 laptop and $150 worth of parts, it is all wasted and useless, and I'll have to purchase another. I do NOT reccomend ever taking anything here. read more

I was very displeased with this place, the first time I've been hooking in a liquid cooler into my machine, I was getting overheating issues I was concerned that removal of the said liquid cooler would get the coolant on my parts so afraid of mine less than Deft hands messing up my computer I took it to computer heads. When I got there the people were nice and we're dogs in the office but I thought that was cool, I left my machine they inspected it and said that it was a simple cable issue I was like oh alright then I go down pick up my computer bring it home after less than 2 hours of play I have the same heating issue. As it turns out the cable that they had plugged in was a cable I had unplugged because I was concerned with the power draw to the liquid cooler, they did not test the computer under load and this was just the start of my issues. I called them up and let them know that their repair did not fix my issue they repair they charged me $60 labor by the way to plug in a cable. They told me to replace the liquid cooler would be the best bet so I had to purchase a new one I brought them my new liquid cooler and my computer so that they could swap it out because again I didn't want to get liquid on my parts, in office they told me that because the original issue that they charge me for did not fix it they would not charge me labor to fix this current problem. Cut to having to go back down to pick up my computer, The Man Behind The Desk it said that he had done the labor and that he gets paid for that labor so they had to charge for that labor and he charged me before I could pick up my computer. It cost me $120 in labor to repair my computer. After charging me the $60 they told me I wouldn't have to pay, they asked if they asked if I would give them my old water cooler that they've removed, I was taken back by this told them know I was going to keep it which I still have now I have two of them, thing is is neither one of them works, that is more a complaint of the terrible water cooler then it is computer heads but out back burner that thought. Cut the last week where I had to remove the liquid cooler myself realize that no liquid would have leaked out in the first place, I was just too naive in the whole thing, this was the first computer I ever built myself. This process which cost me $120 for them to do once I realized that I could do it myself I finished in 25 minutes, I opted for the fan that originally came with my processor. If I could give them less than 1 star I would, if I'm ever asked I will tell everyone not to go to this place. read more

Brought my laptop in about 3 or 4 weeks ago with a note saying it needed a new DC power jack. When I hadn't heard from them for over a week, I called. Was told THEN that I had to pay for the part before they could work on it. When asked why they didn't tell me sooner, they claimed to have left a message which I never received (on any of 3 different phone numbers) but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. They sent me an email with the bill for the part which I paid that same day. That was a week ago. When I called today to ask whether the computer was ready, I was informed that they didn't have the part yet (??!! It's a pretty basic part) and didn't expect it until the middle of NEXT WEEK. Makes me wonder if they even ordered the part yet. This was a backup computer, so there was no rush until this week when my main laptop developed an issue that needs repairs beyond my ability. When I said, I had another computer, but I would need it fixed much faster than this one and if they can't do that, I'd have to go elsewhere, he said, "okay." Nice attitude if you want to establish a loyal customer base. Must have more work than they can handle. P.S. I had another laptop with a "not charging" issue which I brought in a while back. I was told it couldn't be fixed, but I could buy a nice used laptop for $200. Probably should have known better this time. read more

I brought my computer to Computer Heads and I was very happy and extremely satisfied with their service. They fixed my computer literally overnight and it's working like it's brand new again. I would highly recommend them to any one that's having a problem with their computer or their laptop very knowledgeable and very nice people. It was taking me hours to try to install windows 10 on my old PC I haven't touched in years (multiple freezes and all that). After about 10 hours of troubleshooting and failing myself, I brought it to them on a friends recommendation and they installed it in 30 minutes, no problems, at a great price. They do everything from software upgrades, hardware upgrades, and repairs in store. They also have a selection of cheaper refurbished computers they've fixed up themselves for sale. I plan to go to them later on this year for some upgrades and I am recommending them to friends who want to build gaming computers. read more

Desperate, I brought my constantly recalcitrant computer there one morning, expecting a wait of several days, an horrific fee for repairs, or (gulp) the need for a replacement. I went in thinking I would have to spend $150 to replace my laptops power jack, but they checked and found out I just had a busted adapter, then sold me a new one for $15! Very friendly people work here, and a couple friendly dogs roam around the store. read more
