I have always been intrigued by crossfit, but always too intimidated to try it. My husband and I finally decided to give it a shot. We called around to different crossfit gyms and never had anyone contact us except Savannah at crossfit complete west! She returned our email within 20 minutes and set up a time for us to come in and check it out. From the second we walked through the door, we felt welcomed and were encouraged to join in the "fun" by complete strangers who have now become some of our best friends after just 5 months. We are challenged daily, sometimes the workouts look like something I will never be able to finish, but with the amazing coaching and awesome members, I finish every single time. The coaches are EXTREMELY knowledgeable. As a physical therapist, it is encouraging to know that these coaches know the human body and proper technique and form to maximize benefit while avoiding injury. I can not say enough awesome things about crossfit complete west! I found them by signing up for their worlds best boot camp west okc program to get started on my fitness journey. I couldn't believe the differences I saw in my body and how I felt. After the boot camp I wanted to give crossfit a try because I loved all the trainers and gym members I'd met but was very nervous. It turns out I had no need to be nervous, my first class everyone was so friendly and inviting. Coach Caroline took me through every movement and made sure I had correct form. Anytime there is was a partner workout one of my friendly classmates would pair up with me and make sure I could do all the movements at a weight I felt comfortable with. Seriously, the best Crossfit gym I have ever been to. The atmosphere, the community, and the workouts are all incredible. Oh and the coaches are great! I've gone to a few crossfit gyms around the area and the coaching at those gyms don't even compare to the coaching at Crossfit Complete West. They are all warm and welcoming and at the same time they know how to hold you accountable in an encouraging way. The workouts are fun and they have a purpose. I've been to dozens of CrossFit boxes and CrossFit Complete West is hands down the best I've ever been part of. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable, good looking, and underpaid (I don't care how much they make, it's not enough!) They are constantly looking for ways to help you reach your goals, and they have the knowledge and experience to get you FROM what ever starting point you are at, TO whatever fitness level you want. Awesome gym! Don't be intimidated by the title "CrossFit"! This gym is ran by professional coaches. The workouts are programmed by well educated physical fitness experts. Workout combinations are thought out to maximize your fitness without exceeding your abilities. All movements are able to be scaled( reduced) to your personal fitness level.
