Location is somewhat of a challenge to find but with a little driving around, we found it. We were greeted warmly by the receptionist at the front desk. Melissa took us straight back for Moms appointment. Melissa checked the hearing aid batteries and cleaned them for us. While we were there, she asked if I would like to have a hearing test. I decided to go ahead and do it. The test is conducted by placing you in a square cube. They insert two plugs into each ear which delivers the sounds to the ears. We started with the right ear then moved to the left. The test was completed in just a few minutes. Melissa told me I am still hearing well which made me happy. I have been to so many rock concerts in my life with no earplugs so I know my time is coming for hearing aids, just not today. I would recommend if you live in the area and are seeking professional hearing testing or purchasing hearing aids. They have some of the best ones on the market. At 11:15, I asked how much longer I would have to wait because I needed to go to work. The receptionist responded in a very arrogant and dismissive manner, simply reminding me that I had already been told about the delay. When I said I might need to reschedule, she told me she would "try to fix it." Surprisingly, about three minutes later, I was called in. I was referred for recurrent nosebleeds (epistaxis), and before the appointment I was told that if I was actively bleeding, they would not see me and I would have to go to the ER. I also have some hearing difficulty, so I sometimes speak louder than I realize. The receptionist rudely told me not to speak so loudly. When I explained that I have a hearing limitation, she did not apologize or show any understanding. I understand that medical offices can run behind, but there is no excuse for treating patients with arrogance and disrespect. The front desk sets the tone for the entire office, and this experience was extremely unprofessional.

Guess they don't want my business, so I'm taking it elsewhere. Longer version: Found this place through my insurance coverage, was able to schedule a hearing test within two weeks, went in and got it done without any issues. The tech was polite and professional but their insurance person was gone for the day, so I was told they'd contact me after the weekend. I waited a full week, then called and left a message. I called again the next week, and spoke to someone who was not friendly and did not seem at all concerned about the situation, who said the portal to look up my insurance was down and someone would call me the next day. Four days later, I went in and asked for a copy of my test results to take them somewhere that actually wants to sell me hearing aids to address the issue I came in for! When I went to get my copy, all the staff in the front office were shooting one another looks while I was waiting for my printout, which was awkward. Now it is a one hour window and I have to sit and wait while they examine my hearing aids. They used to give me four packages of batteries at a time now it is three. Not only that, three times the worker at the desk said that I need to get some new hearing aids. Why? mine are working fine. I have insurance that will pay $2000 on the aids but guess what? If I have insurance, the price goes up! Who does that? I have eyeglass insurance, they don't raise the price of the glasses. I guess when the time comes I will shopping somewhere else.
