It's kind of weird to see so many complaints about the service here. I've always been treating pretty well here. Even taking my passport photos. There was a mom with a young infant taking a passport photo on the counter on its back with the mom shaking a foil bag of snacks to get him/her at the camera. The worker was very patient and I was entertained though I had to wait. They haven't lost any packages or manhandled anything yet so I've got no complaints.

I peaked through their packages and can clearly see my packages and then finally the guy (not the manager- he did not show up anymore, hiding at the back of the store) looked again and said, "yeah your package is here. In doing research for the refill I found that Chewy Mail Order Pharmacy has excellent prices, and I always get good service and great customer service from them. The EXACT SAME MEDICINE was about $8.00 from Chewy. I called Walgreens, no mistake on their "cash price" for the medicine. No refund, no recourse. Reportedly Costco has good pet med prices as well. I understand the verbal verification is necessary. That's exactly my point. If a person has to confirm it anyway, the screen isn't replacing a step, it's adding one. The store itself is clean but dated and worn, and the parking lot is rough. The staff were fine -- this isn't on them. But between the equipment and the layout, I'll be filling my prescriptions elsewhere.

For example, today an elderly lady picked up several medications while 6 other people were waiting behind her in line. The cashier had her give out her name and date of birth three times, and the name of her doctor, and her insurance information. The pharmacist was called over for a consultation (which should have been at the "consultation counter) and went over her medical condition and how to take the medication. All of us on line were appalled that this information was being divulged so publicly, especially in these days where identity theft is so rampant. I spoke to the same pharmacist later and voiced my concern and his response was to speak more softly next time. But I made it clear conversations like his (and the cashier) should be considered confidential - period. Other than that this isn't preferred CVS and I go there all the time.
