So after calling, literally, 20 physical therapists... I found Dr. Barnes. No one recommended this…read moreplace to me; just saw this random spot on google maps and called. This place was able to take me in and help me with my wrist problems right away with a doctor's prescription (which you need). I would say 15 places that I called, I had to leave a message and they got back to me a day or two after. Not.Cool. Not to mention when I tried to schedule an appointment, I would have to wait over two weeks. I didn't realize it would be so hard finding a physical therapist. Shocked no one has written about Dr. Barnes. Boy, did I find something very wonderful. VERY Where to begin? I have seen other patients and he helps with everything; back, legs, arms, hands, neck, post-surgery, arthritis... The staff... way cool. Too cool for school. They rock to oldies which I like (or whatever you prefer), they are so sweet, very caring, and will help you every step of the way. HE IS GOOD. If you need physical therapy, go to him. Or I should say I recommend him to you if you want (deep breath in): to take care of your problem NOW, someone who actually cares, a clean (too clean) facility, to be surrounded by the most friendliest of people, a nice and refrigerator cold for everyone exercising, and free candy. Parking, no problem, there's a huge endless lot outside. He (plus staff) genuinely cares and the most important part... he listens and DOES SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Now that is what I like. If you hate pain like me, this place is very catering towards pain. Hooking you up to electric massaging or ultrasound is always fun. If you don't mind pain, I'm sure you will do your physical therapy much faster than me. But when it comes to your body, it is not about how fast, it is about how well you take care of it. And another great part is the jar of candy that stares at you every time you leave. Dum Dums you make my day sweeter. I couldn't be happier I found this place and I couldn't be happier to write this Yelp for this place. Amazing... and I don't say that often. I 120% recommend this place if you want a great physical therapist. Oh and by appointments... one time I called thirty minutes before an appointment to schedule that appointment. He can take you in. Currently, he works at the medical center in the A.M. and from 1:30pm-6pm he's at the Beorne Stage location.

What makes Barnes better? The personal attention. This is not one of those huge facilities where…read moreyou end up as a nameless face in the crowd but a smaller operation where they greet you by name and pay personal attention to your exercises. Barnes Physical Therapy goes out of their way to work with you and your insurance. They offer different locations to serve you better and don't mind if you go to one place on this day and another location on the next. The physical therapist is always kind and courteous as is his staff. I really enjoy going here and recommend it without reservation.

Caryn and the entire team are excellent and it may not be pretty, or painless, but they are doing an amazing job. Therapist Caryn Kadous knew I was injured and didn't say anything about it. Didn't know how to handle the situation, and when I asked for help, ignored the issues. This was one of many reasons I needed to leave and seek help elsewhere. TPT, Director-Jordan Mazick, and Caryn Kadous, need to really think about future patient care, and how they can better perform. How to better prepare and show empathy in gaining their future patience trust. When you advise the Director-Jordan Mazick of all the faults going on and Jordan Mazick particularly doesn't like it and treats you as if you didn't belong there for three years as a patient. Jordan advised me my kind didn't belong here. Not sure what this means. I live in Fair Oaks Ranch. Besides, it doesn't matter where you reside, all patience should be welcomed. BCBS requested my medical records (Twice), from Caryn Kadous and TPT of Boerne, Texas and these letters were ignored. This resulted in me obtaining these records myself as per HIPPA Law I or BCBS are allowed to obtain these records without issues. Please note I became injured at Texas Physical Therapy under the care of Caryn Kadous. An MRI, the timeline simply align with these results. This has been confirmed through my Orthopedic doctor, and my primary doctor. I have advised "all" of my doctors that TPT in Boerne, Texas is not the place they need to send their patience. I now have a frozen shoulder due to my injury working with Caryn Kadous with Texas Physical Therapy in Boerne, Texas. This injury can take anywhere from 1-3 years to heal. Mind you I did advise Caryn Kadous that I was having issues with my shoulder while I was working with Caryn and was ignored. This is "another" reason why I left TPT of Boerne, Texas. I had a perfectly healthy shoulder prior to entering Texas Physical Therapy of Boerne, Texas. I specially came here for a different reason all together. Both Jordan Mazick, and Caryn Kadous need to be re-evaluated in the ways of being a director and evaluations of caring for their patients and what to look for with injuries to their patients. I felt this was most important to have this posted as I don't want anyone else to have these issues.

