Driver texting while driving me. Went down a bumpy street on purpose ( I was hit by car so have very bad back pain). Tried to get him to pull over so I can call police. He didn't stop. And 911 put me on hold. They didn't call me back at least in Los Angels, California they call back.... read more

ComTrans was the business tasked with picking up my daughter after school from our home to take to her afterschool program. Today they picked her up at a strange time. She was supposed to have been picked up at 4pm 3 days a week and here they show up when I'm not home at 2pm. My wife asked the driver why he was there so early, he said he didn't know, but that our kid was apparently scheduled to be picked up at 2. We figured if she was supposed to be picked up early, she'd be dropped off early too. When that didn't happen, we called ComTrans to find out what happened. FIVE times we called, FIVE times after the automated system gave us an option, whatever option we picked would result in the phone hanging up. I had to resort to driving to the afterschool program, who ALSO couldn't tell me why they picked her up early, and this lack of communication between business and parents made it so I can no longer trust A New Leaf OR ComTrans with my kid. Avoid these horrible people like the plague. I do NOT like the lack of communication options they have. Half the time they showed up late anyhow. Most of the time ComTrans would show up at 4:30 instead of 4pm anyhow. Horrible service, horrible people, please die out, you have NO business carting around kids and old folks. read more

For four years I put up with horrible service from Yellow Cab and Veyo and Discount! Not on time ,didn't show, so many times .. THEY COULDNT FOLLOW THEIR OWN GPS..drivers who didn't have a clue as to how to transport an elderly man with a walker.. then Finally we got COMTRANS THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL in every sense! They actually answer their phones, they give no excuses and they call if they are running late. Whoever runs this outfit is an excellent Manager. Everyone that I have spoken with serves their customer. Kudos to ComTrans !!! read more

My insurance company used this service for my transpiration to and from my medical procedure. On the way there the driver consistently drove between 55 and 60 mph on a 45mph surface street. The car was filthy. The nurse ordered a car for my trip home and was told no cars were available when they knew I would be returning home. I drive for Lyft and Uber and would never, I repeat, NEVER drive over the speed limit with a passenger in my car, let alone a medical transport passenger. If my insurance has no other service they can provide I will choose and pay for my own transportation next time. read more

The worst experience with this company. We were driving and one of their drivers was driving too fast and almost hit us. He got next to our car, put down his window and began to call my mother names. My mom then responded in Spanish and he responded with "shut the f*** up and learn English." He then began using more profanity and racial slurs. We were told that it would take up to an hour to be picked back up from a dr. appointment. After an hour, I called to see what the problem was. The dispatcher told me that we will be taken off of Will Call. It took me five minutes trying to explain to her that we were taken off an hour ago and that someone should have been here to pick us up by now. After being placed on hold, she comes back on the line saying that a few drivers called off. We've been waiting an hour and forty-five minutes now. I know someone screwed up and did not take us off Will Call the first time so we could have been home. read more

Com Trans drivers are horrible. The scheduling is horrible. My grandchildren are transported for visits with their mother twice a week. The visit starts at 5 but most of the time, they are picked up after 5 or not at all. when I called to complain, the blame was shifted from the worker to the driver to DCS. No one apologized for the trauma caused to me or my grandchild. I called tonight to complain that this happened twice this week. Zerena, the customer service rep, was rude and hung up on me when I asked for her last name. DCS chose this company. I wouldn't have them transport my dog if I had the choice. read more

0 Stars for a horrible company! My foster daughter gets picked up and dropped off at my house every morning at 615 and night at 515 but on more than one occasion they have been early or late. One afternoon they dropped her off at my work a whole hour before I am scheduled to leave and said they didn't realize what time it was because the driver had been up since 415 a.m. So my poor little 1 year old had to sit at my work for over an hour. One morning they tried to pick up my daughter at 545 a.m. I explained to the drive that they were over 1/2 hour early and that the daycare wouldn't even be open yet. I made the driver sit outside until the correct time of pick up. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING I SHOULD MENTION IS THAT THEY DESTROY PERSONAL PROPERTY AND WON'T INVESTIGATE THE SITUATION! One of their drivers hit my well head with their car and when I called them to report it I was given the run around. I had called 3 times the first week and then 2 times the second week before I finally had someone talk to me. The person that finally talked to me is one of their supervisors and he handled the whole situation rudely and unprofessionally. He told me that I would have to file a claim with their insurance carrier and they probably wouldn't pay for it because I had no proof. I then stated that one of their secretaries, in his office, told me that every car had a camera and that I would need to give them time to look over the footage for each vehicle that had been to my house in that 2 week period but they would get back to me and let me know. He said that he didn't have time for that and rudely pointed me back to their insurance company. I would not recommend this company to anyone and I would advise anyone who is contracted through them to re-bid the contract and go with another company that might be able to meet the requirements of their customers without damaging the lives and personal property of others. read more

If you are looking for work, you might want to look elsewhere. I list experiences here and not opinion. If you are hired on full-time for a shift, i.e.; 1 pm to 9:30 pm they don't tell you in the initial interview that you are not paid for all 8.5 hours if you do not have assignments throughout the whole 8.5 hours, They call this "downtime" and will not pay you for this. Essentially, a full-time 40 hour schedule can quickly turn into getting paid for only 30 hours. So much for making $10 an hour. They also do not pay for the half hour lunch, even though you are required to answer your radio for service calls during this time and have to drop you meal if you are called out. Fact # 2; They conveniently forget to tell you that even though you are hired for evenings, they have all training during early morning hours for a whole week and a half, so if you go to school during the day or work a day job, this is another issue. They also charge you for your uniforms and nickel and dime you for damage to the vehicle that the company deems is your fault regardless if it is or isn't. A 40 hour week at this place = about 30-32 hours and a total of $260 weekly or $520 bi-weekly after taxes. What a joke. Work as a cabbie and you can make more with less hassle. They also have so many supervisors and managers to micro manage you and ding you on your check rather than having a more positive environment and higher paying wages to the regular drivers. One supervisor has a horrible attitude; "Dusty" was very confrontational towards me on my first day of training thinking that I was a customer and not a staff. Stay far away folks. read more
