This place is brutally slow. Zero urgency by staff with "paperwork". If you need care URGENTLY, do not come here.

I transferred my work injury case from AFC to Concentra today. I've heard only good things about Concentra from other coworkers, and I regret not coming to Concentra in the beginning. I had my blood drawn for RA testing, which was easy and the medical assistant(?) was fast and gentle. They set me up with PT directly after the appt, located inside the urgent care center. The whole process was very efficient. I'm honestly really impressed with my whole experience under their care today. Ron Rasis, PA, was the doctor I saw today. He *listened* to me and had honest, non-judgmental feedback, and he genuinely seemed to care. The rescheduling process is effortless--Referrals and outside appointments are made before you check out. AFC is incredibly disorganized and treated me like a burden. Concentra blew them out of the water. Please do yourself a favor and choose Concentra over AFC. I've been to all three AFC's in the area (for other injuries un-related to work) and they are all the same low quality. My partner is going to Concentra's Broadway location for a work injury as well, and he only has good things to say--basically mirroring my positive experience. 1,000% recommend these guys. read more

I went to this location and have to say I did not get seen. I would suspect the care at this location is not sub-pare due to the fact the front desk/ office personnel(s) lack the nessesary skills to be polite(in private practice and to the public) and inviting to concentra clients and business associates. The need for educated, positive attitudes regarding costumer service and professionalism is needed here especially and at most* of the Concentra locations based in the denver metro area. This location in particular drops the ball. It also seems that we have problem with workload and the wearing of multiple hats for one job, the receptionist, did not even look up from her paperwork and was intentionally condescending and patronizing, as a healthcare professional myself, I was shocked at how under-qualified, under-supervised, unprofessional and disrespectful this group is. Friendly front desk staff, clean waiting room, sweet nurses, and no higher than usual wait times since the house was packed. Everyone was hard at work to take good care of all the patients. I even saw how nice the doc was with a family that didn't speak english, warmed my heart. Good place. read more

I was here on Friday because I thought I had strep. The test came back negative so my options were a culture (that would come back in 3-5 business days) or steroids. I went with the prescribed steroids as I thought it would provide the most immediate relief. The steroids only made my throat worse and after a second opinion, it was strep. Nice people but they're moving so fast which can lead to a misdiagnosis like I had. read more

This location is closest to my house, so I come here out of convenience, but if I had another urgent care close to me, I would no longer come here. Everyone at the facility is friendly, but they are incredibly slow with 30+ minute wait times just to get back to see a nurse/doctor. At each visit, after someone sees me, I have to wait at least 20 minutes for the next person to come in. I am a nurse, so I understand how long these things take (ie: getting materials prepared for a blood draw, printing paperwork, having the doctor come see me) and it should not take this long. Maybe they are used to being relaxed about things, but I consistently am there for 1+ hours just to get a blood draw or speak to a doctor for 5 minutes, and this is not acceptable. read more

I don't normally write reviews, but I have to say I think alot of the reviews here are unfair. I get everyone's experience is different (and let's be honest nobody is having a good time at urgent Care haha), but I had a relatively good experience today. Came in with a busted knee from skiing last weekend, they quoted me around an hour wait due to a staff shortage and I was taken back after 30-45 minutes, everyone was very friendly and the doctor Ron did a great job walking me through diagnosis and a recovery plan, and his PA in training (forgot her name) was awesome doing initial tests. Overall a good experience for going to Urgent Care and would happily go back again. read more

I was nervous going in that it would take awhile to get my pre-employment drug screening done but it didn't at all! The front desk was very friendly and helpful when I asked about how long I would have to wait due to a time restriction on parking. I've been to probably 6 different Concentras in my life, and it's never been good, this place is a bit more unique in just how bad they do things. Instead of just normal half ass service that takes forever, they added some undeserved terrible customer service. This morning, somthing traumatic took place at union station and without going into personal detail, I had to be seen at an urgent clinic. The staff here was AMAZING! I was in the waiting room only a short time before I was taken back and delt with patiently and kindly. Once the doctor came in to see me, Amoli Etminani Atoosa M.D., she was better than I had hoped for. She gave me as much time that I needed and explained things to me in a way I understood. I was told by the VA that I could go there and that they were in the network. I have never been received so rudely. then after filling out paperwork I was told 2.5 hours before I could be seen for a sore throat. Then after an hour they tell me I can't be seen without a negative COVID test. lLike what? I don't carry them in my back pocket. I fired up my bike and went to the VA. I was in and out in an hour. Treated with respect that vets deserve. No COVID test needed. I'll never go to a concentra again. They suck. read more

