They fixed all my trouble tickets(three tickets) expeditiously and accurately. The management folks are awesome, especially the Assistant Property Manager, Alexzandra. She has been very helpful since day one. Whenever the staff of 11 East/The Carling put together community events, Alexzandra made sure to accommodate the best she could, whether it was food, locations or any other preferences. They even throw holiday congregations. I wish I had more time on my hands to attend the events but the few I've been to were always a blast. Even the small things were appreciated, such as the welcome home bag they gave me. The staffs' energy always emitted a positive one. Alexzandra's efforts as well as everyone else's are deeply appreciated, and I truly believe 11 East and The Carling are among the best in North East Florida if not all of Florida because of them. About the building and my unit: My unit, which was a studio, was great! The walls are extremely dense and thick. Hard concrete floor and ceiling I believe. Barely heard anything other than the city life outside. I lived on the 8th floor and sometimes I forget I had any neighbors. The common areas of the apartment building such as the lounges and gyms are very clean and aesthetically pleasing. There's a food spot on the corner right outside the apartment building called Super Foods, which has/had a 10% resident discount if you live in 11 East(not sure about The Carling though) There's a Burrito Gallery across the street and closes late if you're looking for that midnight snack. Downsides: --Parking for guests can be limited. Especially if you're thinking about having overnight guests BUT I do believe the apartment did or still do have visitor parking passes --Both 11 East and The Carling are lacking some gym equipment..if they had a squat rack, it would make my 99.98% love for the place to a 99.99% --Sometimes the gated garage opens on its own. --Not a lot of spots for dogs to take a phat dump on in the immediate area.(plenty of spots to pee on though) --My name was one of the first to appear on the buzzer and people would spam it sometimes. I would ask for a verbal password but no one knows it so I deny access all the time. It's great. --Only reason why I don't have 100% love for this place is because....I wanted more vegan options at the events. More good stuff: --Plenty of Pokemon Go opportunities. --Absolutey zero bugs on the 8th floor.

If there are maintenance issues or concerns the maintenance staff generally responds within the same day. The staff is friendly and accommodating and residents that I've met have all been so nice and helpful. Everyone in my building generally watch out for one another - very neighborly. The office just added some Adirondack chairs around the pond areas of the property, updating the landscaping and installed a hammock by the pool. In other apartment complexes where I've lived I haven't been able to see where my rent payments are going other than just to pay for the current property and staff. It's really nice to see improvements around the property. I also really like the monthly newsletter and monthly events for residents. The community here is welcoming and a place I'm happy to call home! I'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a new apartment to call home!

