Just wanted to share my experience…read more 1. Call the local number ahead of time. The 1-800 number is a trap, you wait for over 1 hour on hold, and then they can't help you anyways. The local folks know exactly what can be done (their services have been scaled back because of budget cuts), and if you need an appointment or a walk in is okay. If an appointment, might be ~6 weeks out because of backlog, be prepared. 2. 4 separate people will ask you why you're visiting, be super clear in what you need + if you have an appointment or were told you didn't have to make one. 3. Listen carefully for the numbers being called. Their PA system is super mid, and depending on who is calling the number from what window, it might not be clear. Lol everyone in the waiting room banded together to try discern what's being said. "You got that ticket number?" "Think it was this, who caught the window number?" 4. The employees are short staffed, but very empathetic + helpful. You just have to work together with them, have your id + documents ready for when it's your turn and they ask for stuff. Thanks to the guy that helped me (think AF vet?), got what I needed to file taxes for my mom who recently passed.

I got receipt of my application, instructions in case my card doesn't come in 2 weeks, number to call. Card came in within 2 week mark so I can begin my next steps to changing my last name. Unusual thing is because…read morethis branch is at Pearlridge Center which opens at 10 a.m. you must wait for the dmv employee to come up so the security guard can open the doors. The employee checks you off on his clipboard, make sure you have your appointment confirmation code. Once you go down a floor head to their office at far left. You will be checked for your id and application. Somehow I missed the part about filling in an application so I was given one and proceeded forward but filled in the form first before taking a seat. Luckily it was just a duplicate drivers license I needed since the lamination on mine was peeling off from one top edge. My number was called to window 2 and I had the nicest young man. I told him I no longer needed glasses as a restriction since I had both eyes cataract surgeries. He asked if I wanted to take the eye test. Yes! I passed. Bring your check made out to City and County of Honolulu for $6. Next you move over two windows to your left, get fingers scanned then get your photo retaken. Hooray! At the earliest your plastic license will be mailed to you in 2 weeks. You get a cool temporary license with your photo and information on it. Only catch is you cannot travel with a temporary license. Fortunately I can travel using my passport as ID when I travel internationally. In and out in half an hour. So glad the employee I had was so pleasant, and smiled.

PRICE: $$$ You won't find better ticket deals for Disney than military promo tickets and anyone with a military identification card can purchase 6 tickets at the promo price per year per park --Disneyland/Disneyworld. Paid $319 for 3 day Park Hopper pass for Disneyland. SWAG/AMENITIES: -Event and theme park tickets -Equipment rental STAFF & EXPERIENCE: Had a little wait when we came in, and signed up on the guest list. Once our name was called, we were greeted politely and questioned about our needs. We were informed of the deals on the Disneyland tickets and were able to purchase and secure them right on the spot they told us how to use the tickets. It's not the same as the old days where you just show up with a ticket handed to the person and you're through. I recommend for any military members or dependence trying to get tickets for Disney or universal.

It's a bit of a walk past the gates, past baggage claim, near the international section of the terminal to get to the Airport Animal Quarantine Holding Facility. Thankfully, there is a shuttle that gets you pretty close (and then can just go to baggage claim after). And more importantly, and the reason why I am even doing this review, is because of the amazing and helpful staff who met us and the other animals from the plane at our arrival gate and took us through the whole process, showed the best locations for our animals to relieve themselves, and much much more. They made the chaotic first time experience extremely smooth. So thank you, Francis. The Hawaiian process to bring an animal here may seem daunting, stressful, and pricy. But they are doing their part to keep the island rabies free. Also, unlike many other places, while the requirements list is long and complicated, their website is extremely clear and easy to follow. Yes, you'll have to do multiple trips to your vet, do various very specific testing, procure documents and get original signatures (no scans or copies), but at least it wasn't convoluted and unclear. It can be a lengthy process but it's for a good cause and most importantly, the final step was made smoother and made the overall experience great having Francis assist us on the final leg of the journey.

At 9 am the door to the building is still locked while people are still lining up others left in disgust. I asked a lady who was going into the building if tsa is even located in there she said there's a sign on the door you can call. Then she looked and said nope they took it down. Mind you this is a real location, but the one on richards st (1 block away) is way better, I was in and out in 15. There are also locations in Office Depot/max. Some guy in line said he came last week and after two hours they told him computers slow come back next week, only to stand in line to an unopened building. One guy had the phone number to the office and no one answered. It's now Monday and I wonder how long did they wait only to have to go back home. What could they do better? Not make Saturday appointments if the office is closed. If they are open but no one is showing let the hoard of people know versus letting them wait outside for hours. Communicate if computers slow after 15 minutes tell everyone it's up to them if they want to stay but it's slow. Check if the first website that turns up is legit or if there's a glitch with doling out Saturday appointments vs choosing, cuz why is it you can choose a time on the second site listing? Something is def amiss.
