I was sent here from my employer for a work related injury. Dr Wolfe was great and he carefully checked my injury. He determined I needed rest for a few weeks so I am seeing him on a weekly basis. I wanted to return sooner but he assured me that returning to work too soon would only delay the healing process. The staff are professional and kind and the facility is clean. Have visited this office a few times since injury, wait time is always excessive. was told you didn't have to wait in line if you have a appt after standing in line for 40 mins with a boot on my foot, just come to counter. Did just that next appt. Person at counter wouldn't even make eye contact with me..waited about 5 mins instead when she could have said " hello, will be right with you ". Not !! Didn't ask me until she got good and ready. Also reacted the same before ..Once I signed in I sat for an hour, got called to the back and sat additional 1/2 hr. I see a different doc every visit. This one never introduced herself. Said hello and then proceeded to ask me a bunch of questions " why was I there, in a boot mind you..how was pain, how was I getting around and how did I get there today repeatedly , what !!! what specialist was I seeing and she responded "who"..after giving his name. that let me know she didn't read my chart.. Going forward it felt like an interrogation instead of a doc visit. Her professionalism was very off and her speaking very frank. Also , it was very insulting because everyone is not a scammer and she should not be in the business of stereotyping folks in any way ! I would much rather be un injured than broken up, I hope any future visits going forward aren't with her , What a pistol. read more

I had D.O.T. Physical for my CDL. After being seen by the doctor, he told me that I needed forms completed by 2 different specialists that I've been seeing. That took about a week for them to complete. I promptly returned these forms in person. When I took them there, I was told the doctor that I saw wouldn't be in until the next day. I returned then and was told by the doctor that I needed a stress test that was less than 2 years old. When I provided proof of that test. I was told by the staff that the doctor was busy and would phone me when he was available. He never did. Staff also told me that I would probably have to pay for a whole new physical because I had failed the initial physical? What a scam. I did everything that they asked for, jumping through hoops, and this how they treat you. I do not recommend these Quacks at all. read more

Ok soooo I had to go in for a drug test. Work related ofcourse. The lines were long and super slow. Crowded. Ugh. Riiiiiight? But to my surprise I learned I could register from the comfort of my own truck. I was in my truck for about two hours. Not to bad considering I got to watch the clouds. Listen to music go through emails somewhat clean my truck and get a little sun take random pics. So they called me to let me know I was next. Than a call to come in. Staff were awesome. I noticed most weren't wearing masks except staff they were all masked. Sooooo I put on my creepy mask and went in. I think my get up made folks nervous. Lol in the wack it was Clean. The nurse was awesome. I'd definitely recommend. But bring your mask and phone charger as you'll be there a bit. read more

Showed up at 9am for a pre-employment drug screening. Waiting room full of flies. Waited in line to put my name in the book. Was told it would be a two hour wait. Tried to use the Keurig to make a cup of coffee and it spit out three dead bugs with my coffee. Four and a half hours later they call me back. I then wait another hour to be actually seen. This is the location in the Drexel medicine building. Parking is $20 for over an hour closeby. Im currently sitting in the lobby waiting over 2 hours past my fiancés appointment time that he showed up to almost 40 mins early for. The girl at the front waited until his actual appointment time to give him a clipboard with several sheets to fill out and then they called him back about 45 mins later. I have had the displeasure of hearing the second worker up front speak down to an older African American gentleman for not having a cell phone with him and needing help to work the iPad. He was really sweet and just kept saying he's not very good with technology and she was extremely nasty back and kept speaking to him like he was stupid. My fiancé was sent here by his job for a physical and drug test, so he didn't have an option, but if you have an option of where to go I would steer clear of this place. They aren't providing any actual medical care, and things like drug tests should be an in an out quick process, so I can't tell you what on Earth would cause them to be so backed up. I've been to quest and other similar places in the suburbs and never had to wait like this and certainly not had to deal with such rude staff. Asked me about the job I haven't even started yet and I was very unsure what to say, but gave him what I thought was the right answer, and he acted like I was stupid or something. I'm at the Philadelphia southampton rd uc and the Dr's walk around awhile doing nothing and then take their time to see patients. The 3hour wait is wholly Illegitimate and I haven't eaten in hours and they make you start your wait all over again if you leave to refresh yourself. If the wait is over an hour for anyone, they should have food and beverages to accommodate. As a health facility, they should know about these needs and be prepared to care for them if they intend to exasperate them.​ read more

