They are well priced, and they offer a huge variety of classes... I have been going to yoga almost every day and I have found the instructors to be experienced and highly competent. I mostly run in the ABQ Bosque during the spring and fall, so I haven't really needed to use their treadmills much but I expect that will change in the winter. On the few occasions when I have needed to use them because it was cold, or I haven't had time to get down to the river, there have been plenty of machines and no wait times. This is obviously an operation that does well at scale. One of the best gyms I have used in my life.

There may be two sides to any story implying deceit, embellishment, dishonesty, and aggrandizement by one or both sides. However, the recorded audio of the conversation can only present the conversation as it happened. My experiences in those areas have been excellent: the weightlifting equipment is maintained to a high level, and the locker room, shower, and steam room are always very clean. The staff in the weightlifting area have been very helpful, especially, Chris who has given me great advice on how to exercise properly. But it is totally unacceptable for any member, employee and especially a security director to threaten with a badge and gun. See slide 22. It is totally unacceptable for the security director not to contact the offending party when that activity can result in injury and even death. It is totally unacceptable to revoke a membership because that member has reported offending, dangerous, and abnormal behavior. This offending dangerous behavior has been reported for over 40 days to JCC and has been known by employees and members for much longer than 40 days. There is no excuse for not contacting the known offending party. There is no excuse for not posting parking signs, "Consider Others Park Between The Lines, Violators Will Be Towed". The cost of 3 signs is less than $150. JCC has signs implying secure your belongings in the parking lot. Why do they have these signs and not similar parking signs? To say that I refused to leave JCC is deceitful, not supported by the video. To imply that I am upset at no longer being a JCC membership is highly misleading and defamatory. The last statement made to the Security Director is "If you want to revoke my membership, do it. See slide 23. To imply that I am the problem is an opinion. I loved the Dance Fit class. The Yoga was a little slow, but still tough. Rates seem affordable (discounts for students & military as well) and they have a variety of locations throughout NM for when work travel is necessary. Staff is friendly as well. The only downside is that it is located between a cute cafe and an ice cream shop (my curiosity got the better of me and I decided to wander in. Big mistake). We'll see. Onto the gym search...

The place is open from early morning til late and I felt it's not too busy. They don't have many of everything but the definitely have the things you need...and it's clean and not intimidating. The big plus for this is the price. It's extremely reasonable and..the membership together with weekly training session with a trainer comes to what I used to pay for (or even less than!) my previous gym membership at a nearby place. Not fancy..but it's almost always open when I need it to...and close enough to my house to feel motivated enough to go often for sure.
