I purchased a certified pre owned Cx-30 this week after finding the car on a 3rd party website. It was the best deal in the state for what I was looking for. I called and asked for the out the door price with all fees and taxes included and got a text with the info within minutes. I drove almost 4 hours to the dealership the next morning to pick it up. I was impressed with the salesman, Ismale, for being so responsive and having great communication from start to finish. The price was transparent and no random fees or dealer add ons were slipped in secretly like another Bay Area Mazda dealership did to me this week. I was given the option to pay with a bank check to avoid the credit check but declined. I appreciate the dealership offering options for those who don't want the "ding" to their credit. read more

This is a nice dealership right next to the freeway. I was in the area, and spotted the Mazda logo. I wanted to get some OEM parts directly from a dealership. So I drove around the lot and found a "guest parking" area right in front. I went inside and asked the receptionist the location of their Parts Dept. She took the time to show me where it was. I rang the doorbell, and someone came out to help me. He was very careful that he had the right part. Year, engine, turbo vs non-turbo, etc. As he rang me up he noted- there's a fee for using a credit card. No fee for using a debit card. You have very thoughtful and detailed minded staff. read more

Appt at 9 am for service, waited on site which I told them. Asked at 2 pm for an ETA. Told only the diagnostic was done so far - essentially pulling the code for a CEL I already knew about. I was the only one still waiting out of a large group so I guess I was put last. Told "no worries" rather than apologizing for taking so long. Will have to wait another 2 hours for them to fix something small that is under an extended warranty and a Mazda defect. Probably won't come back. Poor customer service and no communication. I live 3 hours away which I told them and which is why I made a morning appointment. Edit: now Mazda texted me that they forgot to update my module as was required by the service. They said I had to come back because the update was necessary. After talking to corporate to try to switch to Marin Mazda, Mazda Concord then said the module doesn't need to be updated. I am skeptical. Do yourself a favor and go to Marin Mazda to get your car properly serviced. read more

Bought a 3 years car service package when bought my car. But after visiting few times found out there are always something extra to pay. the labor cost for the 30k miles service was over $1150, parts over $100. Car has no problem before getting this check up. I know it's a major service at 30k miles. But it's pricy to my opinion. Just a head up for anyone interested in the service there. read more

Misleading Listings, Terrible Customer Service I'm convinced the 5-star reviews here are fake. My experience was nothing short of bait-and-switch: Phantom Inventory: Their website showed dozens of available used cars, but when I arrived, suddenly none were on the lot ("already sold" or "at another location"). This happened with 6-7 vehicles I'd researched ahead of time. Hostile Attitude: The sales team acted annoyed that I wanted to test drive a car (you know, the bare minimum when buying a vehicle?). The guy "helping" me couldn't have cared less--no effort to find alternatives, just disinterest and excuses. Wasted Time: Clearly, they use false advertising to lure customers in, then shrug when they can't deliver. If you enjoy driving across town for a car that doesn't exist, this is your spot! I called this dealership to get a comparative quote for some work on my Mazda 6. Unlike the other Mazda dealership I called, they refused to provide a quote for the specific job. They insisted on charging $285 for a diagnostic that they said would not be applied to the cost of the job - replacing the serpentine belt. The quote I got for that job by the other dealership was less than the cost of the diagnostic here! The service department here is a rip off! I went to this dealership since I was specifically looking for a Mazda 3 select sport sedan in the ceramic metallic color and saw online that they had one. I'd previously went to another Mazda that was offering the same vehicle but unfortunately could not get to the price point that would fit well with my budget. Then I spoke to Daryon and he was amazing. Very welcoming, professional and nice, not super aggressive or pushy and did not pressure me to purchase. Really nice dealership with nice displays and plenty of room! Beautiful cars-wow what a difference compared to the Walnut Creek Subaru delaership-surprising! I had an eye on this used one which as we were looking got sold and was driving off the lot-darn! I saw the CX 9 bigger SUVS oh and I fell in LOVE-what a nice car especially one with the white interios and one with a tan brown type of interior-really nice! Unfortunately, a 50-60K price tag-sigh! They do have great financing that Mazda pays down to have a lower interest rates (I think it was 2.99% or 3.99% forgot which now which is really reasonable in today's economy). However, honestly I do not want a car payment at all, so it will be something I can pay outright without giving a big chunk of my money! They had plenty of CX5s which were reasonably priced in the 25k range (like the one that departed and was sold before I got to sit in it as one of my online picks). This is their most popular brand-not too small and not too big like the CX9 (sheesh-I am always so practical). No gift cards or incentives(other than their financing) as the other delaerships unfortunately(yes, I did check!). BUT besides the beautiful cars and wide range of available cars, one of the best things was their customer service! LUIS MUELA, came to us and was an easy going guy (I hate those car salesmen who are all pressure and quick talking,etc). This guy was so patient with our multitude of questions and it was very cold and windy outside and I think he had a cold, but he still stayed with us and gave us advice and info (unlike the other dealership who I barely saw until the end or others that hover like vultures). So look for this guy-he was the BEST and so informative! i never thought of Mazdas before-but after my research they are as good as Hondas(We are a Honda family and run it over 300k miles each Honda we have had!) and Toyotas (#1 supposedly) and the interiors are much nicer! I am waiting for the right time and price and one that comes in that I like-so if I find that special one, I will definitely look for Luis! Ask for him! read more

