I work for an international government. I called several locksmiths in the area of one of our diplomat's primary residence. Some declined the job based on how difficult it was, the others who said that they could do it, were rude and arrogant. I found David through a different locksmith who guaranteed his work. He couldn't have been more right. I work with a lot of 3rd party vendors on a regular basis. The government I work for is incredibly and sometimes unreasonably demanding based on American standards. I cannot blame some of the vendors who turn down our requests for service because of the unattainable high standards that are set, but David, not only was an amazing and competent technician, he offered lower prices than his competitors AND most importantly, is the most personable and charismatic person among all of the vendors I have ever dealt with. You cannot be more professional than this guy; when I have to deal with difficult vendors, I wish I could pull David along and show them that this how customer service is done. read more

The other day I started up my van and out of force of habit, I locked the door as I ran back inside to grab something. I didn't realize it was possible for the doors to lock with the key in the ignition ammnd nobody in the car, but I sure found out. It was about 10pm & I was at work, and at the end of my bank account (payday was in a couple days). I called Confidential and was given a reasonable estimate, but still couldn't afford it. David didn't think twice before working with me to bring down the price. It was such a life-saver. When he came out, he got the door open after just a few minutes. He's very personable and we ended up carrying a conversation for like 20 minutes. Extremely friendly man and very deserving of business. David came out to our house on a Saturday evening when we were having trouble with a multi-lock mechanism on the backdoor of our house. We could no longer lock the door and we were in real trouble. He found that we had a broken spring in our gear box and he was able to fabricate a component that got all of the mechanics working again so we could lock our door again. He was also great with our dogs who we kept locked upstairs for the majority of the service but decided to let downstairs after David told us that he loves animals. This is my first post to Yelp and I had to get on here just to write a review for Confidential Locksmith. I don't think I've ever had better customer service anywhere. I had a portion of my car key broken off in my ignition and when David arrived, he had it fixed within twenty minutes. Prior to calling Confidential, I was pricing out a locksmith and I ended up paying half of what I was estimated at other places in the area. If I could give David more stars I would. His customer service, knowledge, and care for the work he does is GOLD. Not only did he get the key unstuck (too large for the keyhole), but he adjusted the door jam so it was flush. Keep in mind, it is Sunday at 2pm!
