Friendly staff. They seem to work hard and the provider I saw was friendly, smart and efficient. Will return if needed in the future.

I read with interest the reviews from patients who had adverse experiences, some similar to mine,…read moreand saw that they were referred to a patient representative with an offer to hear concerns. In my experience, this route goes nowhere. I have gone through the proper channels to raise concerns that represent systemic issues at Anschutz, with no answer, no response, or a call from someone saying she would "look into it" and call me back in a day or two. Never heard from her again. My time there is past, and I will never return for care, after my long wait for a second opinion elsewhere who actually treated me, after my documented neurological deterioration went unaddressed at Anschutz. However, my continuing concern lies with other patients there who are subject to the same systemic practices that I was, including, but not limited to: copy forward errors throughout my chart which misled downstream clinicians, lacking fund of medical knowledge among attendings and fellows - fellows who served as gatekeepers for care denial based on lack of knowledge, claims of accreditation yet operating against published directions by the accrediting agency without explanation or documentation, refusal to answer patient questions, non-escalation of treatment in a patient known to be worsening, dismissiveness/minimization, and worst of all, records falsification. Nurses, MA's, and front desk staff were always kind and responsive. The physicians I encountered, as a group in one particular department (Neurology) were not. What is allowed will continue, so: Knowing that systemic issues have been identified by more than one patient, are you willing to address them seriously, or simply continue to refer patients to a number or email that goes unanswered? Thank you for your kind attention to this matter. Edit: from your response below, you have confirmed that you're not interested in permitting patients to make contact in order that their concerns be heard. Thank you. This review and other others like it have now become a cautionary tale for other patients.

Most of the food court restaurants are closed or close early on Sundays. But, there were a couple of great options still open. I grabbed Ethiopian at Natoli and my partner got Asian Fusion at Urban Burma. The Konta FirFir was awesome and a huge portion, easily big enough for 2. The doctor even flagged my mothers chart. My mother was scared and very upset. As her daughter responsible for her I was scared to death. What I wasn't understanding was my mother was still fairly independent and fairly sharp cognitive. When the doctor flagged my mother's chart that's when I told my mother she was done with Kaiser. The doctor didn't want to listen to how my mother said she was feeling which I found to be disrespectful. My mother just went to her new doctor ( my doctor) not a Kaiser doctor for her annual checkup, had a cognitive evaluation and was given a clean bill of health. The doctor said cognitively she was normal for 86 years old and that one of her medications can slow the cognitive circuits a little and she was in good shape. The Kaiser doctor never said anything about this medication being able to slow the cognitive circuits a little. We both feel such a sense of relief. I feel I saved her level of independence and quality of life she has.

I've been a Kaiser Permanente member since birth and generally have had positive experiences, but…read moremy recent visit left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. For the past few days, I've been dealing with typical viral cold symptoms that escalated to include a persistent cough, chest pain, shortness of breath, throat irritation, nasal congestion, bloody discharge, and a severe headache that turned into a migraine. Concerned about these symptoms, I tested twice for COVID-19--both negative. After my chest pain worsened, my friends and family urged me to seek urgent care. At urgent care, I explained my symptoms and received a strep, flu, and another COVID test--again, all negative. Despite feeling like there might be an underlying issue causing my symptoms to worsen, I was given a breathing treatment, prescribed an inhaler, and sent on my way, feeling like I had wasted both time and money. After following the care plan to the letter with no improvement, I made an appointment to see my Primary Care Physician (PCP). Instead, I was met by a nurse, Ms. Roberta Owens, at the East Denver Clinic on August 26th. I arrived slightly late, feeling absolutely miserable, and received a call while checking in, warning that my appointment would be canceled if I didn't check in within 10 minutes of the scheduled time. Already struggling to speak due to my symptoms, this added stress was not helpful. Ms. Owens quickly took my vitals and started asking pre-questions. From the start, our exchange felt defensive and combative. I was coughing so severely that it interrupted my speech, yet she continued to push the conversation. There were no tissues in the exam room when I asked for one, adding to my discomfort. I expressed my main concerns--particularly the intense sinus pressure and headaches--and suggested that I might need a referral to an ENT specialist. Instead, she ordered a chest X-ray, which unsurprisingly came back clear. Back in the exam room, Ms. Owens reiterated that what I had was likely just a cold, dismissing my concerns. While I understand that sometimes immediate medical remedies aren't possible, compassion and kindness can go a long way. Unfortunately, Ms. Owens seemed dismissive and didn't listen to understand my concerns. Her demeanor left me feeling emotionally drained on top of already feeling physically unwell. This experience was a stark contrast to the quality of care I've come to expect from Kaiser. I hope that future interactions will be more attentive and empathetic.

It is on Sable, on the East (right) side of the street when headed North. This was before you got to 6th Avenue. It is a large building shared with many other businesses. The hours are posted on the door. When I got there, their computer system was down too, which made looking up records difficult. Nevertheless, we got the appointment completed. You do still need to wear a mask per business rules. There is a lot of seating in the lobby and lots of stations to talk to intake. I can see this place can be very busy. The people were very kind and helpful. We joked about my high bp and that I needed a few minutes to 'calm down' before taking it. Turned out magnificent! They even gave me a better 'card' for next time. I plan to return as they are actually closer than the Brighton clinic. Plus, the ladies were a delight to chat with.
