Normally order from this place, but the last order was inaccurate and shouldn't have been delivered. When a change in color or appearance of a paid order needs to be made, a customer should be contacted which in this case it wasn't. I had the receiver return the flowers to the shop and ask for a refund which has still not gone through. I understand business days policies, but it's been about 7 days now. I'll be honest. I've purchased flowers from Conroys before and I have always been impressed. Somehow they missed the mark terribly today. I went online and picked out an arrangement for a birthday. I really wanted the person to feel special and loved. I put my trust in Conroys because of the work they have done in the past. They had a picture of an arrangement online and I even paid extra ($200+) for the Extra Extra Large flowers. I wanted it to be special. What I got was extremely disappointing. I'm not expecting a perfect replica of the picture and I understand sometimes substitutions are needed, but I feel this wasn't even close to what was promised. The flowers that were delivered were semi-nice. It's not $200 worth of flowers though. Maybe $60-80 at other shops. I would have paid more, I just wanted the something remotely close to what was advertised. Don't trust they will take care of you. I tried reaching out to them with no response. A week before my mother-in-law's funeral I went into Conroy's and ordered a $300 spray of flowers. I specifically asked for red and white and red snapdragons. I paid extra to have the flowers delivered to the shop after cemetery with a half hour before the graveside began. Well my husband and I were driving out to the cemetery I got a call from the mortuary. The florist delivered the flowers to the mortuary. The person who delivered the flowers was told that the casket had already been delivered to the cemetery. He called his boss and they refused to take the flowers out to the cemetery. I got a call from the mortuary. I then called Conroy's flowers.. The person who answered argued with me that I had given her the mortuaries address which was not true. I specifically told her the Shafter cemetery she had asked who the mortuary was. She insisted there was nothing that she could do to get the flowers out to the cemetery. And said we can refund your money I said OK refund my money and then she said oh I need to call my boss. After a lot of back-and-forth someone finally went over to the mortuary picked up the flowers and delivered them five minutes before the services. I will never recommend nor do business with Conroy's flowers. My boyfriend ordered flowers to be delivered to me today (Valentine's Day). They were delivered yesterday, a day early, totally ruining the whole Valentine's surprise. When I noted the delivery date printed on the card tucked into the arrangement to the delivery driver, he simply stated, "Yeah, you're not the only one" and exited my workplace. I was surprised by his total lack of caring. My boyfriend and I would've gotten over the wrong date if the flowers hadn't have been a COMPLETE disaster. I had many phone calls after to let me know that they were out of tulips. I was told a replacement would be chosen to match the color scheme. Instead they added in one extra rose. There were no fillers. The flowers didn't look ANYTHING like the photo I chose online and when my Mom sent me a photo of them I was shocked that there were not many flowers at all and they didn't looked like they had been arrange. The stems were grouped together sideways in the bottom of the vase instead of fanned out like when they are arranged. I called in and spoke with Lexi. After several back and forth phone calls I was told I was getting a refund. I called back a few days later because it hadn't hit my bank account and was told don't worry it is being processed. Call back again today and I am told, I am not getting a refund. I asked to speak to the owner. He was incredibly rude, defensive and insulting. He wouldn't let me explain what had happened, called me a scam artist, told me there was no way that I would get money from him, and I should be quiet and listen because this is what is happening. Should have read the reviews before I ordered. I ordered a "presentation bouquet" of 18 roses for my daughter's graduation. I stated the roses had to last until evening and requested water "picks" on the roses to help preserve them. There were 13 water picks placed on the roses. You do the math. Where do I start with this DISASTER? I was sent flowers from a friend. The girl in my office walked them back and said "aww, you got flowers! But I think some are dead". Sure enough, about half of them were old and sad. The bow on the vase looks like my 5 year old tied it. I called and spoke with Cesar. I explained to him what I was delivered and he said "what do you want"? I replied "not dead flowers" he said that is what was ordered. Really? My friend wanted to send me dead flowers? Lady... I placed an order online through 1-800 flowers who represents and places orders through conroy. We just brought our newborn home after a 10 day stay in the nicu and the only reason why I placed the order is because it showed eligible to be delivered on Sunday and I wanted to give my wife a good Mother's Day because the actual Mother's Day was spent in the nicu. Come Sunday around 1pm I call to get an update on the order and was told they do not deliver on Sunday even though my email confirmation shows delivery on Sunday. The lady's I spoke to were rude about it and basically told me to pick them Or to cancel the order but that they couldn't even refund the order until they get the ok from their boss the next day. I made arrangements to have them picked up by a family member but then asked about the $18 delivery charge I paid, they put me on hold for over 5 minutes just to come back and say they don't know how to refund me the delivery fee and they would have to see if they can do it on Monday. I then ask if they could just throw something in to compensate for the delivery charge, they offer me a bear... at this point.. I'll take it. We my family Member gets there to pick up the order, not only does it say 7 day a week delivery on the window! They were very rude to her and have massive attitude like we did something wrong. Customer service seemed ok and that's only because of the girl who set up the bouquet. One woman when told me the price of flowers looked and told me that as if I wasn't able to afford flowers. So in the end, they had to make the arrangement while I waited. It took about 15 minutes to cut four roses, add some fluff, and charge me $50 (I think I'll be making my own arrangement next time). I ordered a bouquet and balloons for Mother's Day on Thursday for Friday delivery, but the delivery person left the flowers, and maybe the balloons too (we still don't know what happened to them), out in the sun, out of plain sight, instead of simply opening the gate and and leaving everything safely in front of the door. Saturday, she discovers the box of flowers sans balloons, and they were withered. So my mom contacts this place to tell them what happened and they ask for proof. She sends pictures, someone apologizes, says that she can exchange the withered flowers for the same arrangement, and assures her that they'd redeliver today,Mother's Day. So without being given a specific time, my mom waits around all day for the delivery, and they don't show. When she calls to see what going on, they tell her that the flowers had been delivered, then she had to remind them of the incompetent delivery person's mistake. They tell her that they'll deliver ASAP, again without any word on when that'll be. My first ordered was delivered via being left on the door step at 6pm, and that is perfectly fine but what bothers me is the second arrangement I ordered I was sent an email early early morning on the day AFTER Valentine's Day dating the delivery was attempted and failed?
