I love the doctors and staff at this office. They are always courteous and supportive. All 3 doctors are knowledgeable and helpful.

I have been to Conejo Simi Eye twice to see Dr Mangers and have received such great care. The first time was an emergency visit right before Christmas. I was having a bad reaction and they were able to get me in so quickly. Dr Mangers was thorough, so knowledgable, and sympathetic. We did all the tests to make sure I was ok and I left feeling so relieved. She wanted to see me again this year to follow up on some things we were keeping an *eye* on (hehe). Called in to make an appointment and was able to get in next day. Again, the visit was efficient and thorough. All the staff members are very kind. The office is clean and neat- there are two different offices, one upstairs and one down so just make sure you know which you are going to. Plenty of free parking right outside the building. We all know it can be hard finding quality care in the medical field so it feels really great to have an Ophthalmologist you can rely on and trust. read more

Dr Ebroon's specialty is eye lids and he consistently provides absolutely incredible results. He is one of the only plastic surgeons on the west coast whose practice is strictly eye lid surgery. The entire staff deserves many accolades. read more

Making an appointment was easy and the operator, Mark, was nice, professional, and helpful. The lobby is clean, neat, and spacious and the front desk staff is efficient in making everything go swiftly. The optometrist that helped me was Eli and his mannerism was chef's kiss. He was knowledgeable, polite, professional, clean, and made me feel comfortable because I was new to all of it. The ophthalmologist that saw me was Dr. Steve Corwin. He took the time to explain things and answered all my questions. Not the friendliest person and not the cleanest either so that made me uncomfortable. He proceeded to touch my face and eye lids without ever washing his hands or using hand sanitizer. He also left the room, grabbed stuff, came back in and starting putting his hands on my eyes again after touching door knobs in a massive, high-traffic office. I was caught off guard big time and didn't say anything but you best know I was praying I don't get an eye infection. Other things happened that totally turned me off so I won't be going back to him. For example, when he grabbed a sharp instrument to do something to my eye, he wanted to jump in and rush to do it, and when I seemed confused and hesitant for literally two seconds, he looked agitated and wanted to just do it and move on. I was super worried afterwards because I noticed that one of the instruments used in my eye didn't come out of a sterilization package, it was sitting on his desk inside some box. In a health office, proper hygiene practices are highly important to me and it should be to everyone, but I'm still giving this place 5 stars because of the overall experience and not ending up with an eye infection lol. read more

My son and I saw Dr Eyvazzadeh yesterday for my sons eye we've seen over 10 different doctors and many medications for a year and a half now finally Dr E diagnosed his issue thank you Dr E she is the best!! My husband has been going to this eye place for several years with the same vision and medical insurance. Earlier this year [Feb 2022] he went for his annual eye exam. We got a bill [Sept 2022] and immediately I knew something was wrong because we get an annual exam each year covered 100% under our vision insurance. So I called the billing phone number on the bill and after several attempts to speak with someone I finally got a person. Discovered they billed medical and not our vision insurance. The rep I spoke with put in a request to rebill our vision. Which she did. Then I got the EOB from our vision insurance [Nov 2022] that they denied the claim because the Dr office used the wrong codes. This morning I tried to call the billing number again and it's now been disconnected. So we called the direct number to the office and spoke with Dee-anne who basically said they no longer take vision insurance. OK THAT WOULD OF BEEN GREAT TO KNOW BACK IN FEB 2022 WHEN MY HUSBAND CHECKED IN FOR HIS EYE EXAM APPOINTMENT!!!!!! Dee-anne basically said, "too bad it's not our problem we didn't tell you we don't accept vision insurance!" STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE THEY SUCK! read more

I have gone here for many years. I like Dr. E very much. I don't love how the practice has changed. They no longer carry glasses or have opticians so you have to go somewhere else to get them. So what's the point? Extra trips and inconvenience.They also no longer have the retinal specialist and have techs doing what Dr. E used to do. It almost doesn't seem like a real practice anymore. It must have gone corporate to save money like everything else. This is no reflection on Dr. E or even the techs. The people who work there are nice and caring. It just isn't the same and I'm considering going to an optometrist where you can buy your glasses. read more

Dr Steven Corwin is a total pro when it comes to eyes. Ethical, honest, and will tell you if you "really" need surgery. The practice is very well organized, staff members are available on the phone, and it's a very professional environment. And yes, they do take PPO plans. Recommended! read more

This morning I brought my son in for an appointment to the Thousand Oaks Location. The time was set for 8:45 am. My son and I checked-in a little after that. After a short time chatting with the front desk worker and providing her my identification and healthcare information I was then told that because it was 9:00 am some sort of arrival time rule was initiated in that now the wait time for my son and I would be 2 hours. In addition, when I asked if there was a time they could provide me to return I was told no. I was told my options were to reschedule or wait in the lobby, I was told it could be maybe 30min, maybe 45, maybe a hour etc. Essentially I was asked to sit idly by and simply wait for an opening. My son is 3 years old and for me to sit in a waiting room for 2 hours is completely unacceptable. To request me to sit in a waiting room without a confirmed time is unfair and a waste of my time. I would hope there is a way we can reconcile this situation. The wasted gas, time loss and unfair treatment birthed by this encounter is frustrating. read more

