We wanted Slow romantic music but we didn't want our event to be boring so he did his magic and mixed it up so well. We had also picked Latin romantic songs and he mixed those in perfectly. The only service we used from Complete was the DJ. We had Gavin and he was great! He set up very self-sufficiently. Gavin was very professional and fun - he went with the flow of our event. When people started dancing he got the cue and started playing more upbeat and fun music! He even turned on a dance light. We had a great time! read more

During our wedding planning my now husband and I did some research before choosing Complete Music for our big day (Oct. 27th, 2012). They were on a preferred vendors list that was provided by our venue, Kindred Oaks. I called and talked to Jordann. She was very helpful getting us started and explained to us how everything worked. The website is easy to use. You get to choose music from there list or you can provide a CD or MP3 with music of your choice. We had a New Orleans/Puertorrican themed wedding. Our music list was all over the place. Once we got closer to our wedding, Matthew the DJ who handled our ceremony and reception called us and went through our web page from there website. Knowing that he was on the same page as we were made us feel more at ease. On top of having a great DJ we also added for a small price a photo booth. All our guests loved it and so did we. Such a great idea. Our wedding went amazing and smooth. Our DJ worked really well with the venue and our time-line. I would highly recommend Complete Music for any event. I was so fortunate to have the best DJ-Joey Hartfield, DJ for me at my wedding. He did an amazing job, and I couldn't have asked for a better DJ than Joey. Before I booked Complete Wedding & Events, I did a thorough research on the best DJ I could find, and Joey's name kept popping up on the reviews. I made a special request to have him DJ my event. He did a wonderful job, and he got the crowd dancing all night until the very end. He was courteous, professional, and polite. He contacted me before the event, and he introduced himself to me. He answered any questions I had, and he spoke to me to me in regards to what kind of music I would like to have played at the event. Complete Weddings & Events lets you manage a playlist, and provide details on what kind of music/ genre you like. Joey exceeded my expectations, and I'm so grateful to have him & Complete Wedding & Events DJing my event. My wedding was perfect, and they were a big part of how great my event turned out to be. Complete Music was great to work with! My venue, Vista West Ranch, assigned them to me a couple of months before our wedding. I was immediately contacted and asked to fill out a form that had me to list all of the important songs that I wanted them to play- from the processional, to the first dance to the cake cutting, etc. It really helped me figure out exactly what we wanted them to play during those important moments. As it got closer to our wedding we were contacted by our actual DJ Joey. He followed up on the form that I had previously filled out and asked me to go over the other type of music that I wanted him to play. Since I couldn't decide exactly which songs I wanted him to play he asked me to send him a list of songs/artists that we loved and had me break it down into songs to play before the ceremony, during the cocktail hour, during dinner and then for dancing. We were very happy with the way our music turned out. Joey did a great job of reading the crowd!!! The only thing that went wrong was our officiant's microphone was a little scratchy during the ceremony. I would suggest if that happens in the future to just turn the microphone off versus keeping it on and having the scratchy noise continue. Joey and Complete Music would wonderful for us to work with! I would highly recommend working with them if you are looking for a DJ who is flexible and willing to tailor your music to exactly what you want! Let's face it, a DJ is probably the most important wedding reception vendor you will pick. A great DJ has the ability (and skill) to set the desired tone for the entire reception. We were extremely lucky to find Johnny Murphy of Complete Music to be our DJ, and we couldn't have been happier with the results. We only had a few specific requirements for the wedding ceremony music, and Johnny nailed each one with absolute precision. We left the music choices for the reception pretty wide open, only giving general parameters for the overall genres and style. Johnny took that and ran with it, keeping the dance floor occupied all night. He has a great demeanor, and was able to work well with our wedding coordinator to maintain the timeline. In short, he did a fantastic job in all respects and we would whole heartedly recommend him for your special occasion! read more

Complete Music & Video was amazing to work with! Tara was so helpful in choosing songs to play and those to omit. I had a hard time describing the overall feel we wanted at the wedding and somehow through all my rambling she managed to pick songs that portrayed it exactly. She was energetic and got people out on the dance floor, but wasn't at all overbearing like some DJs can be. A few ice-breakers throughout the night helped keep things going and the rest of the time it was a great mix between newer and older dance songs. They also did my ceremony music and did a fantastic job fading things in and out and timing them perfectly. I have absolutely no complaints about Complete Music and would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

I did not get to select my DJ - they were included in the rental of Vista West Ranch - but I would choose Complete all over again. A few months prior, Complete reached out to explain how everything worked. There was a very organized website I used to fill out our information, and a long list of songs to choose from. CJ was our DJ and he was fantastic. He called more than once to go over details, songs, pronunciations and more. Every special song we selected was correct, and every pronunciation was spot on. He made the evening fun without putting on a show himself. He communicated with us throughout the event with questions about certain songs. It was perfect! read more

I loved my DJ and my Video. We still watch the cinematic video at least once a week after 6 months. Each person at Complete Music and Video was easy to get a hold of, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I was relieved to let them take care of everything, so we could enjoy our wedding day. I had Bryan from Complete Music as the DJ at my wedding and it was great! I was very nervous about picking a DJ, and I couldn't be happier with having Bryan. He played the correct songs at the correct times, and I had given him a list of my favorite songs to throw in throughout the night and he did it perfectly, mixing them in with songs he chose to create a great flow to the evening. He also was great about keeping the night moving with the timeline of events (toasts, cake cutting, etc), and I liked that he would make sure I was ready for the next event in case I had wanted to grab something or in case someone important was out of the room at that moment. We chose Complete for both the DJ and photobooth services at our wedding. Complete has a great reputation in the wedding community and it is easy to see why. We met with Tristan to DJ our wedding after hearing great reviews about his work and we connected with him instantly. Tristan is very knowledgeable, professional, and laid-back just like we are. He gave great input into music selections and told us what he found helpful in the past. He is great at both MC'ing and reading the crowd...it is quite the talent when you can have such a diverse group of people at a wedding. He helped create fun and beautiful moments. One in particular was when he got people out of their seats to form a circle and sway while my husband and I danced in the center. Beautiful! The photobooth service was also awesome! Nicki was both professional and helpful. I was impressed she was able to get a copy of everyone's pictures and get them to comment on a page that was then bonded to create a book for us to take home that night. A USB with the pictures was also given to us which I thought was a great idea. Sooooo happy we booked with Complete. read more

I will not waste my time and energy filling out an entire review for this company. However, I will say that even though I had a terrible experience, the DJ we were "assigned" was extremely sweet and generous enough to let us play our own music off of our phones (no point in even having a DJ). All of our ceremony songs were wrong. As a matter of fact, only one song played throughout the walk downs and bridal song. We were lied to about what time they'd arrive at our venue, we didn't have the additional DJ we requested (bilingual). He just completely flaked and didn't show up, then wouldn't answer our calls. I sent emails, texts, phone calls, until finally we had to go through Facebook to get in touch with ANYONE about our upcoming wedding. I could go on, but this is enough. Not sure why Jesse is no longer with them, but I would have paid extra money to have him! I would never use them again or recommend. read more
