Polite and cordial moving team. Slowly loaded the truck. They did not place all the items in the requested locations at the new home. Instead they took the easy route and left some boxes and furniture in the garage and basement. The team was unable to complete job within the documented estimated timeframe, even though there was less furniture and packing needed, since estimate was originally created. At the new home they punctured a hole in the ceiling, damaged banister and beautiful wooden stairs, and knocked off a large tree limb in the front of the house. The moving team significantly stained a cream sofa, severely nicked two solid wooden bed frames, damaged (and removed) TV, broke a circle light stand, lost silverware, etc. A sampling of images provided. Owner wont honor the balance agreed upon a few hours into the move --- and --- is not willing to replace or deduct for damage, lost or removed items. Furthermore, he will not deduct for any repairs needed to furniture or new home. This was a very disappointing experience on what was expected to be a happy day in a charming new home! read more

We chose Conrad based on the impressive reviews and their seemingly professional reputation. I was completely willing to pay the premium price for what I thought were experienced movers since we were making a cross country move. I could not be more disappointed. When we arrived at our destination we had two completely destroyed bookcases, scratched front of freezer door, a dent and footprint on our dryer from someone standing on it to load boxes, numerous dinged and scratched furniture pieces. We notified Conrad three times and sent pictures and were told we would hear back from the owner, but we never did. I truly expected more from this company. read more

I used this business to store my belongings for a few months then they moved my things to Lexington. I highly recommend you have a number system for your boxes and buy the extra insurance. I had a kitchen box lost and just discovered a box of Christmas things missing. Reimbursement without insurance doesn't cover hardly anything Staff is friendly movers were efficient. The company doesn't mark/tag boxes as they load so you can have a list of what they are moving. read more

The company called me the day before my move to confirm everything. Early on the morning of my move the movers reached out to me to let me know that they were on the way. They arrived as promised. Best movers I have ever used. A bit pricey but in the end I decided they were worth it. Jimmy showed up quickly to estimate the move. 4000 sq ft house, moved about 25 miles. Moving day, top notch crew showed up exactly on time. Torrential rains occurred during part of the day. Wet guys stayed outside, dry guys worked inside. Everything covered and protected. They layed Cardboard for all traffic areas, cling wrap on carpeted stairs. Cheerful friendly bunch throughout. No damage to my stuff, no walls marred. Fast and efficient, yet careful. They disassembled EVERYTHING and reassembled at destination exactly where we wanted. All we did was sit back and watch. Initial estimate was 1.5 days; done in ten hours including a lunch break. Final bill was lower than estimate because we boxed some things prior and I paid cash. Recommended without reservation. I have never been completely satisfied with previous moving companies.
