This place holds sooooo much nostalgia! I grew up taking bike rides here and I always ordered the "crunch" ice cream cone. I have not been able to find the crunch anywhere. I wanted to visit when I was in town in April 2022 but they were closed due to seasonal hours of operation. I was finally able to get some before my flight in June 2022. I purposely scheduled my flight to Grand Rapids JUST so I could order the "Crunch" ice cream. The cool weather and rain did not stop me from getting my ice cream, haha! It looks the same as it did when I was a kid. They still had benches outside to sit and enjoy the yummy treats. I was super happy when I ordered my ice cream. The worker asked if I wanted a cone or cup. I decided on the cup. My six-year-old self was ecstatic! read more

Stopped in here on a whim and we were delighted! It's a walk up ice cream spot with lots of parking. But the big news is that they serve delicious ice cream with lots of options! We love soft serve ice cream but can't agree on the perfect flavor-I opted for chocolate and was not disappointed! Swirls of rich creamy goodness piled so high on a cake cone you had to lick like crazy to keep it from dripping down your arm -I got a small!! So wow generous and it just screams summer! Hubby opted for vanilla and was equally as pleased but he got the crispy waffle cone- made for less mess with just as much if not more ice cream. You can tell the quality of a place by the vanilla ice cream they serve and this stuff was great! But their offerings didn't stop there! They have some magical way to service flavored soft serve! They have all the goodies you'd expect to make sundaes, shakes and hand dipped ice cream flavors. Their sign board was PACKED with options. We will be back to try other options in the future. I love Cone City! I have been coming here since I was maybe 2 years old so this is a top destination for nostalgia for me. :) This location is definitely STILL OPEN in the summer, I know this being I just enjoyed ice cream here THIS WEEK! I believe they're open from April- September. Their selection is huge! they have flavored ice cream, yogurt, soft serve, flavor burst, sundaes, glaciers.. this list goes on! Also, they have little things like hot dogs, chips and nachos like any good neighborhood ice cream place should! Good Ice Cream I used to frequent this place often in my younger years with the family. After moving away its nice to see that they are still in operation. They have a TON of flavors here and even offer cheeseburgers and hotdogs. As well as ice cream, comes, shakes, and flurries. I'm not much off a cone person so I always opt for the flurries and malts. This visit I had the Mint Choc. Chip flurry and my significant other a flavor burst cone. The flavors arent as strong as you'd think. ** Overall it's not a bad place and they have a great seating area. With two picnic table to enjoy your desserts at. Pretty busy in the summer time. It would be nice if they had more than 2 people working as the line gets really backed up and they work as fast as they can. That being said, the treats are tasty! Moderate prices and wide variety. read more

I got the hard serve ice cream here, and although the flavor was good, it was half melted as if it hadn't been in the freezer. It almost had the consistency of whipped cream. I wasn't impressed, seeing as I had been here before and really enjoyed the ice cream. read more