Oh they will be very, very, nice, helpful and oh how can I help you. THIS IS SERIOUS: My Experience as a single woman: I was stalked and harassed by their male tenant of 4yrs in building 15 who is married and lived next door to me. I sent an email to Luna.(mind you she claimed she had no clue as we were discussing all the extra charges on me moving out. Luna was covering her you know what) but I told them (I have emailed proof I sent it). I was being harassed constantly by his verbal sexual advances of telling me not to tell his wife that he came to my door asking me if I wanted to smoke and that he can help me around my apartment because he is very handy and that he doesn't mind coming over when I need him because he doesn't like his wife of over 20 something yrs. No thank you. A tree would have a better chance with me. He said, "It's cheaper to keep her." And the main reason why I try to put up with it is because he told me was moving away in 3 months. And in his sneaking over he said he was just released from a mental hospital and that he was in the psych ward for 2 weeks. I notice after the ward. He was ringing off my ring cam a lot more just to ask if I needed anything. That's when things got even more unbearable. I started being stalked and followed to work. Now the first time it happens I'm like no can't be him. That would be weird. As I walked into my job I saw his truck. And I'm like no that can't be. Well then I check my Ring cam 2 mins after I left, he left. Smh!!!! More sexual verbal harassment and yes my boyfriend wanted to do something and 23 yr old my son wanted to do something because they were scared for me if one of them couldn't meet me at my car as I parked. And I told them: One he is on mental med(s) (he told me) and two he carries a pocket gun ( he told me) three my encounter with him was under the influence of alcohol and Marijauana (because he sneaked over 2 mins after his wife left and asked me if I wanted to smoke with him and showed me it). No I don't smoke. I don't know how to smoke. I even told my co worker's and my clients who are officers what should I do and should I make a police report and break my lease. My true talking to people to see if they ever dealt with this situation before and how they would handle it. I stayed as long as I could because the apt is close to my 2 jobs and close to my son's college. But more importantly, He said he will be working in another State soon or moving in 3 months. Well that never happened. So my year renewal lease with the Elements was miserable and there was no peace when I parked, enter or leave building 15. There was times I had to either not go home or stay at my boyfriends who lives 45 mins away from the apt. Or even timed my arrival's when my son got off from work. I was stalked for the entire year extension of my lease renewal. To sum this up: At first I didn't realize he was watching me. I just thought hmm he and always run into each other. He is either in his truck when I leave or when I come back home. Hmm strange we have the same schedule. Naw he is married and that would be just weird. And I know since he is watching me he had to seen my new relationship with my boyfriend. So why would he continue to harass me? He did!!!! I truly feel sorry for his wife. I did not tell her because you never know how that would turn out. He could lose it and she be harm. I did not want that on my conscience. Or she doesn't believe me. Either/or! But a mental disorder can be unpredictable especially when one uses substances. On my departure they charged me all these bogus fees. Almost $400 dollars. All I asked Luna for was to cut those bogus charges for my peace being disturbed for a year. Luna said to me, " If I do it for you then I have to do it for everyone"! There are treadmills and stationary bikes with televisions set up for you to watch while you exercise, but the weight equipment is very limited. For me, the gym would do just fine, but for hubby (he lifts a good bit) the gym doesn't even come close to meeting his needs. So, if you're a lifter like my hubby is, you'll need to get a gym membership somewhere else. The restrooms for the pool/gym area are clean and well-appointed. There are regular showers as well as a steam shower, a changing area, and lockers. Although, I must say I'm confused by the lockers. They are there, but there are no keys in them. As far as amenities go their is plenty to do. They have a pool with water fountain and outdoor jacuzzi accompanied by plenty of comfy lounge chairs for those who are looking to get a tan, they also have plenty of tables and chairs with shaded umbrellas that are perfect for those who want to make a full day of the pool and bring along a cooler packed with food and drink, and for those who want that extra bit of luxury they have a few covered marble huts complete with ceiling fans and tables and chairs. The best part is you don't need to worry about your kiddos wandering into the pool area with out you and accidentally drowning bc it's completely gated in and you need a fob to open get in! They also have awesome locker rooms that offer regular showers as well as a state of the art steam shower room, and hand washing areas as well as the obvious access to toilets, plus a huge changing area complete with benches by the lockers and outlets for all your hair dryers, etc. Then theirs the fully stocked gym with t.v.'s at pretty much every stationary machine in the gym, and if you just want to read a book in a cozy chair while your spouse or friend works out they have that as well! I've actually seen people have their weddings here, and I'm not joking. All you have to do is call the office ahead of time and reserve the date that you want to hold your upcoming bash and then they will ask for a deposit in case anything gets broken, did I mention your party comes with a security guard to make sure only your guests and the people that you want their are allowed in on that day! everyone else is sol from the main salon on your party day! Once your party is over and everything is back in it's place the guard will do a run through with you before he locks it up at the end, ensuring you get your deposit back! $100.00 is a lot better of a price for all the stuff you get and can do at this space vs. other places I've seen! Then theirs the tennis courts and basket ball court, as well as all of the walking trails, not to mention if you have a dog you don't have to worry about buying your own poop bags as they have them located throughout the complex hanging above the doggie garbage waste baskets. Then theirs the location your right across the street from the Tinseltown theater and all of the restaurants, plus if you go straight across Southside Blvd. you have the Publix shopping center and CVS. If you go towards Gate parkway you can either go to the Tapestry park shops and restaurants, ie. Starbucks, III Forks, Orange Leaf, Jacksonville Running Co., or you could be at the St. John's Town Center just as fast. When I bought this condo it was a foreclosure, and the previous owners took every appliance that they could remove, but now that I've been here for three years I've made this condo my own! In the time I've been here the only time I've seen a fire/rescue vehicle was when someone is sick, and not for violence, that's a big plus in my book. One last thing I forgot to mention was that they have trash pick up three times a week as well so if you don't like taking your trash to the dumpster, here they will come to your door step three times a week and take as many bags of trash as you leave them!

Maintenance request are closed without resolution. The list is long.. the pics are staged.. be careful of non working bathrooms and mold. My greatest day this year when my movers took my last piece of furniture from this dump!
