Since I travel to Louisville with moderate frequency, it's no problem to have a doc there. Wait time for new patients was 2 weeks, below average of other places I called. The main thing is that Dr Gilberts took her time and didn't rush me out. We had engaging conversation and she easily established trust. It was frankly the first time I did NOT feel like another faceless copayment. I felt human and like she genuinely cared about the outcome of my health. Needless to say I highly recommend Dr Gilberts and I am excited to have finally located a doctor that understands me. All other neurotic hypochondriac entrepreneurs and professionals will feel right at home, just like me :)

I very seldom have to wait much longer than my appointment time, and Dr. Spalding never makes me feel rushed. He makes sure that all of my concerns are addressed and my questions are answered. No doubt that I'll have to redo all of my tests at another office, just to receive an informed, truthful result. What a nightmare-level interaction. In addition, only half of the staff was wearing masks inside. I overheard Melissa LaMaster say, "You have to wear a mask and face shield when someone is within 6 feet." When I left, she wasn't wearing any face covering. Funny, because that's in direct violation of current state mandate.

I have a condition that means I must get my blood checked every 2 weeks to a month to make sure I'm ok. His staff knows me and knows what I usually need every time I come in. Upon my first visit he listened to my concerns and perform the tests I requested to figure out some issues I was having. He agreed and ran the tests to confirm what I thought was wrong and treated me accordingly. I appreciate his willingness yo go that extra mile for me and my husband! I would recommend him to anyone that is interested in taking responsibility for their health care and willing to work at getting healthy!