1 star just because the sales guy was nice, other than that, service was terrible. My daughter bought a her 1st car last November. It's new but found out after signing that there's a paint scratch. They said that they will schedule a paint job for us. My husband and I dropped off the car 2 days after buying. No calls for update after 4 days, I called them and was told that they don't have a record of service, panicked a bit so my husband and I went to the service center to check. Once in there, they can't find anything just because the person who handle the paper works was off that day. After few minutes they found the paper and made a note for the person in charge to give us a call Monday. Monday came still no call, I called and was told the person was still off. So annoying. After a week, they said the car was ready. Since my daughter will be coming from work, service department was already closed but the sales people will be there to give her the keys. Upon checking and excited to go home, the door handle on the left passenger side fell off!!!! What's going on! They didn't even check before giving it back to us. Ending my daughter wasn't able to bring it home at that time. She waited again for several days again!!! Never coming back. read more

Before going to Concord Mazda, I checked the online websites for 12 local Mazda dealerships. Only 3 dealerships show accurate prices. Some dealerships put dealer "Markup" stickers on the windshields to play the negotiating game that's focused on you paying more. Concord (DGDG) Mazda has up front pricing with dealer discounts and rebates online so you can eliminate the bullcrap other dealers use. Alex helped us every step of the way, he brought over the exact vehicle from their sister dealership in San Jose. His knowledge of every detail of every button and feature on the car is amazing considering all the models and trims that exist. The GM even hobbled over on his aching hip to help clarify how to complete a cash sale the easiest way. The dealership doesn't work on commission and every member of the team is professional, polite and actually care about their customers. If I wasn't retired, I would love to work here. The sales process was great. The service is non-existent. First, in May (9 months after I got my car), the engine malfunction light came on. I called the dealership to figure out what was going left. No one picked up the phone. Let a message, no one returned my call. After repeating that a couple of times, I just called the sales department, which sent me to voicemail again. So I gave up and just went into the dealership without an appointment. It turns out that the engine malfunction light was caused by a software issue. Second, in June, a rock cracked my windshield. The dealership sold me a windshield warranty, so I called them to repair my windshield. Again, I called no one picked up, left a message, etc. I also "chatted" with their service department, twice. Even though I was promised that someone would return my calls, that didn't happen. Eventually, I got in touch with someone who needed to call me back after she spoke with her supervisor. She never called me back. I figured it out by finding the information and contacting the warranty company directly. So if customer service is important, I would suggest another dealership. read more

After a year in storage, I brought my car into a different Mazda dealership to get an oil change and check up. The car should have had a pristine check up since I spent $2,754 at Concord Mazda for a 115K checkup where all of the fluids and filters were allegedly supposed to be replaced. I saw a video of the fluids and filters that were extremely dirtly that looked like they hadn't been replaced in years. It's borderline fraud when a business charges $2,754 for services that they didn't actually perform. Absolutely outraged. read more
