When we were dropped off at the airport, my son accidentally left his phone in the car. During our holiday party, the driver refused to transport employees to pre-approved locations--despite written confirmation at the time of booking, which I retained. The three stops were all within half a mile of each other, and the venue itself was only three miles away, making the refusal both illogical and unnecessary. The driver was abrasive with our employees, and dispatch was equally unpleasant. While I understand the driver was following instructions, his tone and handling of the situation were entirely within his control and were unprofessional. The only resolution offered was removal of the driver's tip, which failed to address the broader issue of how the situation was managed by the team as a whole. Despite this, I gave Elite another opportunity for a Yankees game outing--and unfortunately, it was another poor experience. The bus's air conditioning was not functioning on the way down in 80-degree weather, making the ride extremely uncomfortable. We arrived at the stadium hot, sweaty, and exhausted. When I followed up the next day, the manager, Chelsea, was dismissive and unwilling to take any responsibility for the malfunctioning A/C or radio, citing that the vehicle had passed inspection prior to dispatch. She also questioned why I didn't report the issue immediately when the bus arrived, which was frustrating and misplaced. We were communicating with Ricardo (our very pleasant driver) how hot it was and he said it wasn't working properly. (Note: the bus arrived @ 4pm and I emailed them at 5:30pm.) The bottom line though is that it's unclear what could have been done mid-trip to resolve a mechanical issue, and placing that burden on the customer is unreasonable. There appears to be a consistent lack of accountability across the organization. The only remedy offered in both instances was removing the driver's tip, which does not address the root problems. The fact that their only proposed resolution is to remove the driver's tip is telling of how they treat their employees. This was an opportunity to make things right, but instead reinforced my decision not to use Elite again--and to advise others to avoid them as well.

They responded with a reasonable quote. What we actually got, was entirely different. For starters, the limo was 20 minutes late for the morning pickup of the wedding party. The driver was dressed in black pants and Hawaiian shirt. The black limo was filthy - luckily, the groomsmen decided to change into their white tuxedos at the venue, otherwise, they would have been ruined. Also, there was no champagne to be found. Upon arriving at the venue, the driver informed me that he would be leaving as he had other clients to pick up. Wait!!! Am I not paying you to be here for 7 hours? How can you take other jobs when you're on MY time? He left anyway. When the reception ended and it was time for my bride and I to leave, the same black limo was nowhere to be found. I tracked down a chauffeur in a white limo, sitting in the parking lot and prayed that this nasty, dirty, covered in bird droppings limo was not ours...sadly, it was. Having no choice, we climbed into the even dirtier interior of the car, the floor and seats covered in beach sand. Bare exposed wires hanging from holes in the walls and ceilings, and newly mounted flat screen monitors. It was obvious that this limo was in mid renovation but taken out of the shop for us. To make matters worse, the was NO air conditioning!! July 9, 2022, 5:00 in the afternoon, temperature in the upper 80s to 90s and the bride and groom had to leave their wedding reception, for the 45 minute ride, in a limo with no A/C!! Once again, the driver was not tuxedoed and there was no champagne. I contacted Limousines of Connecticut to express my dissatisfaction with their service and all of the complaints listed above. They said I was quoted "basic package" instead of "wedding package," although my confirmation email CLEARLY says wedding package. They further claimed that they often subcontract private limos to accommodate their workload and can't be held accountable for those private limos and drivers. Their remedy?? How about a future discount on your next rental? How about you take that future discount and shove it!! Limousines of Connecticut ended up being the WORST part of an otherwise incredible wedding!
