Each question was fielded and respected, and we walked through the answers until I had a clear picture of my procedure, care afterwards, and steps down the line. I was admittedly scared entering the process of deciding double jaw surgery was the best route. It felt as if there were so many unknowns, more so because I had never dealt with a decision like that and couldn't imagine changing my quality of life for the better after having taken steps over the years to just manage my condition. Three months post-op and I couldn't be happier with the choice I made. Each step of the way I felt incredibly supported, with an open invitation to speak about the emotions coming into play with facial surgery. Our check-ups have provided constant reassurance that any feelings I'm having (both emotional and physical) are totally normal and to be expected. Dr. Z is amazing at addressing patient concerns, and he maintains a dedication that feels as though he is with you every moment pre-op and through the recovery process. It feels amazing to know I have entrusted my care to Dr. Z and his team of bright-minded and caring individuals. They bring a very human focus to their care, understanding that there is a lot on my mind at various points. They all take the amazing effort of meeting me wherever I am mentally with patience. In choosing Dr. Z, I felt confident both about my care to come and the results I would see and feel.

Our experience with this practice has been nothing short of incredible. The office is so clean and the waiting room large enough. I would recommend using their services without reserve. Even scheduling was convenient. They simply are the best!

Our teen arrived feeling quiet and nervous, but within seconds she was laughing and bantering with the staff. That alone spoke volumes. My husband and I felt so welcomed and included throughout the entire process. We were able to go back with her before sedation, and the team was incredibly reassuring, caring, organized, and attentive every step of the way. From check-in to check-out, the energy in the office was joyful, positive, and truly synergistic. The staff made our daughter feel comfortable immediately -- asking what music she liked, explaining every step clearly, and creating such a calming and supportive environment. The office itself was impeccably clean and organized, and the aftercare instructions were thorough and thoughtful. We left with prescriptions, ice packs, gauze, detailed instructions, and complete confidence in her care. This team has mastered the perfect balance of professionalism, warmth, comfort, and fun, uplifting energy. They truly match your energy and make you feel cared for as both a patient and family member. We highly recommend Dr. Larry Bryant and his entire team. Exceptional experience from beginning to end.

All of the office staff at Dr. Menendez' office were great. They send text message appointment reminders. They were very clear up front about the charges for the procedures, and they accepted our insurance. I see other reviewers mentioning a long wait. On our first visit yesterday, after filling out the paperwork, we did wait about 45 minutes to be seen for the initial consultation. Today, when my husband returned for the procedure, he had a morning appointment and there was no delay. They are following all of the Covid-19 protocols. Dr Menendez was very clear about what he would be doing, and he met with us again after the extraction to show us the x-ray and to discuss post-surgery care and followup. I was very impressed with his clear, straightforward manner. If you are waiting, I am sure it is because he is dedicated to providing each patient with a high level of care.

I was immediately turned off from the office on my first visit, when they wouldn't allow me to brush my teeth in the office and suggested that I go to the public restroom outside of the office, due to sanitary reasons. Let me reiterate that they would not allow me to brush my teeth in the office and directed me to a public restroom. The office was not clean and very dusty (see pictures). Dr. Lipscomb was not impressive either. It never seemed care. He often came in after my cleaning unprepared. He wouldn't remember my last visit or our previous conversations about my dental care. When I said something about it, his dental hygienist tried to save him by stating that he has a lot of patients. He often put off treatments (like removing glue from my braces that he found) until the next visit. The technology and office equipment seems really dated as well. The dental hygienist that used to see me no longer works there. Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name. She had a really sweet demeanor and was the only reason I was able to tolerate continuing as a patient with this office. My last visit was the final straw. My visit for a dental cleaning was less than 30 minutes. A new dental hygienist (a young man) did my cleaning. He had no chairside manner. He did not introduce himself or talk to me or even explain what he was doing or how it may feel. He "cleaned my teeth" and did not rinse my mouth or give me mouthwash. My mouth did not feel dentist-clean when I left. I didn't even have a minty taste in my mouth. Dr. Lipscomb made a quick appearance at the end of the cleaning and I was out in less 30 mins. The one positive thing to note is the office has mastered seamless text communication to notify one of visits and procedures for coming into the office for appointments.

First-time Yelp reviewer doing community service -- save yourself. Go anywhere else…read more The dentist is fine and most of the hygienists are super sweet, but the two older ladies in the front office are genuinely scaring away patients with how much they seem to hate life. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for my first several visits because I know from experience that it's not an easy job, but as front-facing professionals in a service position they consistently gave the bare minimum in terms of respect, patience, and basic people skills. On three separate occasions I've been berated by one staff member, Lori, for accidentally making her life harder. Once, I got my appointment time wrong and showed up 30 minutes late -- completely my fault, I owned it immediately and offered to reschedule. But Lori acted like it was the most exciting thing to happen to her all day, lecturing me about respecting people's time, complaining loudly to the other receptionists, and then actually barging in during my cleaning to tell me again that they were making an exception this one time but it can't happen again. One correction would've been fine and completely warranted but the repeated harping was genuinely unprofessional. On a couple other occasions I declined to book a follow-up because I wasn't sure of my work schedule yet, and she made me super uncomfortable pushing me to explain why, where I lived, whether I understood how easy the commute was, and was I sure I didn't want to book. It was pushy and annoying and honestly kind of bizarre - I expect any doctors office to respect my decisions the first time I communicate them, not to interrogate me like a weirdo salesperson. Then, in front of a crowded waiting room, she called me out by name to scold me for not answering her calls. The number she calls from doesn't show caller ID, and like most people I don't answer unknown numbers -- especially when no voicemail is ever left. I apologized anyway because this job seems like the most important thing in her life and I didn't have the energy to remind her that I'm the one paying. My last straw was when she called to berate me for booking through ZocDoc. At one point she said "I keep having to speak to you about things. You need to stop booking online -- I mean, REALLY." Excuse me?? I calmly asked her to cancel all my future appointments because I'm finding a new dentist. She started arguing and I had to hang up on her because she wouldn't stop talking. The only reason I booked through ZocDoc in the first place was to avoid having to talk to Lori. Literally the only reason. I reached out twice to the practice email to share this feedback and got no response to either message -- but the appointment reminders kept coming because she never took me off their contact list, which is literally the first thing she should've done when I communicated I was done with their office. That, combined with the constant pushing for services I don't need, tells me this place puts profit over patients. The dental care itself is fine if you stand firm in declining super expensive procedures you don't need, but Lori is clearly long past retirement and it shows.

Second time here good service friendly staff. They don't push services on you but will provide you…read morewith an array of options to fit your need.
