So when notifying Rumpke about being unhappy with the fee they cancelled my whole payment and said mail in payment. Of course they could have just refunded the fee and took the payment. So now they will have to deal with the mail delay TA DA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also notified my city mayor & clerk to let citizens know. Not sure why a large company uses a process the charges this fee.

Just watched the driver pick up my container and leave the mattress and box springs. Called Rumpke immediately and instead of sending the driver back they are now scheduling a separate pick up 24 to 48 hours later. This presents a terrible look for me in the Tara Plantation Pointe community. Just another example of a lousy company with bad communication and a lack of concern for customer service.

I don't remember the girls name that answered the phone when my husband and I called but she was absolutely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. Our concern was SIMPLE. We simply wanted to know when our Recycle Bin would be returned back to us since it was taken from us last week WITHOUT an explanation. We were told last week after the Recycle Bin was taken that we would have it back THIS week which would be TODAY and it was NOT brought back to us. The girl on the phone was acting CHILDISH as if we were asking for a Million bucks and not our recycle bin. I don't know what type of training Rumpke provide their employees but if their not able to COMMUNICATE then they simply DO NOT need to be working in their customer service department. I would never recommend this business. I bought a dump truck load of their terra mix and nothing…read morewill grow in this mix. I dug out raised beds by hand, my wife used this and all the pots that she puts flowers out on our deck in our front porch and some other areas and nothing will grow in this dirt. That has been confirmed by my local co-op of the university of Kentucky and Hefner themselves found that the pH was way too high on this mix that they sold me. Justin who runs the place offered to give me my money back and give me some dirt to put on top of it. Well, the problem is I've already got stuff growing in it that I've been fertilizing the hell out of trying to get some tomatoes and other produce. I told him honestly that's not enough comp because I've got to dig out all these beds and he told me he was offended that I said that. I told him to go somewhere and it wasn't nice. I don't care this guy does not know how to take care of customers I've been in sales for 25 years. This is a damn joke and I will never even consider them and I will badmouth them as much as I possibly can to other people. Do not use them. They don't care and there is no quality control. In fact when I got this dump load of terra mix, there was big rocks, including pieces of granite countertops in the mix. I told him off and I'm sure he's not gonna send me my check so I guess it is what it is. Stay away from these guys. My plants that are growing in clay are doing better than their terra mix. I'm seriously disappointed in this company! They bragged they've been in business for 100 years but I've been around a lot of companies and usually the second or third generation runs it in the ground and I can guarantee you that is what Justin is doing to this company.