As a combat…read moreveteran and most recently involved in a vehicle accident, I've been nursing some injuries for a long time. I'm talking about aches, pains, and stiffness that made me feel like I was just one broken limb away from being a walking human origami. Enter the dream team at Results PT: a group of incredibly talented and downright fun professionals who somehow made the entire rehab process feel like a party (minus the hangover). Not only have they managed to reduce years of pain to the point where I'm actually starting to feel like a real human being again, but they do it with such energy and enthusiasm that even my most stubborn joints can't help but loosen up. I'm pretty sure they have some sort of magic touch, or maybe they're all secretly superheroes in disguise. The atmosphere here is impeccable--it's like a cross between a wellness spa and a comedy club. I'm not saying they should quit their day jobs, oh no no no let's not give them ideas, but the banter is so good, I actually look forward to my appointments just for the laughs. You never know if you're going to get a pep talk or a joke, but either way, you leave feeling better (physically and mentally). In short: if you're in pain and need some relief with a side of fun, this is the place. They're basically the Avengers of physical therapy, only instead of saving the world, they're saving your back, your knees, and your sanity. Oh, and the only injury you'll have after this place is most likely going to be from laughing too hard. Thanks, Results PT--my body is no longer plotting against me!

I appreciated the prompt care response and have been impressed with the all the PT team's knowledge and 'tender touch' skills that 'resulted' in my rehab recovery . After 12 weeks, my knee implant feels apart of me and my muscle strength has recovered nicely. I am very excited about that! Many thanks to Oscar Solis DPT, Aaron Fernando BS and Hannah Musser DPT for their caring, compassion, camaraderie and teamwork that made the work of PT such a positive and fun experience! Only one small concern, the reception area is very small and could use more privacy. However, Gabriel the receptionist was always cheerful, helpful and kept on top of insurance and scheduling for me. Thanks you all, I couldn't have done it without you!

Well, I'm going to be honest: usually, I'm not one to write reviews. However, after five weeks (and…read morecounting) of superb, compassionate care, I simply must let the inter-web know about Christian and the folks at Foundation Physical Therapy! Long story short, I viciously fractured my left femur while saving orphan children and various at-risk youth from a burning building in June 2014. After surgeons successfully placed a titanium rod through the injured bone, I was referred to Mr. Compean and Foundation Physical Therapy. Having broken the strongest and "most difficult bone to break" in the human body, my expectations were bleak and unpromising to say the least. My experience began with Tracy, the office manager, on my first day. With the phones incessantly ringing and patients waiting to be checked-in, she stopped what she was doing and happily rushed to the door to help me as I pitifully crutched in. Instantly, I knew I was in the right place. Christian, co-owner and Physical Therapist extraordinaire, is the best thing to happen to my leg since the calf-machine at the gym in eighth grade - he is PHENOMENAL. He actually takes the time to get to know you and genuinely wants you to get better! Unsurprisingly, it reflects in his care. After just four weeks, I went from stepping like a newborn fawn on wintry ice to walking almost 100% pain-free! What caught me off-guard was with what ease and accuracy Christian was able to diagnose the origin of individual nagging pains I experienced in my recovery and how well he educated me on how to prevent them from happening again. The provider is extremely "textbook smart" and has great hands, my friends! I have no doubt that when I'm completely finished with my treatment with Christian, I'll actually be stronger and faster than I was pre-injury. If you're looking for a place that exemplifies thorough and complete care, while at the same time makes you feel like actual family as opposed to "just another insurance reimbursement check," I absolutely recommend you visit Tracy, Christian and the gang at Foundation Physical Therapy!

Unfortunately, PAM was not up for the challenge. The nursing and tech staff were good enough. We enjoyed Cyndi, the Sarahs and Meliza especially. He had speech therapy every day. He had OT a few days and PT even less. So much less that in his discharge paperwork, the PT sign off was left blank. They couldn't even attest as to any level of progress. And PT was the main reason he was there. I inquired with scheduling and they said they were short staffed. I reached out to the CEO who came to his room and said she'd look into it and get back to me. Again, sadly no follow through. The OT intimated that he was difficult to work with and that may have been what PT encountered also - so blaming my husband for PT not coming? Really? I'm not saying my husband is the easiest guy in the world to work with but at least show up. I've already had one occasion to steer others clear of the disappointing results we saw and will continue to do so.

I was a patient at Pam Rehabilitation Hospital after surgery…read more The staff told me they could handle all my medical needs, but when I developed a painful rash that turned into an infection, they refused to let me go to the ER or follow my surgeon's orders. My surgeon had prescribed two important medications -- one for nerve-endin' pain and another to treat the rash before it became infected. The hospital removed both prescriptions and substituted ineffective treatments. The caseworker told me they were giving me the same medicine, but that wasn't true. Their own documentation confirms this. Because my nerve-endin' pain medication was withheld and the infection worsened, the pain became unbearable. My skin grew so sensitive that even a brush of fabric or a breeze caused me to scream in pain. Instead of helping, some staff made fun of me and yelled at me for reacting -- even though their neglect caused the problem. They also refused to provide the pain medicine immediately, even in that situation. I have documents and photos showing the difference in care, including pictures of my incision site two days after arrival and again five days later, clearly showing how the infection spread. Once I left and received the correct medications from my surgeon, the rash and pain began to improve right away. Please Look at the proof attached of the actual type of care they give before using Pam Rehabilitation Hospital for post-surgical recovery or wound care