I have used Concentra several times. I had to use it more than a few times when I thought it was a super fun idea to tear a ligament in my hand. The doctors were great, including the one who shares a name with an 80's teen heartthrob. He didn't flinch when I noticed his nametag and failed stifling a completely nerdy laugh, complete with nose snorting. He was also very nice and took good care of me. The front desk is awesome, except for one person. I learned quickly to hang up and try again later, if she answered, when I was calling to get in touch with the doctor. read more

I like having an urgent care so close to me, but every time I come in (3 times so far), I've had to wait around 1-2 hours to see anyone. It beats scheduling an appointment a month in advance and then waiting like hospitals or other clinics, but I wish it were just a bit quicker. Also, I have to fill in the forms and they have to take a copy of my drivers license and insurance form every time I come in. You'd think one time was enough. Other than that, the doctors and nurses are great and they are good about following up to ensure all is well after the appointment. read more

Had a scheduled appointment for 11:00, and waited OVER an hour to be seen no exaggeration I wasn't seen until 12:02. This is completely ridiculous, what's the point of scheduling an appointment if I have to wait an hour? After voicing my concern for the long wait to the two receptionist, the staff was just sitting around and no one was concerned with how long I had been waiting for my scheduled appointment. This was for an employment screening I had made weeks prior. I will not be recommending this company to use Concentra for screenings again and I strongly recommend you don't waste your time and come here. read more

We called ahead of time because my husband could not sit up without assistance, and he could hardly walk due to a vehicle accident. They said they didn't have a long wait line and to come on in. We waited 2 hours to even get called up, at least 3 people who had come in AFTER we had turned in all paperwork got taken back first. Most of these people had no visible injuries and didn't have issues walking. After two hours we had a nurse take us back who did a couple vitals and asked the regular questions. Once she finished a 3-minute interview/viral check, we waited another 20 minutes and counting (downloaded yelp just to write this review) to see a doctor. Once we finally saw the PA they were great but it took way too much time given the circumstances. read more

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RETALIATORY After refusing to adjust the cost for the testing that I did not request and refusing to do testing for what I had requested, I told them I would be leaving a review about my experience and would be reluctantly paying my bill. Paid my bill, in full, the same day they gave me that judgement. Now, a couple months later and I get a letter from collections....Highly uncalled for, unnecessary, and unprofessional. I came here with a head laceration that needed immediate attention, and these guys were great. They saw me quickly, cleaned me up, stitched me up, answered any questions that I had, and were great to work with the whole time. I came back six days later to have my stitches removed and had a similarly positive experience. I feel like I received quality care throughout my visits. The staff is friendly and bilingual, and the waits are relatively long (30+ min) but that can be expected for being in such a busy part of downtown. My real issue is that they make little to no effort to protect patient confidentiality in the waiting room. Staff walks into the room and freely discusses what everyone is there for when they could easily take someone back just past the lobby into a more private space. I know why four of the people in this waiting room are here: back pain, drug tests, a TB screen, and a "rash." Way too much information for other patients to be overhearing. read more

I wouldn't recommend coming here if you are any kind of time restraint. After waiting multiple hours to be seen, it took the doctor over 30 minutes to write me the prescription she said I needed. After waiting 45 minutes after being seen, a nurse came to my room and said I could leave and that they would fax my prescription to the pharmacy I said I used when the nurse checked me in. However, when I called that pharmacy and hour later, they hadn't received the fax and when I went into the pharmacy later that day, they said Concentra sent my prescription to a different pharmacy location. read more

This was my second visit & they are quick & efficient every time. I got in and out of there within 45 minutes. The doctor & staff is always friendly & answers any other questions I might have. Picked up my prescription right after at Walgreens & it was ready within 5 minutes. I will be back if I need to get better quick! read more

