Only $5 for adult Mecklenburg County residents per visit, there is ample parking in the lot out front. Large lockers and a basic locker room with no amenities. Bring your own lock for the lockers or store your stuff in the bleachers by the pool. Don't forget flip flops for the pool deck and showers. Pools are Olympic size and there is warm lap pool for cooling down that is less crowded. Enter through the warm pool for the HOT TUB. Easy access for my triathlon training and a good value.

I won twice and my son won once and got some pretty cool prizes. It's nice that they offer so many activities and programs. My son is taking basketball lessons here, and will be taking cooking classes next month. Residents get discounted pricing, so that makes the activities and classes very affordable.

It is fenced in to keep the little ones from possibly wandering off. The playground has a soft rubberized base. Note that the playground equipment is currently roped off and the basketball hoop has a cover. This will last through the pandemic and then this nice park will be open for business again. As a resident of the Moss Creek development, I recently signed up for access to the fitness center…read more I've been in the neighborhood for over 7 years and I've frequented the pool and clubhouse on numerous occasions. The pool is well above average when compared to other housing developments. Sometimes it's overcrowded, sometimes you're all alone. Get there early during peak season if you really want a good seat or an umbrella accompanied table. Slide, kid's pool with fountain, Olympic size lap pool....all good in my book. The clubhouse is just what you'd expect. Reserve it for a party or what have you. It's not much unlike any other community clubhouse. The fitness center was just introduced this year and residents must agree to a $100/year increase in their homeowners association dues in order to use the facility. Worth it if you will actually make use of it. It's convenient but there are limited hours of operation. They do not allow anyone under the age of 18 to use the facility and they threaten your membership if you allow any nonresidents or minors to accompany you in. Your resident card, via a magnetic chip, grants you access during their hours of operation. The facility is better that I had expected of a community fitness center. A little larger that expected with a few more machines and such. Four treadmills each with TV viewing capabilities. You can also hook your iPod into them. Several basic settings on the machines make them user friendly for newbies. The space is also equipped with weights, multifunctional weight bench, ellipticals, bicycles, etc. with a view of the large pool as you grunt through your workout. The facility also comes with access to the shared pool house restrooms. There is one shower available in the men's room if you choose to make use of it after your workout or swim. I can't speak for the ladies room. Most of the time I find myself working out alone or with just one or two others. Of course January sparks the season of resolutions and it's been a bit more crowded lately. All good and I wish everyone well in their new personal endeavors but I fully expect it to die down again soon. One thing that I think would improve the experience and perhaps encourage others to make more use of the space would be if residents were allowed to bring a guest. My sister often visits me from out of state for a week at a time and I don't see any reason why I shouldn't be able to let her join me for a gym-like workout when she's in town. Neighborhood folks may also be more inclined to workout and/or stick to their goals if they had a workout partner. What's wrong with Susie bringing her buddy from work for a little extra motivation? What if Johnny wants to bring his personal trainer to see what equipment he has to work with and to get a little advice? A limit of one guest per resident isn't unreasonable. Especially given the empty air outside of January, but that's just my opinion. We are granted guests when visiting the pool. How is the fitness center any different? Anyhow, if you live in the Moss Creek neighborhood, get off of your lazy bum and go get your workout on! You'll feel better about yourself, I promise!

Complete with high lighting towers, stadium seating, bleachers and parking. The grass field looks great. The Spinners are collegiate level in the Carolina Virginia League. These college players keep the fans coming back, including the dedicated beer-drinking, self-named "lint heads" that have their own uniform t-shirts. Special promotion nights are offered and popular with fans. There is a concession stand as well as food trucks at the ballpark. Beer and soft drinks are also for sale. I'm glad baseball is still happening, when it isn't storming. A rainout, turned double-header went into a lightening delay the afternoon I visited. When it's close to 100 degrees, summer pop up storms are to be expected. No covered seating unless you're on a team and in the dugout. Also no COVID-19 practices in place, except I did see hand sanitizer at the ticket tent and I know team and staff members have been tested. Other than that, individuals determine social distancing and not one person, including concession workers and police officers had on a mask. Ballpark has a nice scoreboard, but some areas need cleaned up (chucked out old picnic just off the field of play look junky. Thanks boys of summer!
