Horrible! Waited 5 hours to be seen!! Never in my life. Ridiculous!! They have too many contracts with businesses to handle!!

This has been the worst experience I've had at this location. I'm not sure if the long wait times are intentional during the holidays, but it was extremely frustrating. There was no one in front of me, and I arrived at 5:30 p.m. for a simple fit test. I wasn't seen until 6:27 p.m. I understand it's the day after Thanksgiving, but the lack of urgency was disappointing. I observed four staff members working, yet patients were not being brought in efficiently. After being called to the back, I still waited an additional 20 minutes. I do want to acknowledge that the medical assistant who performed my fit test was prompt, professional, and efficient. read more

Why are the folks so angry about this walk-in clinic?? I had THE BEST experience & it happens to be next to my nail salon!!! Not the fanciest of outside venue facades, but this place is CLEAN, KIND & my specific Dr was amazing!! Front desk asked me initial questions & I filled out my paperwork! I was in for THE WORST HIP/LEG pain. After a few x-rays & conversations it came down to arthritis & a bone spur. OMG- the people that arrived after me & went in before me- stop getting mad! They are in for required drug tests- uniformed employees coming in. They may also have an appointment you don't know about. Walk-in's are seen when time allows & what your emerg is. Don't judge- they have a system! You will be seen!!! Relax, watch TV in the lobby & breath! They WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU!! Around from the old Gwinnett Medical Ctr / now Northside Gwinnett is the location, in a sm shopping center where Cue BBQ & Sho Gun is. All good, folks! This Concentra is HORRIBLE!!!! The wait time is absolutely ridiculous. The staff here shows no urgency. They don't smile, they aren't personable, and there's no real organization to the process. I PROMISE I will NOT return to this location. I'd rather drive downtown to the one on Spring street than to EVER return to this location. The 1st time I came, they said the wait time would be 2-hours. I ended up being here for 4 hours. This time, they told me 30 to 40 mins. I now here for an hour, yet 2 people that have walked in the door have already been called to the back. I'm literally only here for a TB skin test (just a requirement for my new employers.). read more

Went in for a pre-employment physical and drug screen. The lady at the desk informed me it would be a 2-1/2hr wait, after I've already been sitting there for an hour and 20min. I informed her that no one ever said that to me when I checked in. I asked if I could get my paperwork and come back at a later time, she then told me I was about to be called next. The only saving grace was the staff was friendly. Service could have been a lot better, and quicker. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone who respects their time. With the amount of cackling and play around the office, you would expect the staff to exhibit that energy toward the patrons. From the dry greeting, to the quoted 2 1/2 hour time given to accept being seen, to the sassy vaccine nurse who couldn't realize how unprofessional she was until she was working in dead silence, I can't seem to understand why in the world did it take extremely long? If I had to come back here, I would much rather run through the pits of hell with gasoline drawers on and a piece of raw buffalo meat attached to my bottom while being chased by a lion. There is no such thing as good customer service, or professional etiquette, or respect for one's time, other than the staffs. If there was a way to give this place a half a star, I would. Going on three hours for something that should take less than 45 minutes. They need a refresher course in time management and soft skills. Came in for a TB reading and waited two hours and a half. I noticed they were letting in people that came after me and asked how much longer. Only to find out they lost my chart and completely forgot about it until I pointed it out. They have extremely long wait times. read more

Although there was an extensive wait (3.5 hrs) for a physical and drug screen, with some added tests, the staff did what they could do. The shortage of staff due to COVID, was a major player. Shane and Danien were on top on the game, and the doctor was extremely pleasant. The new norm is long waits and short staff due to the COVID concerns, so really can't blame staff. read more

Seems like I probably have the same issue as most. Came in and had an extremely long wait time as I watched people who came in after me go in before me. I could understand if they urgently needed help but they seemed fine watching tv for 20 minutes. The Dr was also rude and it didn't seem like he cared about my diagnosis. I got the feeling like I was one more box on a list of his to check off. I explained the pain and difficulty that came with lifting heavy stuff in my job. Then he prescribed Tylenol and tried to send me away. At this point I was annoyed bc he clearly didn't care if I got better. So I had to basically argue with him to write a side note that I couldn't lift heavy objects. Go somewhere else if this isn't work related and can be helped. read more

