If we weren't confined to get out that day (closing day), I would have told them to leave and hired someone else. They 'forgot' the wrap for the furniture, so we had to scramble last minute and empty all the drawers into garbage bags and take them ourselves. It took them 9 hours to move a 2,000 sqft house, and they just stuck stuff everywhere. I found boxes of clothes clearly marked 'Bedroom' in the garage; we found parts of our bed inn the basement, etc. They damaged every piece of furniture they moved, scratched up the brand new hickory hardwood floors and newly painted walls in the new house. When I complained I was offered $200 compensation, and told to file with my homeowner's insurance for the rest!! -it took two weeks to get the $200 back. Spend the money on a reputable, known moving company. Zero stars if that was a choice!

We ended up with a brand new roof, siding, new Wood under the siding, gutters, and gutter helmets. Sam was invaluable through the entire process, meeting with our insurance company to make sure everything was covered, meeting them at the home when we were at work, calls, picking out our shingles and siding, the entire process really. Even when a wrench was thrown in the process (our home is older and apparently had no wood underneath the siding!) they were able to get all new wood installed as a code upgrade in 1 day, and get insurance to cover that too. Luckily they do good employees. The employees took it to my basement and cleaned it. They told me I could put it back in 24 hours. I lifted the rug and the floor was moist. I think it was moist enough that it could have damaged my wood floors. I have tried twice to call them today and get an answering machine. If you have padding I think they're fine. I flipped the 11'x8' rug over to finish drying for day two. I'm glad I had a basement to clean it in and the carried it down to clean it. Your call.
