What's pissing me off, is the fact that I've had some amazing experiences here the past two years;…read morehowever, yesterday the Dental Hygienist who cleaned my teeth must either hate black people, was mad at the world and/or actually I don't know what her problem was. But you would've thought I stole her man and her wallet the way that she was doing me. Her bedside manners wasn't it, she was extremely rough, the way she spoke to me was horrible, she gave me someones glasses to put on, that looked like splashes from when they got their teeth cleaned on it, rushing - it was a horrible experience. I've never seen her before, Asian short lady, just if you see someone that fits that description run for your life. Four of my bottom teeth has gaps in them now. I'm so upset!!

First-time Yelp reviewer doing community service -- save yourself. Go anywhere else…read more The dentist is fine and most of the hygienists are super sweet, but the two older ladies in the front office are genuinely scaring away patients with how much they seem to hate life. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for my first several visits because I know from experience that it's not an easy job, but as front-facing professionals in a service position they consistently gave the bare minimum in terms of respect, patience, and basic people skills. On three separate occasions I've been berated by one staff member, Lori, for accidentally making her life harder. Once, I got my appointment time wrong and showed up 30 minutes late -- completely my fault, I owned it immediately and offered to reschedule. But Lori acted like it was the most exciting thing to happen to her all day, lecturing me about respecting people's time, complaining loudly to the other receptionists, and then actually barging in during my cleaning to tell me again that they were making an exception this one time but it can't happen again. One correction would've been fine and completely warranted but the repeated harping was genuinely unprofessional. On a couple other occasions I declined to book a follow-up because I wasn't sure of my work schedule yet, and she made me super uncomfortable pushing me to explain why, where I lived, whether I understood how easy the commute was, and was I sure I didn't want to book. It was pushy and annoying and honestly kind of bizarre - I expect any doctors office to respect my decisions the first time I communicate them, not to interrogate me like a weirdo salesperson. Then, in front of a crowded waiting room, she called me out by name to scold me for not answering her calls. The number she calls from doesn't show caller ID, and like most people I don't answer unknown numbers -- especially when no voicemail is ever left. I apologized anyway because this job seems like the most important thing in her life and I didn't have the energy to remind her that I'm the one paying. My last straw was when she called to berate me for booking through ZocDoc. At one point she said "I keep having to speak to you about things. You need to stop booking online -- I mean, REALLY." Excuse me?? I calmly asked her to cancel all my future appointments because I'm finding a new dentist. She started arguing and I had to hang up on her because she wouldn't stop talking. The only reason I booked through ZocDoc in the first place was to avoid having to talk to Lori. Literally the only reason. I reached out twice to the practice email to share this feedback and got no response to either message -- but the appointment reminders kept coming because she never took me off their contact list, which is literally the first thing she should've done when I communicated I was done with their office. That, combined with the constant pushing for services I don't need, tells me this place puts profit over patients. The dental care itself is fine if you stand firm in declining super expensive procedures you don't need, but Lori is clearly long past retirement and it shows.

Afterwards, I was told that I probably needed a route canal, He made another appointment to come back to him. I have bad anxiety, so requested that he call in a prescription for me to get through the procedure. He said he would. The next day I called the pharmacy, He never called in the prescription. I was charged $385.00 for x-rays that properly won't be taken (used) by another dentist. He's disgusting and a liar. Don't be fooled by the 5 star reviews. Im not going to read the reply from Mr. Chapplle. His record of my medical history is outdated. He's office staff didn't even give me the opportunity to update my Health History from 4/8/2024. My appointment was on 2/25/2026! Another visit on March 3, 2026, I cancelled. Furthermore, one of his office staff should have given me a new health form to update my information from two years ago. Still covering up his own faults. Lastly, his office staff had my new cell number. No one from his office couldn't update me on any changes. He did go over instructions for a ride to and from his office. No matter the procedure. i cant make a comment concerning his post. i cant comment on something that not true. Nothing to be up in arms about, UNTIL I SAW THE XRAYS. JEEBUS LORD. There was a crap root canal done, first of all. Mossy importantly though, there wad this weird, cockeyed SCREW (like, aaaaaan actual SCREW) in the root bed. That was what the enormous and righteously painful abcess had formed around. What the ACTUAL. My new dentist was dumbfounded. Super professional, trying not to speak poorly of a cohort...but he went to explain it and had nothing. Spo hee redid the root canal (yaaaaaaaaaaay!), removed the rogue hardware and now I'm dandy. But over a grand more poor, and as a single mom that blows goats. Needless to say, I do NOT recommend this guy anymore.

However, after having both a dental bridge, a root canal and multiple fillings, I can say that the dentist no longer terrifies me like it did before I came to this office. I still dislike having my teeth worked on, but knowing that I won't be in pain while i'm having my teeth done is a great comfort. Doctor Granger is calm, gentle, has great chairside manners, and truly cares about how you feel while you're getting your treatments done. He checks in to make sure that you're not in pain while he's working on you. He takes time to answer any questions that you might have before and after the procedure. He is realistic, kind, and does not hurry you along. His office is minimalistic and cozy. The receptionists are always friendly and greet you warmly. His assistants are outstanding, gentle and take the time to get to know you on a personal level. If you're someone with dental anxiety, you can rest assured that Granger and his assistants will be conscious of your fears, will assure you that YOU'RE the one in control and can stop if you're uncomfortable, will provide you with sedation if need be, and will make sure that you're not in any pain.
