I tried Compton Pizza for the first time and I guess it's true what they say, California knows pizza. This place is straight out of Compton (reference to that one movie about Ice Cube). Usually I go with traditional wings, but I tried the boneless and they're dynamite, very crispy and just down right excellent. If you're trying to impress some friends or a complete stranger, I'd show up with some of these pizzas and you will win them over. This place is a pillar of the community. read more

We live just outside of CompTin's delivery area but wanted to try them out so we ordered a medium mushroom pizza and BBQ wings through DoorDash. Pleasantly surprised! This is the type of pizza we used to enjoy before the chains ate up the market. Our dasher must not have a pizza bag, so I won't CompTin for a lukewarm pie, but their wing game is strong! Wings stayed hot and fresh in the plastic container, and the house-made bleu cheese dressing was chef's kiss great. All in all, very nice. Saw a $15 for $30 deal online so figured I'd give it a shot. It's very bare bones inside and there were only 2nguys working when I stopped for my order. 6 garlic knots, 9 wings, a side of fries and a 20 ounce soda was $35. It was pretty meh. About a 13 minute drive home and fries were a soggy mess so into the air fryer, they were ok . For the wings we got the house sauce which was a spicy sweet and sour and was a bit cloying. Last up were the garlic knots which were actually swirls which I thought was great till I saw the burnt bottoms. Didn't care for the sauce that came with them either, very thin. Food: the meatball pizza was just ok.. Based on the 2 overly charred pizzas on display for slices, we asked for a light bake and the crust is actually very good. And came out nicely baked. (I highly recommend asking for a light bake.) Overall taste of the pizza was bland though....I think they just use crushed tomatoes straight out of a can for pizza sauce. It was thin and flavorless. The garlic "knots" are comical....they aren't knots at all....three tiny 2" diameter pinwheels of pizza dough without a hint of garlic or Parmesan and more flavorless crushed tomatoes from a can. The cooler was empty of everything but water and pure life tea. "Sorry we're out of everything". Fountain drinks were 80% out as well....so waters all around I guess. Ambiance: needs a ton of work. 3 Tables were filthy, windows were filthy, restrooms were filthy. Not excited to go back for sure. Service: strange....they don't bother to have any menus printed or posted anywhere so you're forced to pull up their online menu on your phone to figure out what you want. What a PITA In general, much better pizza and garlic knots can be found elsewhere. read more

We randomly ordered a pizza here on a Saturday night. It's very convenient location to home. We weren't sure what to expect since we ordered the Grandma's Sicilian. We definitely have our go to pizza places in the area, but this one is going to be added to our list. Crust was thick and doughy. Definitely more like a Detroit pizza vs western NY. We were looking forward to trying this new pizza place in Fairport. It did not disappoint. The pepperoni pizza and meatball sub were delicious. Pizza has a nice chewy crust. Not too thin. Not too thick. Upon inspection of the meatball sub I was a little skeptical of the lack of red sauce and no mozzarella...really?!?! It's a new place so live and learn. The meatballs were good. Next time I'll add mozzarella. A little more red sauce would have been good. On the positive side it wasn't a messy sub. A toasted roll would be a nice touch. It was a good bread with a nice texture for the sub. The sub did require a reheat upon arriving home. Ordered online. After the fact, I noticed some of the prices higher online than the printed menu. Paying cash will get you a 3% discount. No tables inside. No delivery (it seems like at least at this time.) The store front has been refreshed since the prior pizza places. More inviting. Clean. I think this will be a great addition to the Fairport pizza options. We'll be regulars as long as the quality continues. read more

The Grandma style Sicilian pizza is heavenly! Thick crust with a crunchy bottom. Their regular pizza is also great!

Ordered online for a 4:15 pick up. Food was ready exactly at 4:15. Medium pepperoni pizza & wings with provisions sauce (crispy). Pizza was cooked perfectly and the crust was delicious. The wings ordered crispy had an amazing crunch to them. Provision sauce was sweet with a tiny bit of heat. The blue cheese portion was in a large plastic cup which is great compared to receiving the tiny ones. Staff was friendly. We will definitely be ordering from here again! read more

Stopped in to the Smoke shop next door then seen CompTin Pizza and based on their Yelp rating stopped in for a slice and the server was very cool and funny and had a slice each of their pies. We just ate here - just had pizza and order of 3 garlic knots. Knots were tiny pinwheel shaped, taste was good but they were small. Had pizza it was good. The business itself needs a lot of cleaning up. It was very hot inside, only 3 tables and they were filthy, the man behind counter was evidently feeling sick - which makes one nervous these days. Pizza was very dry it did not have enough sauce. We requested light bake but it had many dark spots all over it. And it arrived with some of the slices flipped over which caused cheese to slide off. Very disappointing!!!! read more

Twice I've tried to order their Sicilian pizza and was informed both times that they were out of stock. These attempts were weeks apart. I have eaten at Compane lots of times and enjoyed my meals; unfortunately, this pizza was nothing like the pizza I have had at their restaurant. The crust on the CompTin pizza was chewy and overall the pizza lacked flavor. The location was also far from the original restaurants. Rochester has lots of options for pizza, sadly this will not be one that we add to our list. read more
