I went back to PV twice and they suggested returning to Modern Focus as the lenses matched the script. The Dr at MF said my vision changed and gave me less of a correction. I feel her 11/25 script was inaccurate but she said no and charge me $60 for the new one because I didn't buy glasses there. What a rip off! PV is making my new lenses for free. Now that's good customer service. Oh, and I was the doctor's first appt of the day and she arrived 15 minutes late to work. Like my time isn't worth anything? Needless to say, I canceled my next exam. I went to Dr Gould for years and always received excellent care and customer service. MF could use a little training on both areas.

I could not read with my new glasses. That'll be good with migraines. It took them weeks to believe that I could not read with the new glasses, then another 2 weeks to redo my glasses. I knew when I put them on and told them I could not read. Second, I asked him about eye pain that I was experiencing. He said it was dry eyes and to use over-the-counter eye drops. No further instructions, no personal attention. His assistant did all the work, he spent 1 minute reviewing her evaluation. A year later, I went to another eye doctor and was told to use 3 types of eye drops 5-6 times per day.

She said if I did not pay it now they would add a fee to the $40 when they bill me. The office manager was not much better, asking me to sign a form that a service that was covered, I still needed to sign that I would be responsible for it. Did nt make any sense at all - then she said I was good. Wow, I almost walked out due to their rudeness and miss reputation However, Erica made up for the unprofessional treatment the front desk showed me. And Dr Hardik Patel was kind and thorough durning his exam and treatment. I am sure that management has no idea how unprofessional the front desk staff is. Maybe they should send in a "Ghost" patient so they can see for themselves.

She didn't even know the answers to simple questions about eye exams and had to put me on hold for over 10 min so she could check with her supervisor. Then she didn't know the price of the contact lens fitting exam. Then, when I asked if they accept my insurance it was impossible to get a straightforward answer it was clear she had no clue what she was saying. Later, I called their other location to doublecheck and got completely different answers. It was also an ordeal. Again, the person I spoke with was rude and abrupt. They are so vague about insurances they accept, or about the final cost you can expect to pay. Then they e-mail forms to sign requiring you to pay upfront for things that are routinely covered by insurance. Everything there is so chaotic and disorganized. And don't even dare ask another question because you will be snapped at. I can only imagine when one gets a bill from them. Most likely you will be overcharged and nobody in their office will cooperate with you to resolve any billing issues.....or even understand what you are calling about. Not the sharpest knives in the drawer, to say the very least. Stay away from this practice!!!!!!

My exam was done basically in the hallway because there was no room. When Dr. Noecker came into the exam room, he said "You know how this goes, right?" Well, no I don't. I'm not an ophthalmologist and it was going to be my first surgery of any kind. He explained the procedure to me, but not the possible problems that may occur during or after the surgery. I read his reviews on other sites & saw a lot of "1 stars" with major complaints so I have decided to cancel my surgery and go with another ophthalmologist.

I had a broken shoulder surgically repaired last week, my dominant/writing hand. My arm is immobilized. I asked if there was another way I could provide the information because I was left-handed and would have trouble filling out the paperwork. The person I was speaking to went around the corner to ask someone else and I heard her say 'he can fill it out with his right hand.' I walked around the corner and said, 'you've got to be kidding me, there's no other way I can provide this information to you? What if someone has a disability, how would they do this?' The response was 'Their aid would fill it out.' I just took my insurance card and id and left while saying, 'or perhaps you could have provided the paperwork in advance, provide it electronically, or let me answer the questions verbally like every other office has been able to do.' I've had multiple first-time office visits in the past few weeks due to the broken shoulder. Very hard for me to politely explain how obnoxious and unnecessarily rude this was. Not to mention how out of line the response to the disability question was.

Young man was very insensitive to our situation. AND RUDE. Two weeks in a row we had 2:15 appointments. At 3:30 we hadn't seen the doctor yet! After the check in the young man was given my wife's file. He presided down the hall and was doing something on a computer. While cit catting with co workers. After that he went in to one of the rooms to talk to another co worker. 25 minutes after her initial appointment he proceeded to call her. I explained that my wife had a 4:00pm appointment else where, and could we be seen in the next hour and a half. His answer was = We don't work by time, we go by patients. And there are 8 in front of you. if each patient took 15 minutes which they take much more than that. That's 2 hours ! That is not expectable. Many of the other patients were complaining also, how many left? They thing they have the only show in town. Many of business that have thought that way are not in business anymore ! Who ever runs that office better wake up and watch what's going on.

She was so kind, and was able to locate what turned out to be a piece of metal in my eye and remove it without me feeling a thing and made sure I had antibiotic drops and lubricant at my disposal. It's been a full day now, and though it's not totally back to normal, my eye is safe. When the time comes for me to have my next exam, I'll be visiting Dr.Seymour.

The economic payoff for Robbins is much higher in billing through medical insurance. When I complained, they said they would deduct the $50 co-pay from my bill so I would not see a difference--the first of many lies. Bills after two years, I called them on an $80 balance and paid $60 to end the BS; they "waived" the $20, or so they said. Another three years, and they send a $20 bill every three months. Today I paid the "waived $20 to end their larceny. How desperate is this operation? They spent three years collecting $20, which they had waived. Do not fall for the BS coming out of this place.
