The service was friendly and good. The ambiance was very bright and special. I ordered steak tacos and chips and quac and the guacamole was not fresh and tasted sour like it had been sitting all day.. the steak on the tacos were good and the chimichuri on the tacos made the whole meal a waste. The lack of talent in the kitchen was very disappointing. The plate looked good but looked better then it tasted if you are in the mood for non traditional tacos I'd recommend anywhere else.. next time if I had to choose between buying tacos here I would rather buy a plain potato and dip it in ketchup raw and eat that before I eat here again.. I would only recommend this place if you want drinks and friendly people to talk to if you are hungry I'd recommend eating your lawn grass first. read more

Took the entire family in for dinner. The interior was decorated with graffiti and cool Mexican lanterns. The street corn appetizer was delicious. I ordered the Skywalker Nachos (minus rice), which were also delicious. Our waiter Gavin was Johnny on the spot. Don't confuse this with traditional Mexican food. Condado Tacos has many of the components of Mexican cuisine except they encourage the customer to individually choose their ingredients. Categories include, proteins, veges, salsas and sauces. All are fresh and plentiful delivered with attentive service. This location is a bit noisy for table conversation otherwise it's a solid 5 stars. read more

Just tried this place out for the first time today. Had high expectations, but when we brought our takeout order home, all four of our "suggested tacos" were ice cold. We were a bit confused by this seeing as that we showed up only ten minutes after placing our order. That being said, a quick heat up in the microwave and we were good to go...so we thought. The "heater" was the only decent of the four tacos we had ordered. The "korean bbq" and the "lucys fire" were not great. The "blue dream" was just okay. The highlight of this place was definitely the queso blanco, and the chips and salsa. Both of which were excellent and made the meal edible. Overall, we may be back, but next time around will most likely build our own tacos, and choose to dine in instead. read more

So this place has been coming up as a recommended restaurant so what the heck.... I loved the atmosphere and decor upon entry. We weee seated immediately and and we quickly ordered beverages (try the pomegranate margarita with salt rim)!!! We ordered the triple dip appetizer (smoked cheddar, elote dip, and chorizo) two of the three were fantastic one was good(not going to spoil it-find out for yourself). I had steak nachos and my wife had the brisket bowl, both were well worth the trip. Try it for yourself, I get that it may not be for everyone but I'm inclined be generous with my rating ESPECIALLY with good to great food with FANTASTIC service. Went for the first time with my friend for drinks. We just missed happy hour, but our server Triss directed us to the best bang for our buck which was the margarita flights! We each tried 3 new flavors, with a half order of the smoked cheddar queso and it was amazing! The patio is also really pretty to sit at and enjoy the nice weather. High recommend! read more

Not very busy on a Tue night. Overly loud inside so we sat on patio. We only got 1 taco each, a small tater tot, and small dip and salsa with a soda and iced tea. Now when you're charging $3 for an iced tea, and I ask for flavor, you better be warning me that you will now charge an extra $2 for that flavoring. Where nobody else does. Our bill totaled $37!!!! For 2 dang tacos and a dip of queso so small it was barely there. The service was not good. And to top it the food sounded good on the menu but absolutely fell flat on taste. If the menu is creative, don't ruin the real flavors with a Dorito taco shell. This is just for kids. I guess the ones with a lot of their parent's money! We recently went to try out the food and adult beverages. Their food is on point. We shared the guacamole, queso, street corn. The group liked the street corn best with the guacamole a close second. We all ordered rice bowls. Everyone took a portion of this meal home as it's rather large. I give it a four star as the margaritas are super tasty but very pricey. We ordered a pitcher as usually you get a better value but barely got three drinks out of it. We will return but only at happy hour or food only as it way too expensive to drink here. read more

The prices are way too high. $20 for tacos. $11 for a margarita in a small canning jar full of ice. $10 for chips and dip. Amazing experience and amazing food. Our server was Ash, and she did a wonderful job. Super attentive and friendly. Highly recommend! We will be back! I had the blackberry Margarita with Patron Anejo . We did the three buds with guac, the Mexican street corn, and the pineapple salsa. All three were amazing and packed with flavor. Everything is great except for the food. Fun causal vibe, service was quick and very pleasant. Nice interior, seems like a nice place to get drinks. Queso and guacamole tasted out of a tub. Corn dip was okay. Chips were fine. Tacos were all served cold, lots of salt, rice was extremely salty. We tried 4 different tacos and all were served cold. This was my first time at Candado Tacos. The vibes were immaculate. It's definitely a fun place to go to. However, if you're looking for an authentic taco place, this is not the place. I'd describe this place as a fancy Chipotle. The nachos were okay, and so were their Korean BBQ tacos. The best things were the drinks and the heated taco. The horchata was great and so was the tropicali. The guacamole was probably the most disappointing thing on their menu. It didn't have much flavor and it --along with the tortillas--seemed store bought. Their brisket, however was amazing. The quality of all their meat was great! I just wished that they'd amp up their flavors. The nachos came with a lot of sauce (which is good!) but didn't come with enough cheese, and felt kind-of plain. Not the best nachos I've ever had. The nachos gave off the vibes of a baked zeti before it's baked, or like a casserole that never made it into the oven. They let you choose between queso fresco, pepper Jack and smoked cheddar, but I wish that they had regular cheddar as an option as well. Their street corn was also very good! Spicy, flavorful, and delicious! I highly recommend getting this if you like spicy food and bold flavors! Although my food came out very fast, I wish they would have taken longer to heat up my tortillas because they were cold. Overall the flavors should match the vibe. More cheese on the nachos! More meat! Warm tortillas! This place has great potential, and I will probably go again with friends. read more