I needed a quick TB test and I was in and out of the office in 30 minutes. It was a walk-in. The longest portion of my time was spent filling out the paperwork. These types of places are unpredictable, as far as wait time, because it is an urgent care clinic and there's no way to predict when they'll be slammed or when they'll be empty. This is by far the best urgent care I've been to, for reviews that say it's slow or takes a long time- it's downtown Denver, what do you expect? The staff is so friendly and helpful, and the doctors I've seen are always knowledgable, and caring. This isn't just an in-and-out get your meds facility, it has the feeling of a "regular" doctors office, with the convenience of an urgent care office. I would recommend this particular office location to anyone. read more

Such a relief to get good medical care at a clean, professional-looking facility - close to my office. My employer scheduled me for an appointment (annual exam) but there was a mix up. I arrived before they even start appointments. However they still made space for me. I got right in. Plus the medical assistant drew my blood freaking quick! No pain, and she didn't have to stick me multiple times! I have small veins and usually I get stuck at least twice. She was awesome. Bottom line-- they miss-diagnosed a chip fracture for a Jones fracture and had me on crutches for a week before I could see someone component. That of course cost money, time and a lot of unnecessary stress. And then they copied my information incorrectly and are currently trying to Bill me instead of my insurance because of it. This place is clean, the staff is genuinely friendly and seem like they care and don't make you feel like just a number. As far as urgent cares go, especially in a busy city, this is incredibly impressive. I would give it five stars if it weren't for the doctor I saw. I understand that doctors are incredibly busy and that I went for something more trivial than what I'm sure they are used to seeing. Basically, I had one of those bugs that was going around that resulted in me just feeling all-around awful and it moved from my head to my chest. Having had bronchitis in the past I wanted to get it looked at. The doctor barely checked me out- eyes, nose, ears, and chest with the stethoscope, and then was gone. She wrote me a prescription for amoxicillin (or something like that) but postdated it so that I couldn't get it filled until the following saturday (I went on a Tuesday or Wednesday). She explained why she was postdating it (side effects that may not be worth it) but a coworker of mine who came down with the same thing was prescribed the same medication by her doctor the day before and felt completely normal by Thursday, while I didn't even have the option to get mine filled and finished the week feeling miserable. Additionally, she didn't tell me that this medication counteracts birth control. I have Implanon, which may not be affected by amoxicillin but after reading through some websites it looks like the studies around it are somewhat inconclusive so that was something that should have at least been mentioned and not brought up to me by a coworker (I don't get sick too often and seriously had no idea). Basically, this place is great- especially so when you consider it's an urgent care. Entire staff goes out of their way to be friendly. Everyone will make you feel especially cared about except the doctor. This also could have totally been an isolated incident but if I take the day off work and spend the extra money to go to the urgent care because I feel too sick to wait for a GP appointment PLEASE do something to make me feel better or offer some advice or attention other than "rest and drink fluids and if you still feel bad in 4 days you can have some medicing" read more

I went in with a sore throat and feeling miserable. got a positive strep test and they prescribed 3 days of an antibiotic. I was still miserable on the third day called their dr. and asked for an additional day of anti-biotics. Her response was that studies show that it should work so that she would not give another day or two of anti-biotics. When I asked what was the downside of giving me another day....she said nothing. It makes you wonder where this dr. went to med school. read more

The bottom line: Stellar service, great communication and friendly, competent staff. Earlier this week, I sliced my thumb open on a sharp chef's knife and it needed stitches. So, after a quick search on yelp for an Urgent Care place near my neighborhood, I found Concentra in LoDo. When I arrived, I was greeted by their Operations Director who asked me what I needed to be seen for and was very empathetic. She informed me the wait time would be approximately 90 minutes from sign in to walk out. She was spot on. I filled out a very short medical history (which you can print for yourself online if you have the time), gave her my insurance information and copay. Shortly after that, one of the Medical Assistants took me back, asked a few questions and informed me that it would be just a few minutes before the PA would see me. The PA came in, explained his recommended treatment and got to work, talking me through all the unpleasant parts like a pro. He was also friendly, empathetic and totally professional. Three stitches later plus 10-14 days of healing and I'll be good as new! read more

My husband went to this location to get a dot physical and a week later they are still giving him the run around. He has had no medical problems, but he is so stressed out now I worry about him. PLEASE stay away from this Concentra unless you want more problems then you went in with. read more
