They conveniently forget telling me I could make payments and even tho they start out seeming very nice to work with, turn to taking a nasty tone quickly. I would not recommend working with them. I'm somewhat shocked at the high review scores they have other places and will be sure to share my experience there as well. I have also notified GAF of my experience and have requested their bond information more than once in case I have to pursue remedy that way.

He completed the new roof on time avoiding storms that were on the way. We also had an existing leak. Jim stated that the leak would be corrected along with the new roof. Two months later the leak returned, this has always been in my mind a design error by the builder. I don't blame Jim for the leak, but it became worse after an attempted repair on his part. Haus came back to do new repairs and found two issues in the same area of the roof. The man was on my roof doing repairs in lightning and rain, crazy! The heavy rain that day stayed out of the attic, I need more time with storms to test the repair. My complaint is that Haus isn't the best at having a timely response via text or calls but he can be trusted. I've used him for many years.

There was a storm that came on 3/15/2024 that required an insurance adjuster/advisor to do an assessment for potential damage. The adjuster informed us that they are severe issues with this roof installation and it is causing wet decking from pipe boot leaks, there was no starter strip installed, there is 2 different types of roof vents installed. In some of the overpayment of the shingles was done incorrectly causing algae and moisture build up. This was devastating news. When I called and messages Haus Roofing I didn't hear back for about a week. Then a man named John Land called me back and laughed on the phone at me and told me this is the homeowner insurances' problem. "If ANYONE goes on my roof it is no longer covered on the warranty. Which is not correct in the contract it states if another company does work on the roof the warranty is void. We have made multiple more calls and left multiple messages for Jimmy Haus but he refuses to call us and to honor our warranty.

They were very professsional from start to finish. The appraiser arrived on time for a complete walk around and measurement. He provided us with information on the various products/shingles that they recommend. He gave us a list of addresses to view previous jobs and roof colors/shingle manufacturers. After choosing the roofing material we called back and told them our decision. We were given a price on the job plus faxed a complete itemization. A date was then set for the job and despite the magnitude they advised us it would take them one day. The day prior to the work date the pallets of shingles were delivered to our driveway. Early in the morning on the work day the crew arrived and layed tarps around the entire exterior of the house. The crew worked non-stop all day long and completed the job prior to dusk. Just as efficiently as they set up they also cleaned up. Tarps were rolled up, deck, driveway, and walkways were cleaned with a magnetic roller to pick up any stray nails. Job well done! We're happy to recommend this company. (Hopefully we won't need to be a repeat customer for many years.)

The workers will never sell report damage or mistakes they made. You have only 3 days to find these things and report them to the company or they can refuse to come back to your house. What seems to matter the most to this company is having there invoice paid in full despite unresolved issues and obtaining a 5 stare google review.
