I was referred here by a co-worker who loves this place so I was hoping for great service and an overall excellent experience. That was the case until after my appointment. Scheduling was easy and they were able to see me without too long of a wait. The staff is friendly (Dotty is awesome) until you have an issue. Dr. Conrad was okay; I didn't meet with him for very long because he has an assistant who performs everything except for the actual eye exam. So far, no problems with this place. I won't go back for one big reason: They tried to double bill me! Make sure you know your insurance coverage because Conrad Eye Center sent me an invoice for something my insurance had already paid for! My BCBS insurance covers 100% of my eye exam and my contact lens fitting. I've never had to pay a penny for the exams. After Conrad Eye Centers had been paid by BCBS they sent me an invoice for $35 for a refractive charge. I called them up to explain that this should have been covered by my insurance. I figure it will be a quick call because there are only two people who work in the office. After waiting on hold for awhile I get disconnected. It's 9 AM and no one will answer my call the rest of the day. Finally I get a hold of someone the following day and after explaining everything, I'm told that they don't bill this to insurance because, and I'm quoting, "no insurance covers this". How can they know that if they don't check my insurance? After hearing this I decided to call BCBS to ask them if I should pay the invoice. I was told to that BCBS had already paid everything and I SHOULD NOT pay the invoice. BCBS then stepped in and helped resolve everything. Moral of my story, know your insurance coverage. Especially when you are sent an invoice. Conrad Eye Center gets 2 stars because they did have friendly service, until I had an issue, and they were willing to work with me to find me glasses that were affordable. However, I will not be doing any future business with this company and I HIGHLY recommend you go elsewhere. read more

My wife, children, and I have been going to Dr. Conrad for years. The office is always clean and comfortable. The staff always have a smile on their faces and are willing to help in any way they can. When our children needed school eye exams we went to see Dr. Conrad. He and his technician did a great job with our children! They were very friendly, smiled, and the kids actually had a good time! Everyone in Dr. Conrad's office are very professional and friendly. They make you feel comfortable and make sure that all your questions are answered to your satisfaction. Our two year old woke up with a red, oozing eye. Dr Conrad saw her within the hour and did a great job making her feel at ease while being examined. Also provided clear directions for us and an ointment that was much easier to apply. If there is any easier for getting medicine in a toddlers eye. read more
