That mean little snot of a manager accused me of not paying after my monthly membership ran out but I still had credits left. I had to explain it to her in detail on multiple separate occasions and I could tell she didn't believe me. She actually argued with me once about it and I was so taken aback by her entitled attitude. I avoided her classes at all costs because she's SO mean and judgmental -- the opposite of why people go to yoga. She's critical of everyone around her and constantly makes passive aggressive comments that ruin the mood. She's the reason I ultimately cancelled my membership. Her bad vibes stank up the studio. Randomly MONTHS later I got a charge for $167 on my credit card for a "monthly membership" when that's not even the current rate per the website. Every time I called to have it fixed they played dumb, so I had to call the bank to have it reversed. That snot of a manager committed fraud because she's too dumb to do basic math and read the fine print! Don't go to this studio unless you like mean girls and getting charged for fraudulent transactions.

But to have an instructor using profanity to motivate students- was a bit much for me. It was my first time in Kerry's class and I have to say it was a complete turnoff. Yelling at students "F that shit up" and "Let that shit go" can't be apart of the training she received to be an instructor. I am still very shocked that this is acceptable behavior. Judging by looking around the room, others felt the same way. It was terrible-is this what yoga has turn into??

The low impact and exceptional core work is my favorite. I'm new to this side of town and decided to give this place a try. I am highly disappointed. Studio is nice and clean. Pricy but most reformer classes are. Yuan was my instructor and bc of her, I won't be back to try a different class or instructor. It was so bad. I felt like she knew a great deal about Pilates but not fitness or anatomy I'm general. I'm not a Pilates expert by any means, but I do work in fitness and consider myself to be pretty fit. I was so belittled with her passive aggressive comments throughout class. Everything from "you're fit but not Pilates fit" to "this is not for everyone" came out of her mouth. I felt like she thrived on making people feel small around her. I was definitely not the only one uncomfortable. Pilates is for everyone and so is all of fitness. Do yourself a favor and go to Boost Pilates instead.

You had to wait until the billing goes through to book a class but by then you were often on a wait list and didn't get in. Then you would get the next two classes, but then when you go to book the third you would have a problem if it were within a few days of your next billing date. The system would ask you for a credit card. I cancelled my membership because of not liking to get ripped off but of course they had a reason to charge me again since I didn't give them the complete thirty day notice. I would recommend not using them if you don't like to waste your money.

If it's your first time then you have to use one of the tablets to sign a waiver; this only takes a minute or two. Once signed you'll show your ID to the staff upfront. It's a quick check in. This interactive gym that's got climbing walls, a yoga studio and a regular exercising area are spacious and clean. I mostly saw young/younger generations of people but didn't you worry; I'm very much middle aged and although it was my first time climbing today and I was able to manage most of the beginner/entry level ones with no issues. We all did some sort of climbing when we were younger, right? Then all you have to do is to let that younger self come out of you!! Depending on your experience level, you'll get to pick where you want to do your climbing (the levels are clearly marked.) It was a busy night at this fun gym but people were very respectful to each other taking turns. I walked around the entire facility to check things out and I was impressed as to how immaculately they maintain the place. Even women's locker room was extremely clean with no trash or whatsoever. I didn't realize that climbing was also a good cardio workout. This was much needed exercise for me for sure. If you end up making blisters just walk up to the front desk and ask for a band-aide or two. They appear to have several locations in the Denver metro area so if you see one in your neighborhood go check it out. ***Note*** You can rent climbing shoes so you don't need to own them. Make sure you soak yourself in a warm bath with epsom salt after the climbing because you WILL be sore (LOL)!

But the climbing compared to the other gyms was just meh. Englewood is still the biggest Movement location in Colorado as of April 2024. Work was still being done in the women's locker room and hang boards were still pending as of April 6, 2024. Parking was plentiful. That was nice. There wasn't a lot of seating next to outlets. Nothing special here either - there was talk of a sauna and/or steam room but I guess it didn't pan out. But a nice option for climbing if you are in the area.

Painted Rock Family Medicine was recommended by several people I know and trust. It happens to be very close to my office, which is extremely convenient. Their website is easy to navigate and I was able to look at the entire medical team. I was able to choose Darla who happens to be the founder and owner of Painted Rock. Unlike other doctor offices I did not have to wait weeks or months for an appointment. You can also upload information on their website to simplify the paperwork needed for their records. When I arrived for my appointment check in was simple and I did not wait more than 5 minutes to be taken back to a room. The medical assistant Danny was friendly and took all of my vitals. I met with Darla and did not feel rushed as I have at other doctors. Darla is personable, helpful and actually listened to my concerns. I had some blood work done and was informed of charges that would be additional from my annual physical exam. Based on my initial visit I am so happy to have found Painted Rock Family Medicine. I double checked to make sure this location was in network with my insurance and it was. But I did not know they were going to send my bloodwork from a yearly physical to a hospital in Cheyenne Wells, CO which is considered out of network. So even though I have never set foot in this hospital, I am getting an almost $2000 bill from them. In the paperwork I received from Painted Rock I can see that they say they send their lab work out, but I am unable to find any mention of Keefe Memorial Hospital in Cheyenne Wells, CO. This has been a very expensive headache and has been very frustrating.
