Due to dropping my phone multiple times, my phone screen on my iPhone 8+ was completely shot. Took my phone to CompuMax, where two gentlemen worked to repair it-- and it only took one hour! Not only was my phone fixed quickly, and at an affordable rate-- my phone lost NO data! They were able to save everything, from photos to contacts. They did an awesome job! Don't shop at this store!! They sold me an iphone that was LATER reported stolen. Instead of replacing it or refunding my money, the owner said the phone EIN did not match any phone he had ever carried or sold, and accused my of trying to scam him, which was not true and provable. Best Case Scenario - he accidentally bought and resold a phone that was later reported stolen, has inaccurate recordkeeping practices, and doesn't stand behind his products. Worst case - he knowingly committed fraud. Either way, I paid him $339.95 for a phone that can't be used. Check his eBay Feedback (aqueousaviator) - he sold someone else a phone that could not be activated a couple weeks after I bought mine, and he would not help that customer either! My guess? I love compumax. I've been buying used laptops and getting computer services from them since they were laptop liquidators in a tiny house in Chapin. The owner and his wife are very friendly. The tech is always great too! And who doesnt love Jake? My son loves playing with him! Anytime I've ever had a problem (it was definitely user error) and they fixed it. Many times it was something so simple they did not even charge. When they did charge i know it was reasonable bc I asked around. I've referred many people to them and they are now repeat customers as well. I feel compumax is reasonable with prices, friendly, and I love that they are local! I don't know why only one negative review is listed on here when I scrolled and clicked and found several wonderful reviews for them! Looks like many of us Chapinites are big fans! read more

Wouldn't recommend. Straight up and honest it's unprofessional with your parts and items all over the store. Long wait times that weren't agreed upon and so long I didn't even get my full consultation before picking up my pc because I was told 1-2 days. Ended up 2 weeks before it got so sketchy I had to go get it. There are better places to take your time and money. read more