Service is beyond poor!!!! The ladies at the desk have major attitude like you are the reason they have a 2-3 hour wait. When checking in they are not telling people it's a long wait until you go up and ask what's taking so long. People are being called to the back and they arrive after you!!! Horrible experience with this location. After waiting outside than inside the lobby, I was brought to a room and was told it will be about 30-40 minutes. I had arrived at the facility for 60 minutes already. All I required was a 2-minute exam but understand a first come first serve policy. After an hour and 5 minutes, I went outside of the room to find someone and several other people were in the hall all asking each other what was going on here? All waiting more than an hour in the exam room and more than 2 hours since arrival. Not exactly "urgent care". We were told to return to the inside of the exam room and shut the door for compliance reasons or go to the waiting room, and someone would be by to update us. Finally, an employee stopped in and stated 6-7 people are ahead of me and they only have one doctor and it could be an hour or more even. First of all, why is that my or any patient's issue when they are supposed to have 2 or 3 docs on? Why lied to about the wait? 30-40 minutes was nowhere near realistic and that was already an hour after arrival? Looking at least 3 to 4 hours which is absurd. Seems just like a way to get people in to make sure they can charge. No sense of empathy, or urgency whatsoever, wasting people's time and lack of communication. If I ran my business this way I would have no business! read more

I've never been to a clinic as unprofessional as this one. Communication over the phone is just as bad as in person. The attitudes of those there are truly despicable. Not to mention, ridiculous wait times which may be the only variable out of their control. Seek medical attention and employee physicals elsewhere. read more

I just feel the place needs a better and more efficient system to manage everything because, like most people who reviewed, I had to wait 4 hours for a physical exam that took less than 10 minutes. I went to Concentra this morning because of a possible broken foot. I very much liked that this location opened at 7:30. I was the second person in today and got in and out in one hour. The front desk person, the nurse, the X-ray tech and the doctor could not have been nicer and more helpful. I felt completely taken care of and all of my questions and concerns were answered. Thankfully nothing was broken! I don't normally use an urgent care facility but I would absolutely use this location again should the need arise. read more

Ive been here, in the room waiting to be seen for 2 hours now. Meanwhile, i hear the staff giggling and carrying on about somebody making fresh vanilla ice cream in the breakroom and cookies in the toaster oven. Finally a nurse came in to ask how I was...um pregnant and nauseous throwing up in a bucket while y'all play around. Her reason is they are busy but there have been 4 different patients come and go in the room next to me within two hours so... If i didn't have to come here for workers compensation I would not be here and I do not recommend. read more

Went in for a drug screening and the first day I was told that they had no staff to do it so I would have to come back another day, so I came back the next morning and sat in the waiting room for 1hour and 30 mins because my papers were misplaced. The staff was extremely nice, but there is no clear sense of leadership at this facility. read more

I was really worried that they wouldn't take me, because I got to the location about 20-30 minutes before closing on a Friday night to take a drug test for my employer. However, the people at the front desk greeted me with a smile and gave me all the necessary paperwork. Because I arrived so close to closing, there was no waiting in line! After waiting a few minutes in the lobby for them to take me in, I was able to get in and out within 10 minutes of completing paperwork. Peed in a cup and left. Very hassle-free. read more

This place is horrible. I came there for a workmen's compensation case for a back injury and I can barley walk without assistance and I can't sit down without my legs losing feeling and turning purple. When the doctor wrote my work excuse, she wrote that I need to return back to work for my full shift which is 12 hours . I need to sit 50% of the time. Keep in mind I can't sit without excessive pain and numbness in my legs. She wrote I could lift 10 pounds. All of this when I had to have someone hold me up while I was standing up for my evaluation. I couldn't sit down in the waiting room long enough to wait for a room but they won't me to sit down at work for 6 hours and stand for the other 6 ... when you call the manager , she claims that the doctor said I need to try and work and that her medical decision is what the doctor note says. What a blaming idiot for a doctor. Don't go here!!! read more

I have been waiting for a pre-employment physical for over 2 hours and I'm still waiting. The reception lady Lia is very rude. She doesn't even give you a chance to talk and just throws paperwork at you. She even gave me the wrong paperwork until another coworker noticed that I'm doing a physical for Northside Hospital. If you can, choose another location save yourself time and do so. This is unprofessional and ridiculous. Now I'm at 3 hours and still waiting. read more

This is got to be the worst place to do a drug screening. I have done many screenings before but none has been this ridiculous.

My visit was horrible. It took 3 1/2 hours for me to finally see a doctor. My nurse didn't do everything so the doctor would leave and make her do little tests on me. I waited for them to tell me they had no idea what was going on with me. The doctor, Sateesh Devagupthapu was also very rude. Commenting on my acne more than once, asking if it was a rash. I'm trying to explain my symptoms to which he summarized as muscle pain! Told me that if a problem persist to go to the hospital. Not sure why they took me is to pay and not TRY to figure out what I had! read more

Came here for a school drug screening at the end of a long day. Everyone I encountered working here had a smile on their face. It was a pleasant surprise to be talked to respectfully and joyfully when they've been working all day and I'm sure they're tired. This is a busy place, with all kinds of people, but the staff here certainly knows how to treat people. If I ever need another drug screening I will for sure come back to this location. read more
