I filtered about 30 concrete contractors via phone, on-line, and read a 1,000 on-line reviews, Better Business Bureau reviews, Angie's List, Yelp, Neighborhood Apps, blah, blah, blah. I found 3-4 that I was confident in hiring. I don't know how I found RS Concrete honestly - it's a blur. However, I knew INSTANTLY the owner knew what he was talking about when he came by. He gave me a bid. He wasn't the cheapest, but he wasn't the most expensive. He was on the high side, but I will tell you that his visit sold me - period. You pay for what you get. He was on time, prompt, communicated, insured, knowledgeable, experienced, and had a great crew working on this project. The first never responded and the second needed several weeks just to come out and take a look, but American came out the following day and took the time to talk about everything we had in mind. They then followed up quickly with an itemized quote including multiple options we had discussed. We had them build an 8ft privacy fence and are extremely pleased with the result as well as the service. This fence is a major upgrade! It's not only nice to look at, but solid. We also had them install a custom corner gate that will allow us to make much better use of our big yard, and it turned out better than we could have hoped for. The pricing was very reasonable, build-out was fast and professional, and the guys were super easy to work with. The owner Todd personally consulted with us at every stage to make sure we got everything we wanted.
