Dropped off my dad's truck in December 2024, picked it up in JUNE 2025!!!His excuse for not getting the work done on time, and/or correctly, was that the INSURANCE ordered the wrong parts and ordered them at the time frame that the insurance went by. Confirmed with the insurance via email that they did not in fact order any parts, and only approved an invoice. When we forwarded the information to Ground Zero garage, he stood his ground and said that one, he did not order the parts the insurance did. That the insurance had sent me the incorrect approved invoice/estimate and sent the one he claims was approved which was significantly different and brushed me off by saying "YOU dont know ANYTHING about insurance." After months of calling for updates with wither no answer, no call returned, we had to show up in person for any "real" updates. Jerry would tell us "for sure on Friday" and we would show up on Friday and NO WORK HAD BEEN DONE. He had us like this for about 3-4 weeks, until I started taking time off of work to go in between the time frames and her would get UPSET when we aske "what HAS been done?" to the point where he AND his employee started telling us that if we did not stop asking for updates they would retaliate by simply not working on the truck and letting it sit there. He gave us the option of taking the truck AS IS- with NO WORK DONE AND NO REFUND Or just let him get to it when he gets to it. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. One of the days, we checked in the truck was sitting outside by the street, unlocked, with the windows down FULL OF DUST/DIRT ALL INSIDE THE VEHICLE. His reasoning "its just dust." Completely unprofessional and does this with multiple cilents as when we would go there were other people also looking for updates, with no results. When we finally were able to pick up the vehicle, sooo many things were wrong- the lettering LITERALLY fell off as we were standing there. Dents and scratches that were not there, he claimed he did not do. There are still parts that are incorrect to the vehicle, including the wrong bumper installed, the key hole for the handle on the tailgate does not work with the key, the muffler was cut incorrectly (instead of replaced), and the paint from where he did the paint job has begun to peel off. As of today, he has continued to ignore our phone calls. If or when my dad goes to the shop, they continue to tell him he is not there. He claimed he should have received the correct bumper and keyhole already, but has not called us and will not answer any of our calls. We did report his garage to the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) and they confirmed HE DOES NOT HAVE A COLLISION LICENSE AND IS COMMITTING INSURANCE FRAUD.
