I'm an avid Mind Body app user, so I was able to register for a drop-in class for Saturday at 9:30am with Jen. I felt really welcomed in the lovely studio. Jen helped get my friend and I setup for the class. She proactively set up mats with towels by the door and explained expectations for the class. Based on the class description, I thought the class was going to be a regular vinyasa class. Jen explained that the class was like a hot yoga/vinyasa fusion, which I enjoyed a lot. When I first started my yoga practice, I was doing a lot of Bikram so I totally saw the elements of Bikram interweaved in the flow. I liked the vinyasa flow elements as well, which is my own personal preference these days. I got a great sweat and walked out feeling cleansed and grounded.

I took a power yoga class and was a little nervous Intel. I showed up and realized every class is welcoming of all levels. The studio was incredibly clean, including the yoga mat that I borrowed. If you forget your mat, they are available to rent. Props like yoga blocks, yoga, straps, blankets, and bolsters are available at no charge. This studio has a strong community atmosphere, and is not intimidating. I think this is an excellent place for people continuing their practice or just giving yoga a try for the first time.

When a friend suggested Pilates at this location, I started learning to do this on the Reformer at Motion on Mainstreet and was surprised that it was very helpful for my back. I now attend class twice a week and have seen great improvement in my back along with greater core strength and improved posture. Recently I climbed 3 flights of stairs without pain, which was not something I could do 8 months ago. The instructor takes into account the prior physical difficulties of each student and makes individual adjustments smoothly and without ever embarrassing a student. I'm 71 years old and only wish I had become a student here a long time ago.

Shoes off at the entrance and you check in with the reception desk. They have cubbies for you belongings and the whole store front has clothing and accessories for sale. The yoga studio was already warm, but not hot yoga level. We used a bolster and two blocks for our session. Christina was really good addressing us to listen to our bodies and not necessarily her voice, because we all know that we're built different individually. I had a really relaxing time and definitely stretched out parts that needed a little extra work. I felt my toxins left my body last night and I was revive.