I normally go to Cedars-Sinai for medical needs, this time I elected to go local to see an ophthalmologist to check for cataracts. I saw Dr Corwin, he told me I have both eyes needing cataract surgery. Elected to do my right eye 1st & a few weeks later to do the other eye. After the surgery on my right eye I went for post op checkup and was told to wait a month before the office refracted me for any new lens into my glasses. I wanted a copy of the new lens used for replacement in cataract surgery. I asked many times for the office to send me a copy, I stopped calling. I'm also being seen by VA Dr's and was told by the VA there's no sign of needing cataract surgery in my left eye! Wow, now I need a 3rd opinion to see who's correct! Saw the chief Ophthalmologist at Cedars-Sinai & he also said not necessary to do left for 4 or 5 years! I tried to get my eyes examined after the 1st surgery and was told I only had 30 days or I have to pay out of my pocket! Nothing in writing says I have 30 days or 130 days, why charge me? I'm done with that office for good!! That office is only out for the CASH!! They changed me an added $2500. For Dr Corwin to use a laser in a 10 minute or less surgery, when I asked for a Vietnam Veteran discount, NOT!! Stay away or you also might get scammed!! read more

My kids and I have been seeing Dr Toor for several years now and they've recently closed their Agoura office and have moved to using their Thousand Oaks location exclusively. While Dr Toor has been wonderful, the staff is utterly awful! I recently requested for them to simply email me a copy of my son's eyeglass prescription and I called them literally 6 or 7 times and cannot get them to answer the phone during business hours, email me nor return any of my calls! I am beyond upset at the lack of professionalism and sadly will not be returning to see Dr Toor. I cannot imagine a business like this staying around for much longer. This is not a complaint of the service, just the billing. I have been trying for months to straighten out a bill from 2 years ago that they just sent me and I have been unable to contact their billing. No one answers the phone and messages left are never returned. Now my wife has the same problem. I called the office in Simi and was told that they changed billing service providers (several times) but billing still will not respond to messages and will not answer their phone. At this point I feel like I am being scammed by this company. read more

I visited Dr. Corwin for a second time recently and I just wanted to share my experience. From start to finish it was very professional and I felt comfortable with their Covid-19 compliance. I was there for contact lenses and a fitting. A technician named Diana performed the examination prior to seeing Dr. Corwin. I told Diana that I was considering trying out some newer lenses. I've been wearing the same type for many years. I was impressed by the knowledge Diana had on the different brands of lenses on the market. She was able to tell me the difference between my current lenses and the newer lenses currently available. Dr. Corwin finished the exam and we all discussed my options. I ended up trying out a newer lenses and I couldn't be happier. They seem to fit my eyes much better than my previous lenses. I am very happy. Dr. Corwin performed LAKIK surgery on me and I not only am thrilled with my "new " eyes, but the whole experience was pleasant. COVID really played no role in that they are so seamlessly and thoroughly caring for their patients, that, aside from the masks and some easy-to-conform to processes, it's business as usual. Everyone is friendly and helpful and I felt safe the whole time. Terrible customer service. I recently took my 99-year-old mother for a return appointment. When we went in they advised us that they had installed a new computer system and that they didn't transfer her insurance cards to the new system. There was no communication from the office that they did this and to remind us to bring the cards. They would not see her without a cash payment or the presentation of the insurance cards. We didn't have them with us. I asked if they would take a check and hold it until I scanned it and email them when I got home. Nope," it was just pay cash or leave. I told them "pass." Of course, we should always carry the cards. But there was no compassion or any offer to make a one-time exception to help a 99-year-old customer. My whole family went there for our eye care. No more. Stay away from this eye group. read more

Please do not let your loved one be seen by Dr. Steven Corwin. This so-called Ophthalmologist has ruined my eyes. After he performed surgery on both eyes, I was unable to see clearly. When I returned for my post op appointment, I was told these things can happen. I went for a second opinion to an amazing Ophthalmologist. In 5 minutes, he was able to tell me my left eye had been over corrected, and my right eye had the wrong lens put in it. the office is very un-professional. I'm still trying to find out where the money I paid them is that should of went to the surgery center. read more

I went in today for a stye removal with Dr. Ebroon. My appointment was at 9am, and i was in and out by 9:45am! This includes filling out paperwork as I'm a new patient, then meeting with the nurse, meeting with the doctor and talking about the procedure, then being prepped for the surgery, numbing, anesthesia, and the actual procedure all took less than an hour. This isn't to say they rushed through it. Everyone was just so professional and on top of things. Dr. Ebroon explained everything in detail, and did such a smooth job during the procedure. It was my first time here and I was a bit hesitant as I've had another similar procedure done in the past with another doctor who did a horrible job and left a scar. So I'm very pleased with Dr. Ebroon and his team and will be going back should I need an ophthalmologist in the future. read more
