If I could give 1000 stars, I would. I'm not sure what these negative reviews are about, but here's what happened during my experience. I was at work and started having trouble breathing. I knew something wasn't right, so I went to the closest urgent care I could find. They didn't hesitate to take me back. They immediately brought me to a room where a doctor was already waiting. It turned out my heart rate was elevated, and they ended up calling an ambulance for me. While I was waiting for the ambulance, one of the staff members stayed with me the entire time, making sure I was okay and keeping me calm. And that's not all. After I was discharged from the hospital, they weren't able to arrange a ride back to the urgent care so I could get home. I called the urgent care, explained what happened, and without hesitation they arranged a ride back to their location. They even asked me to come inside so they could make sure I was doing okay before I left. The doctor took my symptoms seriously, got me the help I needed, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure I got home safely. If I ever need urgent care again, I'll gladly drive the extra 20 minutes to come here. Thank you to everyone on the team for your kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. My boyfriend injured his wrist at work and came to Concentra as soon as he could right after working (10 minutes before they closed) and they told him to leave because they were closing and to come back the next day.....I've never known any urgent care to do this. He told me they were rude in the way they said it too. I personally use Patient First for any of my urgent care needs and if I were to come in 10 minutes before they close (which most likely I'm not because Patient First closes at 8pm and NOT 5 pm, like Concentra. I don't even know how an urgent care facility can only be open during regular work hour - 8am-5pm....How are people supposed to get there in time after working for the day?) they would still give me SOME type of care. Concentra could have at least told him to put ice on it, maybe wrapped it and give some kind words, but to completely turn him around when they weren't even closed is WEIRD. The absolute worst - not sure how this place is still in existence and hasn't been decimated by multiple medical malpractice suits! Let's break it down: +the front desk: really could care less and does not consider your time; it doesn't matter whether you get there first thing in the morning or an hour into operation; your wait time will always be quoted and actually will be 2.5+ hours to be seen; there doesn't seem to be any organization, no sense of urgency, and no communication - definitely not an 'urgent care' by any means +the staff also lacks in paying attention to detail - they input your information incorrectly, as I had found that they had misspelled my name and had incorrectly input my D.O.B. - kind of makes you wonder about everything else they're lax about (which they are) +the doctors here are super dismissive and laugh off any or all of the symptoms you share; I was seen by Dr. Marco, who seemed to be nice at first, but nice doesn't cut it when you need to have a sound evaluation - he as well as another doc at another Concentra location both misdiagnosed; really, how does this even happen?! That's pretty dangerous, considering if you need a specific treatment +the physical therapists - they seem to act like they know what they're doing, but there is absolutely no communication between the doctors and the therapists - the sessions that are provided do not correlate to the (mis)diagnosis from the doctor +the times that they offer for appointments and sessions are super inconvenient, so you are forced to take leave from work You can be as vocal as you want, but you won't be heard. I actually had to ask my agency to transfer me to another Concentra location, which resulted in the exact same aggravating, frustrating, and horrible experience. The objective of this place is speedily pushing their patients through the motion of obtaining MMI. If you have the option to choose your own provider, do it - unfortunately, I was forced to stick to the Concentra panel, and, honestly, I would have rather gone rogue, pay the 100% out-of-pocket expenses on my own, than to go through these quacks. I wouldn't even trust them with properly diagnosing the common cold or for them to handle a papercut. I arrived at the facility at approximately 1:00 PM for employer-requested testing for Sunrise Senior Living Community, which included a drug screen, bloodwork, and a TB test. I did not leave until after 5:00 PM, despite the testing being routine. In addition, they were playing around, laughing, and kee-kawing. Following my visit, I was notified by my employer that the results submitted by Concentra were erroneous: * The only correct information submitted was my date of birth. * My other personal and testing information was misallocated and sent to Atlanta instead of to the correct employer. * The TB test, which was clearly listed on the paperwork provided to me by my employer, was not administered. This represents a serious service failure and a potential breach of my protected health information (PHI). As a result, my employment process has been delayed, and I am left responsible for correcting errors that originated with Concentra. I'm escalating this to the appropriate departments and agencies to rectify this. read more

We were not allowed to leave and come back or find an appointment else where. People should not be waiting 2+ hours with a full bladder. This time I came in for a TB test and am currently on my 4th hour of waiting. I could run a medical center out of my basement that would be better organized than this incompetent business. The front staff are consistently rude to EVERYONE that comes in, not providing a wait estimate or anything beyond shoving a clipboard and form in your face. If you ask for a wait time they'll tell you something ridiculous along the lines of 2 hours, which will likely be half, if not less, of your actual wait time. If you ask for any updates they'll act like you just ruined their entire year and begrudgingly find your forms in the pile of forms that they haven't even looked over yet. This place is terrible. There is typically a line every morning for people to get in. They will not allow you to make an appointment for anything. As a result, people are just sitting around waiting. The nursing staff is also not helpful or urgent despite the increased wait times. I had to do a drug test and a TB skin test I waited over an hour. But my whole appointment took less than 10 minutes. When I came back to get my TB test read. The previous nurse told me that I would just have to show the front and leave but when I got there, they said I would have to wait at least 20 minutes. She had hard time explaining things because she didn't feel like it and I was supposed to know them anyway... After waiting 90 minutes, I finally got in. Formerly worked in leadership with Prince George's County and we had a contract with Concentra but ended up sending our staff to a location in Largo and somewhere else over that way. They should be utilizing YOUR location! Your staff were friendly, engaging, punctual, and I watched their interactions with one another---they actually seemed to enjoy working with each other! This was the closest occupational health clinic designated by a third party company called EBI, and I came here with an appointment for pre-employment screen. Despite the friendliness and competence I glimpsed on the two clinical staff who handled my case, the experience at the point of front desk was appalling. - They could not care less if I had an appointment or not. They casually, and with a poker face, told me the wait time for me was "2.5-3 hours." Then why did they urge me to make an appointment in advance??? - When I called EBI for a solution and suggestions, they came back telling me that the clinic staff told here I "just got there 10 minutes ago," and THAT is why they "could not honour my appointment." For the record, no one at the front desk even responded when I told them I had an appointment. And then a blatant lie? Unacceptable practice. All in all, this particular business practice and unprofessional conduct bring down the experience, if not the business, and as a future health care leader, I find this troubling.