I placed an order on DoorDash for the Crunch box and Smoked cheddar queso & chips. The order came to my home in about 35-40 minutes which was a little longer than originally expected, but that is okay I'm understanding that it takes time to pick up and deliver food. Nevertheless, when my food arrived it was terrible from the start. The $10.50 queso had no chips! It was just a cup of queso and I expected the restaurant to serve chips because a dip requires a chip. Then my girlfriend came up with the bright idea to get bagged pretzels from our pantry to eat the queso. It wasn't too bad to be honest but I am still pissed I didn't get chips. Next, the crunch box taco were sad, pathetic, and piss poor quality and quantity. The tacos are cold as the snow outside and soggy as a dirty washcloth. The tacos had no cheese and they are supposed to come with cheese but not this time. It was just cold meat and wet wilted lettuce in a ice cold shell that was soft and mushy. I don't recommend giving this place business and I advise you spend money at an actual Mexican restaurant. At an actual Mexican restaurant it will have quality and quantity for a good price. A recommendation is La Familia Cafe or Casa Tequila. read more

Visited Condado for the first time during my visit to WMU to see our daughter. Loved the Three Buds appetizer. We tried the dirty queso, traditional guacamole, and the Mexican street corn. All three dips were outstanding. Our only criticism would be the tortilla chips tasted a little stale but that didn't deter our enjoyment. We also had three tacos: Lucy's fire, Ooey-gooey, and Sweet Heat (brisket). We absolutely loved the Ooey-gooey - it was amazing! The others were also very tasty with Lucy's fire being quite hot and Sweat Heat having ample brisket packed on it. Ashley was our server and she was very knowledgeable and attentive. We had a fantastic experience and I am excited to come back the next time I am in K-Zoo. read more

Visited here for the first time today. First thoughts are that the atmosphere is fun. The service was good and our server was attentive. She was great, but we just weren't digging the food! Our server gets 5 stars, 2 stars for atmosphere. The tables are super small and the chairs are very uncomfortable. Whoever designed this obviously didn't want people to hangout and order more drinks. If you are going to try several things, make sure you are seated at a larger table or you will quickly run out of room. The napkin dispenser takes up half the table. The trio of dips was good, but the house salsa isn't included. Enjoyed the Smoke Show margarita. The food was disappointing and the reason for only 2 stars. The chips were stale tasting and had no flavor. The best taco was the Blue Dream, and honestly, it wasn't much different than a Taco Bell taco, but much more expensive. While the Skywalker nachos were huge, they were mainly topped with rice and lettuce, which was wet and made the chips soggy on the bottom. Way too much onion/corn and hardly any chicken or cheese. The advertised heat actually matched, and things advertised hot were pretty spicy. For the prices (which are outrageous for what they offer) and quality, Holy Taco in Texas Corners has this place beat hands down. read more

We tried this out tonight not very impressed. The decor is fun and loud loved the local artists who paint the murals.. Ordered a Margarita 14.+ dollars it is served in a whisky glass maybe 6 oz glass which was a bit odd but ok we got about 5 sips with the amount of Ice that's also included in the tiny glass . The Guacamole was basic from a bag or large plastic container not fresh at all had a terrible aftertaste I was the most disappointed in that. Server said it was made fresh in the distribution center but she doesn't ever recommend the Guacamole bless her heart. Brisket taco was delicious 5.50 for a taco and spork all good.. overall it's very overpriced for extremely mediocre shelf stable food.. Staff was lovely and friendly. read more

I went there for a promotional event and was told one thing but when it came time to use the promotion I was unable to use it how I was told I would be able to on 2 separate occasions. The first is I was at first told I would be able to use multiple coupons earned from the promotional event per purchase but a couple weeks later I was informed that I was lied too. Second I was told the coupons expired a year from the week they were issued but I was again lied too and they all expired a year from the event. The staff here including managers obviously don't know what is actually true and spreads misinformation. read more

I give it two stars for the art work and atmospheres. Definitely has an inviting ambiance. But as far as the food goes, I don't think that my husband and I would be returning. I started off with a Catus juice that had way more ice and lemons in it than actual liquid. The taste was alright but definitely not worth $7 for the small amount of actual liquid you get. The tacos were very subpar and I kept trying to convince myself that 1 taco if good enough can be worth $5 but I was kidding myself. Now, don't get me wrong, I will happily pay over $10 for a taco if it's actually worth it but to be honest I've had better tacos at Taco Bell. My husband is Mexican and we enjoy eating tacos often but this is place is not worth it in my opinion. I get that they trying to do something g different but when it comes to tacos, the simpler the better. Service was alright, took forever for someone to actually see us and then they forgot one of our dips, it was just to the point where I didn't want the dip at the end of the day.
