And I mean that in the best of ways. It is more of a shared space for different teachers of different practices. Just last night I went to a sound healing class during the full moon. That's something you don't just run into at your standard yoga studio. (But they also do regular yoga as well.) There are a few yoga spaces, and last night I saw a massage room as well. The place feels serene from the moment you walk through the door and it smells just like an earthy, Santa Fe-type spa. The energy is beyond peaceful. I stumbled across them on Facebook, and I couldn't be happier. It appears as though most classes you are able to drop in. Please, go get your zen on.

They can see when a pose is not helpful and either just modify it or give another pose that has similar effects! Between the temp, the humidity, and the fact that I had drank already 60oz of water, I was sweating so profusely during my 90 min bikram hot yoga class that they brought me a second towel! I had gone to the gym earlier and it was Leg Day and so I had build up of lactic acid in my muscles, I sweated and stretched out muscles at hot yoga to the point that I could walk like a normal human! No baby deer walk!!! Woo Hoo! I highly suggest to add hot yoga or yoga in general with your exercise routine. This studio is fantastic! They have onsite showers and you can borrow mats, towels, or buy water! Everything you need in a studio!

My insurance covers me attending yoga through a program and this is my choice of studios. I've been doing yoga for over 15 years and this studio has all of the things I look for in a place to practice. The first class is free and they offer both hot, warm, and room temperature yoga. I've tried all of the above types of classes with a lot of different instructors. My favorite is Teresa because of her style, she lets you play in class practicing arm balances at a variety of levels. Her yin yoga class is to die for, I feel that my week is set once I've attending this longer well guided class. I have also attended workshops here and enjoyed each one I have gone to. They do have showers which is a huge plus! Towels, yoga mats, weights, straps, blocks, are all in the room and easy to access. Visit the studio and if you've never gone, I recommend a room-temp or yin class .