This place is the worst. The wait times here are ridiculous. 2-3 hours to be called to get a pre employee physical done. They want everyone to sit and wait in their cars for hours. If u don't have a car stand outside rain or shine. 4-5 ppl working behind the counter talking amongst themselves. Flirting with patients. Doing everything but servicing the customers. I don't understand why this place is so slow. They have no sense of urgency no cares in the world. I tried to get seen here twice. I had to go here because my employer wanted us to get a TB test. My first experience here was awful. I went at 2:45 pm only for a lady to tell me to sign in have a seat. At 3:30 pm another lady at front desk asks what I'm hear for I go on to tell her and she tells me I wasn't checked in yet. Are you serious??? Obviously the girls at front desk have no clue what they are doing. I no sooner get back to the exam room and the nurse is looking for a vile. They can't find one and had to call other facility in order to get one delivered on time before they close at 5pm. Mind you I been there over two hours wasting my time between lady not doing her job at front desk and medical staff not bothering to order a vile to give me test so I can provide information To my employer. Had to come here for an employee required physical and drug test. Went on-line and took the first available appointment. Showed up and was told they don't take appointments and I have to wait - this is also an urgent care center. Oh - and they cannot do drug testing bc their toilets are all broken. So I go ahead and fill out the sign in form, then try to hand it back but the 5 women behind the counter all ignore me because there is a long line of people who just showed up and are waiting to get their sign-in papers. So I go and stand at the back of the line and 10 min later I hand them my completed paper. So very inefficient. No customer service at all. The actual medical staff was very nice, but it took over 2 hours for the entire process (and only 2 minutes of that were the actual physical with the PA). Now I get the pleasure of going back again to do the drug test. Ugh! read more

I came to Concentra for a pre employment drug and blood screen...I really thought I would be there all day.... That's why arrived a half hour before they opened...to my surprise I was done in a hour and a half...but that is not why I gave a 5 star rating....they have a young woman named Chasmine to thank...she was awesome! Aside from being kind and courteous...she drew my blood and I barely felt anything! She has skills! She gave me a shot in my arm...and that was the same!!! 5 HOUR WAIT!!! DISGRACE!! Do not come to this location or business. Came in for a simple injury (only bloodwork needed) at 10:45 am and was not seen until 2:15pm by a provider. The provider then spoke verbatim CDC guidelines for an hour. Bloodwork took another 45 minutes. The entire staff is incompetent and unprofessional. I was sent here by my employer for a fit test for a job. I checked in at 1050, after an hour of waiting I left. They called me 130 to say they were now ready for me!!!!! Are u joking?! Dr swapna has me missing work going to multiple locations just for a DOT and I am a diabetic so I understand I need further paperwork, but it came to the point where my 45 days were up(which I didn't know I even had that much time) for them to tell me I have to now pay for my DOT when I Had to keep scheduling apt just to get this paperwork done when it was faxed over multiple times and I even have the receipts of the faxes, but they claim they never received it. Moral to the story make sure u keep records because they will lose your paperwork. read more

Concentra was very good. They open at 8 am which, if you're trying to hold out going to an emergency room at night, is a nice hour. I pulled up and parked right in front and was seen within 20 minutes of arriving. There's nothing fantastic about Concentra, but when you need to see a doctor in a jam, they are a really good option. read more

I field like the focus is not on the patient or the patient's health but only on the company directive of who is paying them.
