This was the first dental office I picked on my own with my new insurance, and I was honestly stressed about the whole process - finding a good provider, understanding coverage, and hoping it would be a positive experience. From the very first visit, I felt completely at ease. The front office staff are incredibly welcoming, kind, and organized. They helped explain everything clearly and made the coordination with my insurance completely painless. My hygienist is fantastic - super friendly, and always makes thoughtful conversation throughout the cleaning. Dr. Mohsen is also kind, professional, and explains things clearly without ever making you feel rushed or overwhelmed. You can tell the whole team genuinely cares about their patients. I always leave feeling happier than when I walked in, which is not something I ever thought I'd say about going to the dentist! And the little goody bag with dental supplies after the visit is such a thoughtful touch. I've mainly gone for routine care so far, but I'll definitely be coming back for any additional services I need in the future. I personally am NOT good at the dentist, I have a hard time, and they're all so patient and calm with me. They are super accommodating to those who have issues (modifying how they go about filling a cavity for me without risking quality). I personally have a bone to pick with dentists who are very patronizing when they realize it's been a while since you've been there or make you feel bad about the state of your dental health. Not everyone can even afford to go! This is NOT the case here!!! They are truly understanding and never make me feel bad. Only encourage good habits and don't make a big deal out of it when you have a cavity. In terms of the front desk. They are SO wonderful. They walk me through pricing and give me all the numbers I need. They also work directly with insurance and are overall extremely helpful. One of the hygienists actually remembered so many things about me (I had met her once and it had been a year and a half since!) I was shocked! Truly the best place to go. She convinced me that I had to have these X-Rays done for $400 and after the appointment told me to get molds from them. They have not provided that and she has not given me any documentation as to the condition of my teeth. I don't even have a receipt that I had X-Rays done there. She asked her assistant to check on us every 5 minutes or so to make sure we were doing OK. Then, the tech who worked there wheeled my four-year-old into the office and while I was bending down to pick up a tissue off the floor (so I had my back to him) walked out of the room without telling me. My son was loopy and tried to get out of the wheelchair and stand up , and fell and hit his face/head on the floor!! He was screaming, and I was trying to console him so couldn't leave. No one came and checked on us for 25 minutes. Eventually I had to put my son back in the wheelchair, open the door and ask someone at the desk to have the assistant come in so I can talk with her. When she came in, and I told her what had happened, she just kind of brushed it off. A few minutes later, Dr. Jan came in to check on him, and although she was a little bit more attentive, I do feel she underplayed the situation as well. She asked her assistant to go get him an ice pack, and that was it. The person who let my kid fall out of the chair, never came in to say anything. I don't know how you let a four year-old fall out of a chair and hit his face and think it's OK, but it's NOT OKAY with me and I want other parents to be aware.
