She was not gentle, rude, disrespectful, & inconsiderate. She spiked my anxiety for the dentist. I was already fearful but I was assuming because she was a woman she would be understanding. I've been going here for about 8 years now and i love it . Yes the staff changes but they have all been pleasant and welcoming. I've seen other Dentist here as well, some not as good as others but overall that's why i just get on Dr. Conleys books because he has yet to fail me. I am writing to discuss the horrible experience I had with Dr. Stafford Conley. I have been a patient for over 5 years and never had any issues or problems. I am concerned though whether the treatments I did receive over the years were even good based on my most recent experience. The problem started when I went in for a regular cleaning on March 18, 2021 and then about 2 weeks later, had to go back after suffering tooth pain. When at the office, the x-ray could not diagnose what the problem was and I was told to schedule an appointment with an Endodontist. I thought this was strange since it was not detected when I had a cleaning, but I moved forward and had my root canal procedure done. Over the next several months, I made several appointments to get my crown put in and as of September 9, 2021, I still have no crown that I paid for. Appointment #1 - May 14, 2021 - fitting was done Appointment #2 - July 9, 2021 - crown was suppose to be placed, but couldn't put it in Appointment #3 - July 30, 2021 - appointment was at 8am and was called 10 minutes before my appointment and was told my crown didn't arrive Appointment #4 - September 3, 2021 - still my crown wasn't there. Not even sure what the issue was this time I am highly disappointed with the service I received and as a patient that works hard everyday, this is just unacceptable. I think the biggest disappointment was that after the incident on July 30, 2021 occurred, no one from this office called to inform me that my crown arrived (which was communicated to me when the appointment was cancelled). Also, every last temporary crown that was put in my mouth fell out within 8 hours of leaving this office. Just terrible service across the board and while Dr. Conley is a good man, but the services provided were just terrible and unacceptable. read more

The office of Dr. Conley provides exceptional service, everyone is so professional friendly not to mention funny, I have been going to this location even prior to Dr. Conley and it was never this exceptional, I really use to dread going, now I really look forward to keeping my beautiful teeth and gums healthy and strong ..... not to mention seeing these amazing Doctors and staff , Everyone should give them a try they will WOW you ! I have been a patient here for almost 5 years. I followed my husband since it was a closer location. The staff is constantly changing so it's hard to get comfortable with the hygienist or the front desk staff. Many times I thought I was going to see the doctor and saw someone else. I requested to get my teeth whitened and the items was never ordered so I got off work for an appointment for nothing and had to come back. I requested a filling appointment but upon arrival in the back was informed the water is not working so I had to be rescheduled over a week out!!!! Then I was reschedule! The day before my 3 week holiday I showed up 16 mins pass my appointment and was told I needed to be reschedule! Once I got back to the country I called on a Friday (admin day no doc) and was told I had an appointment on Monday but upon arrival I was told I was never booked. I hear the employee saying she never talked to me but only to a lady that was at the airport and needed filling. I told them it was me! Somehow they didn't book me because I missed to many appointment and gave it to someone else. Completely unacceptable to allow me to be told I'm booked and I showed up to get told that. I would not recommend this office to anyone, I truly wouldn't feel right doing that to someone. From the unprofessional practices and procedures I encountered, to the nonchalantness, and negligence of the Dentist his self, who could careless about is dental procedures not being efficient. I came to Conley dentistry as a first time patient for a cleaning and dental check-up. I had so much confidence in this office, happy they took my insurance as an expecting mother, and got CAT FISHED! I had a cavity that I was aware of prior to coming in. After my cleaning the dentist Dr. Conley recommended filling the tooth, I okayed it. (I felt something was off because I'm used to dentist willingly showing and explaining my X-rays) I wish I followed my gut. It's been a complete Nightmare every since. What was a first a small cavity, that never once gave me any pain, was Drilled so deep to the point it pained me. Dr. Conley who first viewed my x-ray and said it was okay to fill, then stated I would need a ROOT CANAL!!!! (completely unnecessary and money hungry)!!! I was then given a temporary clay filling *performed by a young teenage assistant who couldn't tell me ANY information on care for the filling* , how long it would last etc.., and the referred to an Endodontist ( Root canal specialist). The endodontist NEVER answered the phone, not one day out of the week. There was no one I could reach or follow up with at any recommend location by the Conley Office. Weeks went by, my clay filling came out, NERVE COMPLETELY EXPOSED and I was in the WORST possible pain of my life! A tooth pain that was completely unbearable and debilitating, while expecting my first child. I couldn't work, sleep, or barely breath. Even breathing through my nose sent a shooting pain up my jaw. I was Overdosing on Tylenol, and Ibuprofen in tears. All because of Greed, and negligence. When I came back into the office in complete pain, barely able to sit up straight in the waiting room, I was treated like it was nothing. Brushed off. One assistant did inform Dr. Conley that I was in severe pain, and he turned around and said "Yeah cause she has an infection" without even giving me ANY dental x-rays to confirm that! He never once personally looked at my mouth. Let the assistant do it. And prescribed me MOTRIN 800, and Antibiotics. You would think he would've at least numbed my mouth, refilled the open tooth, or gave me medicine before I left. NOOO! He sent me right out the door barely able to stand, one eye completely shut from shooting pains up my jaw, to go pick up a prescription that wouldn't be ready for another hour! PLEASEEEEE RUN! And safe yourself the pain. The hygienist is pretty good. But I wouldn't get any serious work done here. Don't be catfished by fake reviews. read more

