Eva, the owner, happened to be there and kindly told me they were only taking special orders that day. Everything else, no. Carnations were in paint buckets on the floor by the front door, and most of them were broken. I looked through them trying not to break more. One woman was at the register, busy on the phone. There were other workers? customers? friends? who knows, at this table on the other side of the room maybe putting bouquets together. One woman asked me if I needed anything, I said I was just looking but personally I thought service could have been more inviting or hospitable.
