I went to his store and he showed me what he thought I would want, again based on just our phone call and he was on point. He then came to schedule a home visit to measure it and then it was installed. The installers were professional, on time and did a fantastic job. The best part is that it was completely affordable. The entire experience was truly very enjoyable because I truly trusted them from the beginning. Thank you Luke and team for a really great job. It's almost like we have a new home. I had water damage to one of my room upstairs due to a radiator leak. I wasn't sure if we needed to do just the 1 room or the whole upstairs since the wood is all connected. When I had spoken to him on the phone he said there may be a slightly different color if we do just the one room. So before he came out, I asked if he can get us both quotes. He came out when I wasn't home but my wife was. He didn't measure anything. Look at the room where the damage was and left. He didn't look at the rest of the upstairs. I didn't get a message for him so I texted him. He gave me a quote for the one room. I asked, do you have a quote for how much it would be for the whole upstairs. He said he didn't look at the other room upstairs. I described the size of the other room upstairs and he texted back with a quote. I asked if you can send me in writing the 2 quotes. He said he has to charge me $150 for the quotes. Then I said, "What? Why?" He never responded. Just in case he didn't see it, I text him again the next day. He didn't respond again. Extremely disappointed with him and his lack of response.

MISSING ITEMS and VIDEO CAUGHT WORKER GOING THROUGH POSSESSIONS! We agreed to his asking price and…read morehired John Blessing Flooring to install new flooring and refinish our floors. NEVER EVER AGAIN! The first attempt by his workers resulted in over 100 blotches in the floor (see photos). We demanded his return and his crews came back and redid the floors, but this time areas were missed and in other areas the polyurethane was not spread out and it dried to clumps. We asked John over the course of 3 months to come back and make corrections. Every excuse was given and then he stopped responding. While the floors were being worked on (before we moved in), we had moved some expensive tools and equipment into a room on a different floor and on the opposite side of our house. Afterwards we noticed that 2 tools were missing. Coincidently, our security cameras captured John Blessing workers going through our refrigerator and freezer taking items out. We also found a length of wood veneer used by his workers to make a transition from the existing floor to where the new flooring meets in the same far away room where the tools were stored and there was no reason at all to be in that part of the house. Could there be a link between workers being caught on camera going through possessions and the missing items? I brought this to Johns attention and he said his workers would never do this, even though the camera does not lie and leaving flooring materials behind were tools went missing begs to differ. Lastly, there is a lump under the vinyl plank flooring in the kitchen floor. The video also showed the worker noticing this and rather than making corrections, they proceeded to keep applying the floor and left the lump in place. We were robbed in many ways and we caution anyone from using this company. There are dozens of other companies that you can use. Please learn from our experience.

The crew that arrived on day one were professional, considerate and careful with our things and the crew remained the same over the course of the job. They remembered where every stick of furniture had been and returned every piece to it's place upon completion of the job 4 days later. The crew cleaned up their work area every night and returned my kitchen to a usable state before leaving for the day. The actual painting was flawless Jonathan the crew captain would ask a question for clarification on a couple of color changes and executed the changes with out need for further discussion, they completed stages 1 &2 and I will have no hesitation to bring Brush House back for stages 3 &4. I felt comfortable enough to leave the crew in my house working while I ran errands upon my return it was obvious that they had spent the entire time I was gone working on the project given the amount of forward movement they had made. The company's pricing was fair and competitive I can't say enough about how pleased I am with every part of the job. I can't say enough about Buono's…read more I had heard good things about the company from other folks in my building, as well as on Yelp, and from the first moment I requested a quote through Yelp, Lou Buono was responsive, courteous, and an actual pleasure to communicate with. If you've worked with a lot of folks in the trades, this is very much the exception to the rule, and as such I was pleasantly surprised. Lou quickly got back to me with a very reasonable quote, and once we agreed on the details and a date, we were off and running. We had some damage and discoloration on our white oak floors, and we wanted to sand and refinish them. Lou was helpful as we got together the paperwork my building required to get it done. On the agreed upon day, his guys showed up on time, and while they weren't the excellent communicators that he is (their English wasn't great), they were conscientious and obviously knew what they were doing. Lou said the work would take 1-2 days, and they were done in just a day. We had a minor hiccup after the fact, but Lou immediately investigated the issue, and handled it well.