I really do not like writing negative reviews but I can't recommend this dental practice...at all. I recently broke a molar and so I needed to find a dentist. After logging into my healthcare account, I found Dr. Conley as a provider through my dental insurance, DentaQuest. I called the office and made an appointment for approximately a week later. I gave my dental insurance over the phone and was never told that there was a problem. I punctually arrived at my appointment, gave the front desk my insurance card and was seen by Dr. Conley. I liked him so I was prepared to have the procedure done by him. As I was leaving, the receptionist told me that I could not schedule my procedure until the insurance person returned to the office. After not receiving a phone call for a couple days, I called their office and was then informed that they no longer accepted my dental insurance. I was also told that I would be charged $76.80. This may not seem like a lot, but it's a lot to me. I am retired and have a limited, fixed income. I'm very upset that I was billed for this visit. If they had accepted my insurance, the visit and x-rays would have been covered at no cost to me. I would NOT have agreed to be seen if I knew that they did not accept my insurance. The office had several days before I arrived to confirm if they accepted my insurance. I should not be penalized because the office staff is unsure about which insurances are accepted. I did write a letter to Dr. Conley asking if he could rectify this situation. I received no call....no letter....just another bill. I can't recommend this dental practice. read more

I think Dr. Conley is a good dentist, and the dental work I have received from him personally has been good. However, much of the rest of my experience has been unprofessional at best. His office has attempted to change almost every appointment I have had with him, often with little or no notice. What makes this worse is that they remind you on all their paperwork that they will charge you a fee if you try to change your appointment with less than 24 hours notice. There was one appointment where I needed to see Dr. Conley (for more than just a cleaning), and I expressed that when I was setting the appointment. When I got there I discovered that Dr. Conley decided to leave early without providing me any notice, leaving the receptionist trying to schedule another appointment with me to talk to the dentist about the very thing I came there to see him for. There was another appointment I had where I had taken a half day from work to be able to fit into the schedule, and as I was on my way to the appointment--I was coming from Rockville--I got a phone call asking me to reschedule. After I expressed the level of inconvenience this would cause me, the office decided to honor the original appointment. As for my most recent appointment, it was on the doctor's schedule for over a month. It was supposed to be at 6PM on 11/2/2017. On October 14th, I received a text message stating that my appointment had been moved from 6pm to 6:20PM without anyone having called me or asking whether that would work for me. Then on 10/30, I received my normal text message requesting confirmation, which I provided. Then in the afternoon of 11/1/2017, I got another text message that said my appointment had been cancelled. I called the office from my personal cell multiple times and got no answer, but when I decided to instead call from my office phone, my call was picked up on the first ring. The receptionist informed me that my appointment had been cancelled because Dr. Conley had arbitrarily decided the week before to send his staff for a training and that the office would be closed. She said that someone was supposed to have called me the week before. No one had called me. The only contact I had was the confirmation of my appointment. I had scheduled my work week and other events for the week around this appointment, so finding out the day before my appointment that it was cancelled because of something Dr. Conley decided to schedule AFTER my appointment had been on the schedule for more than 3 weeks is not only unprofessional, unfair to me, and unacceptable, but also communicates to me that Dr. Conley does not find my business to be important to him. To further illustrate how his office has communicated my unimportance to them, during my phone call about my cancelled appointment, I expressed my dissatisfaction with the situation. The receptionist tried to schedule another appointment for me, but I instead requested that the doctor call me about my cancelled appointment before I decide to continue with scheduling. That was last week, and I still have not received a call from Dr. Conley. Understandably, I am greatly frustrated with Dr. Conley, and I normally would stop the relationship here after consistent or customer service. But I really wanted to try to damage my customer relationship with Dr. Conley because like I said at the beginning, he is good at the his actual dentistry work. So I decided to write a letter detailing these experiences I have had and ask for some kind of resolution. But after 2 requests for resolution, it is clear I have been ignored. The dental care that Dr. Conley himself gives is good, but his customer service leaves MUCH to be desired. read more

Be aware of this practice. They are only out for money and have a daily "goal" to reach. Was given multiple Xrays by an untrained tech. Was then told that removing and refilling some enamel on my teeth would stop sensitivity which was lie that I didn't realize at the time. I agreed to the work not knowing any better. Only to be left with some material all over my teeth and gums that led to severe irritation and poorly filled teeth. When I called about the issue no call was returned. After a second call I was told I must have had an "allergic reaction". I have never in all of my years had a reaction to anything or have I since. I am now left with 3 teeth not only look horrible but will no doubt need work in the future. If only there were legal repercussions for shady dental practices. read more

Went in 8/2018 to first have an extraction on a broken tooth,and then a had a few fillings done that were way overdue.....I must say I was pleasantly surprised and 100% pleased with the customer service and I must say that Dr.Conley and his entire staff are absolutely wonderful. My experience was GREAT and the quality of work was wonderful. I will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone!!!!! read more
