I'm loving this place! The food is ALWAYS consistent. I have had the brioche baby/breakfast burrito/avocado toast. Brioche baby - SUPER tasty, with a little hint of spice. It's balanced and is my husbands go to every time. Breakfast burrito - definitely on the heavier side packed with meat but so yum! I don't always go for this option though since I like my breakfasts more on the lighter/fresh side since this FILLLLS me up & don't get hungry until like 6 hours later!! Avocado toast - ok when you look at it.. GRASSVILLE but... sooooo delish. The spouts are tasty (you might need to pick some off since can get a little empowering ) but sooo fresh. In general they use very very fresh ingredients and I need to ask them where they source their bread from since it's never stale/melts in your mouth! Love this place, I'm from Sacramento & wish we had something like this over there for easy bites/fresh coffee! Cute little boutique coffee shop that I've visited every morning this week. They offer up tasty coffee beverage options with a decent lineup of in house prepared syrups. I have tried their banana, Thai Tea and lavender lattes and ask have been delish. They have breakfast options and a cute pastry case stocked with treats to choose from. A small local coffee shop with a great patio! I have been visiting this location since its opening and it's a must stop when in Tulare. The staff are always friendly and exceptional, making the experience even better. Although they have a smaller menu compared to their Visalia location. It's a perfect breakfast spot for smaller groups. My recent visit was composed of coffee and a pastry. The Thai tea latte was delicious with mild notes of Thai tea and a creamy texture. I recommend the hot version as opposed to the iced, trust me! We also ordered their Chai tea latte, hot. Warm spices and creamy velvety texture make this a superior drink. Perfect for the unexpected windy cold weather. The almond croissant was unassuming and unexpected. Warmed upon request, it helped melt the almond paste inside the pastry and crisped the exterior of the croissant. It was delicious. I tried the matcha at Component Coffee in Fresno before and enjoyed it, so I was excited to see a Tulare location since it's a bit closer to me. Got the matcha latte with oat milk and half simple syrup sweetener at this location and was unfortunately disappointed. It just tasted like milk, which was not the experience I had at Fresno. Service was good though! And the shop is cute. I just wished the matcha was stronger, or maybe they needed to add more since it was supposedly premium ceremonial grade matcha. read more

Lovely experience! We arrived right when they when they opened so it was quiet & clean. They share a patio with a Mexican restaurant with some outdoor games and books. This particular location (of three) is in a newer building. The other ones are located in a downtown with more spunk. This one is nicely decorated. We were driving up north so we stopped at Tulare & Fresno. Tulare (this location) by far had a better, more hearty savory food menu and wish we had more food during our visit. The most consistent cup of coffee every time. It's so good! I've only tried the coffee here but I have never been disappointed. Other coffee shops will have a good coffee one day, then the next time not so great. I've never had that here. The vanilla latte is a classic go to and it's absolutely delicious. Love, love, love! The outside seating area is great, especially during a cool morning. The service here is nice, friendly staff. They are quick at preparing the drinks. The pop tart and vegan, gluten-free, Double Chocolate Chip muffin (not pictured) are so so delicious! I recommended. 10/10. The few hours I was here reading, it did get busy and noisy at times, but it was overall great! I took a star off for lack of sugar free options for the coffee. Maybe add sugar free vanilla for those that don't want full sugar from the regular one. I ordered a flash brew with oat milk and honey. It was YUMMY! I was in town visiting and this place caught my eye. I got the special "Toasted Almond Late" and it was like drinking an almond croissant. It was not too sweet and delicious. Needed a breakfast bite during a roadtrip and was quite impressed with Component. While the breakfast menu isn't extensive, they all seem to be solid choices. We went with the Component Plate and Bagel Sando. Both filling and tasted like fresh ingredients. I do wish the potatoes were crispier. For drinks we got the lemonade and decaf vanilla latte. The lemonade was the perfect amount of sweet, sour and sugar... just perfection. The latte had almost a maple flavor to it that I wasn't a huge fan of. There were plenty of seating and tables outside, so may not be an optimal choice for the chilly season, BUT they do have heaters! Which was perfect because our pup tagged along with us. The place to order is a bit small but straightforward. The menu is very legible and easy to navigate. The workers are very friendly and very helpful. Big fan here. Even though we have one in tower district now I still prefer Visalia and now this location in Tulare. One reason is that because they have the fully equipped kitchen that can cook up some yummy breakfasts as opposed to Fresno. Their breakfast burrito alone will bring you back time and time again! They make really unique home made donuts too here if you got that sweet tooth. This time, ordered a big breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, potatoes and fruit. It kept me nice and full for my shopping trip across the street at the outlets. Lattes are a fan fave but I just get the black iced coffee (flash brew) it never disappoints. If you have a donut addiction you can't control, I advise you to avoid this place. To be honest, I haven't tried one (requiring massive self-control), but they have the most amazing looking donuts you're going to find anywhere. They are almost like mini bundt cakes, liberally coated with frosting and sometimes a garnish. If you can get past the donut case, though, the limited but varied menu will entice you. I had the avocado toast, and it was spectacular. It's got a little kick, with generous avocado slices and perfectly crisped French-type bread. My companion's acai bowl also looked amazing, with peanut butter, oat cereal, two huge scoops of acai, and slices of banana and apple. My large latte was done to perfection. The ambience is bright and white, a flip from the usual moody vibe of coffee spots. It's centrally located in Tulare, near the Prosperity exit of the 99 and the Tulare outlets. The sweet iced coffee was good, and the staff were super friendly, but their food needs some work. They salted and peppered my eggs in my component breakfast which I think should have been served completely plain, and the potatoes were hard and had a strange seasoning I didn't like. And the chocolate croissant I bought was not even a proper croissant. There were no layers, like there wasn't even any lamination or maybe the butter melted when they were making it so it just ended up a stodgy, dense, bread dough. Delicious coffee - may be the best drip coffee that I've had ever! Component reminds me much of Urth Caffe in L.A. Component's sweet latte is deliciously sweet (perfection!) & I appreciate that it is served with 2 espresso shots. The breakfast bagel, burrito and acai bowl are all equally satisfying and delicious. It's a fun place with a nice atmosphere and attentive customer service. I am missing a star in my review only because every time we've visited, we have to ask for the table to be cleaned prior to sitting down. In fairness, it is a busy place in the morning and may be difficult for the team to keep up with cleaning tables. Other than that, it's a great place to enjoy good food & coffee! read more
