His team did major work to level our uneven floors, and install flooring and new baseboards throughout our house in 4 days. The crew was prompt, experienced, worked in a clean manner, and did a final cleaning after the floors were completely installed. We were so impressed with Luis' communication and oversight before, during, and after the project. He was always available when we called or texted, and he was on site every day as the project progressed. He kept us in the loop regarding additional materials that were needed and asked our opinion on stylistic choices on the baseboards. We felt he was very upfront, honest, and fair. We got 3 quotes for flooring installation. The pricing was fairly comparable between all 3, and LJ's was in the middle. The thing that stood out was that while the other 2 companies sent salespeople out to take measurements and provide us a quote, Luis was able to point out certain areas that would need special attention and ask specific questions that showed he was experienced in knowledgeable in actually installing flooring - much more than just a salesperson. Moises came to redo two walkways that my landscaper said he could do the pavers. I already knew while pavers make the "WOW" factor, the pavers themselves are 1/3 the cost, and the labor is about 2/3 the project. There also are some factors that play in the delay of installation that is unforeseeable like , weather, obstructions such as tree roots, water sprinklers systems, gas lines, and electric lines. Fortunately, we had none of these! I called Moises on a Wednesday, met with him the next day, called him on Friday morning, to start the job on Saturday. He gave me a two day completion installation on my walkways. His crew came in and were killing it in the over 100 degree heat. Not only did those young men finish the job in one day, they cleaned up everything like they were never there. I grew up in a family of construction and landscaping professionals, that took pride in their work and always exceeded the customer's expectations. If I did not know better, I think Moises had our DNA!!! Some of the reviews were negative, this was not my experience at all. Moises was professional, knowledgeable and a straightforward on his contracts and everything was in writing what the scope of the work is, no surprises. My brother who is a commercial landscaper and lives in Florida and told me his pricing is very reasonable compared to Florida paver experts. I was enthusiastic because he seemed committed and ready to do a great job on my outdoor kitchen. The plan was to create two separate areas that would house my grill, drawers, a warming drawer, cabinets and an outdoor fridge. My wife wanted the same stone used on our pool put on the outdoor kitchen so the backyard would flow. There are currently issues with the way the stone is being put on the grill. The framework was done to my satisfaction, where I'm concerned at this point is the finish work. The finish work is what we will look at everyday once they builders have moved on... It needs it to look as good as my pool finish work did. We talked to Moises about the work done and he insists the work is fine. The problem is, the company that did our pool did the brick work correctly, so we have the correct work 10 feet away to show as an example. He admitted he hasn't worked with this type of stonework before, but won't admit that his work is inferior. He even had the nerve to tell my wife "I knew you were going to be a problem when I walked in your home". After a brief conversation yesterday, he leaves my house and asks if I can make the final payment. Really? You've damaged my home, your work is sloppy, theres mortar all over my deck and you've not installed my appliances. Yet you want more money? Upon further investigation, it appears the gentlemen installing the outdoor kitchen made their tile cuts on my pool deck and now I have at least 15 slice marks where the blade cut into my pool deck. I'm furious. Also, where they used their machine, there is rust on my concrete. His guys attempted to rub the stain out with a wire brush, now there is damage where they scrubbed and you can still see the stain from the rust. I'm disappointed in not only the work, but how he handled the escalation. What makes me crazy is when my wife and I are showing him the corners on the pool which was done correctly, and all he could tell me is "it's fine, it's fine". IT'S NOT FINE, IT LOOKS HORRIBLE. I'll also post pictures of his work to show how shotty the finish work is. I'm disappointed, we had high hopes this guy would be more professional.

I cannot say enough good things about Robinsons Floors. I had 5 rooms where I wanted to replace 18…read moreyear old builder carpet with LVP. I did my research, visited flooring companies and even got a quote from one, however I was very uncomfortable with the lack of customer service so decided to keep looking. I'm so glad I listened to my inner voice! My initial call went to voicemail and I was pleasantly surprised when William called me back a short time later. We talked about what I was looking for and he took the time to ask questions, answer questions - I never felt rushed. I decided to visit the store the following Saturday. Another surprise - at the other stores, the salesperson didn't really explain the flooring - just told me to pick out what I wanted. William took the time (even though I thought I knew what I wanted) to review the different types of flooring and pros/cons of each. Again, I never felt rushed. I was there at least an hour and was NEVER pressured to 'select one and let's get the measure scheduled'. I told him I was looking around and he was fine with that - reach out if I had any questions. I am one of those 'multiple visit, hard time making up my mind' clients but he was fine with that. I eventually selected the same flooring as with the first store and scheduled the measure. Since I had vacillated between 3 different colors, he brought all of them to the measure so I could look at them in my house against my furniture. I made a final selection and the next day, had the quote. Wow. $2000 less than the other store, which had seriously over measured some rooms! I paid the deposit and scheduled the work. The workers arrived on Monday at 9:30, introduced themselves and went over the rooms and process with me. I work from home so, while busy, I'm still able to keep tabs on what is going on. I had carpet installed 3 times over the past year and the difference between those contractors and rhem was like night and day. They were communicative, professional and displayed a true caring of the work they did. I felt like they took as much care as they would have if doing it in their own house. They moved my furniture - even heavy pieces, hung plastic sheets to reduce the amount of dust and cleaned up every day before they left. They made sure everything was right before moving on 'to the next step'. I always knew what they were doing and what was coming next. I had calls scheduled and they worked their tasks around them to reduce the background noise. They finished on Thursday afternoon and even vacuumed the stairs and upstairs open area just to catch any dust that may have settled there. I knew they would clean the areas they worked in but they went the extra mile. The next day, William came by to do a walkthrough with me, making sure I was fully satisfied. About two weeks later he called just to check in, be sure everything was still good. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new floors. I had saved a long time for them (yes, they offer financing but I wanted to pay cash) and when you save 10k and then use it for something, you really want that something to be perfect. Especially when it's something you see every day. Working with Robinsons Floors was, well, we'd have to come up with a whole new word to describe how great an experience it was. No sales pressure, happy to inform, great product, workers who clearly take pride in their work - what more can we ask?? I will be having additional LVP installed and would not call anybody else. I can HIGHLY recommend them to my best and closest friends. They wouldn't be disappointed.
